THEY FINALLY MADE NEW MUSIC!!!!
I WAS DYING WITHOUT THEM!!!!!
I NEARLY CRIED WHEN I SAW THEM POST A PREVIEW OF IT!!!!!
Is anyone else nearly as excited as I am?

I think sick of it is really good biggrin , I like the new sound it sort of has. Honestly, though, I really don't like american dream, just sounds way off to me :/. I'm really excited for the new album though :3

I heard rise.. I liked the lyrics but it just sounded kinda off. maybe I'm just not used to it?

I personally thought it was good. I mean, it definitely sounded different than what's considered 'normal' for Skillet. Though, they have been saying that they experimented a lot on this album. I read an interview where John talked about them using lots of new instruments as well as some synthesizer tricks on this album to kind of experiment with their style. That may be why the three songs out already sound quite a bit different from each other, as well as different from what we are used to! But we have less than a month till the album drops, so we'll see how it ends up overall.
