The Gambling District - Gambino The gambling district of Gambino has been well known for catering to various vices. Gambino is the center of gambling for much of Gaia, due to the popularity of legalized gambling, availability of alcoholic beverages any time, various forms and degrees of adult entertainment, and legalized prostitution. The most popular attraction, without a doubt, is the Gold Mountain Casino which regularly hosts boxing events.

Charles thumbed through his recently-increased wad of cash one last time to ensure that he wouldn't have to go back inside and deal with a stubborn casino owner again. Three times was enough, honestly.
Nodding to himself at the amount, the Chauffeur placed the cash in his coat pocket and used his A~E PDA to text his current client, Mr. Joseph Brown. It's all here. Mr. Ungrid's stubborness is beginning to improve- it only took one dissected craps table to get the right amount this time.
Now it was onto his next business- busying himself with the newest chaos to hit the streets of Gaia.

The Chauffeur continued into the parking lot, fishing out a ring of keys from his pocket. A master of his craft, Charles instantly had the right key in hand to open the door to his black Viper, his car choice of the day. Once inside he placed the keys back into his pocket and placed his thumb in the location on the typical ignition switch.
The device scanned his print and the engine came to life. "Let's see," he said to himself, "may as well see what's going on over in Durem these days... check in on that hot goth chick at the clothing store..."
With that the Viper left the Gambling district.

There seemed to be a scuffle between two bouncers and a geeky looking guy in a hawaiian shirt.
"I swear I wasn't cheating! Not counting cards! No nothing!" He squeaked.
"Oh yeah bub? How have you not lost today?"
"I used the Konami code!" He took out an NES controler and began to input said combo.
The bouncer knoced him out in one punch.

Athan stepped into the gambling district, nearly tripping over the body of some unconscious guy in a hawaiian shirt clinging tightly to an old controller.
"Huh."
He looked at the body for a moment, then kicked at it with his toe. There wasn't really any response, and so Athan set about walking the streets. Quite a few people came up to him, asking for money to either support their addictions for gambling or drinking. Each were responded in kind with a simple 'no' or a polite 'get the hell out of my way'.
He was headed towards the Gold Mountain Casino. It was the biggest place around and, therefore, the most likely spot to search according to him.

Of course, there just had to be a huge line to get into the Gold Mountain Casino. There was probably some sort of big celebrity there or something, he didn't know. He also wasn't going to wait to find out.
Pushing his way through the line, Athan became suddenly aware that it was snowing.
A strange feat for Gambino island, even stranger was it that it was still comfortably warm out. Stranger still was the fact that when Athan looked up there wasn't a single cloud in the sky.
A few steps forward and Athan was treated to another strange scene. There was a small ring of people surrounding what could best be described as a small boxing ring. Inside were two bottles. One was clearly labeled 'Shampoo' while the other 'Conditioner'. This would have been well and good if it weren't for the fact that the two things had decided to sprout arms and legs and were in the process of duking it out with boxing gloves.
Conditioner appeared to have the upper hand, delivering a vicious right that knocked a few bubbles from Shampoo's lid.
Athan didn't stop to see the rest of the fight. He was at the front of the line and heading up the stairs to the Gold Mountain Casino's entrance. There were a few bouncers in the way, but they both appeared to be a little hesitant to bar his entrance.
That was until they got a good look at him as he stepped past. Athan's appearance was hardly intimidating, but it was far too late to step in and stop him from entering the casino.

Inside the Gold Mountain Athan was treated to a large amount of flashing lights and a series of buzzers. It was almost as if he had walked into a rave party, except less annoying techno music and drugged up teenagers, and more extremely poor country bumpkins with an itch to throw the dice.
A low whistled came from his lips as he began moving forward, heading towards the token exchange booth. Maybe some poor goober exchanged it.
"Hey, buddy."
Athan tapped his knuckles on the counter to get the attention of the man behind the plexiglass window.
"Anybody come through here recently and trade in any strange objects?"

The fight seemed normal to Kit. They've already talked to a ghetto raccoon and crashed a car into a farry that nearly made a dent in the island.
Anything else was just plain.
"Go shampoo!" He yelled, he had a few coins on the bottle.

The kid behind the counter only shook his head, leaving Athan with nothing more than guesswork to find himself a petal.
"Bah."
He stepped away from the counter and headed towards the door. The bouncers from before didn't have anything to do, and simply let him pass. Athan stepped up towards Kit and put a hand on his shoulder.
"I've got nothing."
He looked down, noticing that Kit happened to be cheering for one of the hair care products.
"...Please tell me you didn't bet on this."

"Why not?" Kit said, turning to his compadre, "It's not every day that you get to do this."
The shampoo bottle slammed into the thin conditioner, the conditioner lost it's balance and fell. The shampoo tilted downward and onto the helpless bottle of conditioner. Which made Kit think, was this boxing or wrestling? Whatever, it's not like he cares, he won a little share of money, even though he only bet, like the gold equavilant to a dollar, least he has two!
Kit went to the bookie and took his dollar.
"I don't think we'll find anything more here, lets get going."

Athan sighed and shook his head.
"Let's go. What direction should we head in now? I've got absolutely no leads...and as far as this day is concerned, no luck either."
He looked around, crossing his arms in front of his chest. There was a slight sigh, but he wasn't going to get frustrated just yet.

"You want to blow this popsicle stand and go back to Barton? I really don't think that we'll find anything."
Kit faced towrds the exit of the boardwalk.

"That works. Maybe we'll find a ferry that isn't being driven by a complete nutcase."
Athan headed south, back towards the boardwalk, at the suggestion of his compatriot.

And then Lazenca was on the scene, slowing to a stop and shifting up to Transitional. "Well, let's see what's here." At a more normal pace, he started walking around, his eyes and ears open for something out of the ordinary.

We're walking, we're walking... and on our left, we have Shampoo and Conditioner fighting for their soapy, strawberry-scented lives. Laz kept walking, shaking his head at everyone watching. He then stopped and turned around.
"What the hell was that?" He had to take a double-take, and doing so confirmed what he saw.
"...This ism is bananas."
