Our school library is horrible! all the books are:
1) from about the 70's
2) are all about boring subjects
3) We have 3 rows of stacks that is all, that is it.
We FINALLY have got some new books like Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants and Hey! Nostradamus and Speak (good book) and we have got a REALLY good libraian so things are looking up for our library. What about your school libraries?

Mine is very lacking...few choices...and they're completely disorganized...there are plenty of times when I've felt like killing the librarian...

It's pretty good. The school's extremely small, but we have a nice mix of books. We also have the first two Sisterhood of the Travelling Pants books. Most of the books there are but one copy of, minus the ones in the classroom for group reading. But I don't use my school library much, so it doesn't matter all that much to me, anymore.
I'm too busy reading books people suggest to read or holds from the library or books I own, to read anything from my school library.

My library is relatively big, but they do stupid things like getting the first book in a series of 6 and then stopping. It's insane. They don't have anything the public library has and I can go to the public library all the time and put holds on books and get on computers there... etc., so, I don't bother with the school one.

I love my school library, they have a lot of books I'm never able to find at the public library. I guess I'm lucky I don't have one of the lacking ones.
I go to mine everyday during my lunch period to read and study, it's really nice. Though sometimes there are loud people in there, which drives me crazy...

My school is small, but we have a pretty good library. It has some modern books, and is very well organized. If they don't have it they can always request it from somewhere else, which rarely happens.

Ours is pretty awesome, we also serve as a public library so we have to stay stocked and up to date

My school library was quite good. In fact, they kindly donated me a 1st Edition copy of The Silmarillion by J.R.R Tolkien. They haven't realised yet but they did =)

Our school library is okay. It's got a lot of good books, but then it has a TON of smutty Sweet Valley crap in it. xp So mostly I just put holds on stuff at the library. They have cds and manga, too, so it's better, anyway.

My school library sucks. All the books are either for the idiots at my school or are research books. If you don't return your book or pay a fine you can get held back too. I almost got held back in 5th grade for a library fine.

I went to a catholic highschool and the only thing worth reading in it was the poetry. I was, and always am, on good terms with the librarians so I got access to their personal collections.

I recently switched school and the new one is pretty okay. I found some books to help me with my research paper, and I haven't actually used the school library for homework for quite some time...

My school library is just awful. The books are falling apart, people are always putting them in the wrong places, and it appears that the only books they carry are extras from class sets of books we read in english. The book catalog says that the library has a copy of The Never Ending Story in, but in three years, I have not been able to find it! I never go to the school library unless I have to work on a project.

i get a chance to borrow some books by danelle steel
(omg going home is so far my favorite book! i feel like reading that again. especially during the summer)
