For real!
There had been hail yesterday and snow today... After some spring weather had killed all the snow. This made the fields all crispy with a thin layer of ice.
So, when walking home today, I walked through the fields in the university which has small hills that divide each playing field. It was really windy out and I had to run up them to actually make it over them without sliding down them.
Well, the final one had two geese at the top which I didn't see. I scared them and they started hissing at me. So I totally hissed back at them and continued walking. When I was about 3 metres away, I looked back to see them still hissing. Then, one of them started to charge at me.
You know how geese need to run a bit to take off? Yeah... well...
Stupid bird had a patch of ice right in front of it. Two steps into its charge it slipped on the ice and fell on its a**. It quickly got back up and just went back to walking the other way as though it hadn't happened.
I love when animals do s**t and get embarrassed. So funny.

Sooooooooo...
This morning, walking home... As I passed the spot where the encounter had taken place. This being the first time walking passed there since. I hear loud flapping just overhead.
The goose was back for vengeance! Ahahah!!! I looked up at it, and it veered off, landing. It immediately turned and charged after me. I continued walking, not even needing to change pace, but obviously watching it as to defend myself. It kept charging at me from the floor for a bit, then waited a bit for me to get a bit of distance so that it could take flight.
It got up into the air, flying just about my head height, trying to get me. I get my fist ready to punch it if it were to come at me, br0! while still keeping my normal walking speed. It then just landed, and I could see it's mouth opening from afar as it continued to hiss at me, lol. Not sure if it was afraid of my fist or what, but I was hoping it wasn't gonna wimp out. It's not very often a bird would chase you. I wanted to capture it and bring it home. sad
I have a few theories of what's going on:
It's the same goose from before, that was waiting in ambush. A four day wait. Geese hold grudges, y0!
It's a new goose that just so happened to want to land in that very same spot. It didn't see me until the last moment and was spooked.
There's a goose nest nearby and the geese are just being territorial.
Now, come tomorrow (or next little while), if there's no goose/geese in waiting, then perhaps it was just a coincidence with a goose trying to land there.
If there is an ambush party, then it could be all three theories. I mean, the landing goose could be vengeful too.
Of course, all three theories could apply if it were the same goose that slipped. As there could be a next nearby, and it was trying to land at that moment. Then seeing me, sought revenge for the embarrassment it endured the other day.
In any case... That s**t was fun! Bird don't realise that I'm Airazor. I razor the air, y0! emotion_brofist
Oi! I thought Flying types were supposed to have the advantage over Fighting types. emotion_eyebrow
