Spring meant the end of winter, and the beginning of spring showers. Xenotime always did like the rain. As a kid she used to lay awake and listen the sound of storms rolling through and pounding her little house with sheets of rain. Tonight's shower wasn't half so hard as all that, just a mild sprinkling, but the punk of a teen wasn't picky. She would take what she could get.

Currently she was making the rounds along the less traveled streets of down town Destiny City. Not strictly on patrol, though if she happened upon an order aligned warrior she wouldn't hesitate to face them. Naw, tonight was for the rain.

Hands out at her sides, palms up, she aught the cool droplets at the fell. It was perhaps a little brisk, but She'd been waiting all winter for the rain to come back. All the dead things would be coming back to life, and everything around her smelled of spring rain. It was a good night.

Spring meant rain, and lots of it, and a warming of things. Winter was gone, thank you for that, and flowers were starting to spring up everywhere. It was nice, so very nice, and they'd changed gemstone pallets. They always had every sort of gemstone at work. But the seasons decided how much of each one they had. Now they were bringing out more pink and green colors as well as yellow stones and more yellow gold rather than white gold. It was a way to follow the season and continue with the spring feeling people were feeling more and more as the season continued to progress.

Tonight Winterlynn had put in a bit of over time as they priced out new pieces they'd gotten in, pink sapphire and peridot, all done in yellow gold. So when she'd gotten home and showered she had decided to go out, powered up, and hit the roof tops. She needed the time out and she'd seen the movies that were playing in the local theaters, yes she'd seen each movie playing, and so not wanting to remain in her apartment and having seen every movie out right now she'd decided to power up and move through the city via roof top.

The light rain made her glad for the hood her uniform boasted, as she'd pulled it up and cover her head to keep her hair dry, as as she jumped from one roof top to another. Heels hitting the ground in a jarring manner, she really hated the landing in heels.

Pausing in her trek across the currant roof top she occupied she felt it - darkness. Lovely. Someone from the other side. Well...if they came for her she wouldn't back down, she''d fight. She'a already almost lost her life and knew better. Someone had gotten injured helping her keep her life. This really was life or death and she didn't want to die. So her mind settled and calm she glanced about and waited to see if they would come for her. If not she would continue on her way.

Xenotime's leisurely stroll came to a stop as she picked up on the other aura that had come into range. It had her tipping her head to the side, turning as she sought to decipher what exactly it was, and finally smiling when she realized it was a knight. Order was order, but no two factions shared the exact same flavor, and the lieutenant was getting quite good at telling them apart at a distance.

She would pay this page (for it was a page.) a little visit, and perhaps they could have a nice little chat. Apparently they could be converted, called into the chaos to join their ranks. So she was eager now, to do just that. To prove herself to her General-King, and raise within the ranks. She had already been praised for her fierceness in battle, but she still wanted more.

So the darkness did indeed come, like a bat out of hell. Sprinting along the sidewalk before jumping up the fire escape until she landed with a sharp clack of heels on the building ledge across from the page.

"Good evening." Her voice was friendly enough, but it held an edge of restraint. "I thought we could have a little talk, you and I." One gloved hand rose, fingers spreading in an inviting gesture. She'd try for a peaceful conversation, and if that didn't work.. Well, it wouldn't break her heart if the page wasn't open to joining them. It would just mean she got release some of that pent up energy.

The moment the person came into view Delphi felt herself twitch. They might seem polite but she doubted it was honest, or would last long. But for the moment she decided to play nice as well, feel them out if she could. "Good evening..." A simple greeting with a small little nod of her head and an equally as small smile.

"A talk...about what?" She didn't like the idea of them talking, she didn't like getting into an unknown conversation with someone like this. It was better than being out right attacked but that could always come from this 'discussion' as she really had no idea if something said could set this agent of chaos off.

Why was she even standing here? Why was she entertaining this agent of chaos? Why wasn't she running or fighting them? Though starting a fight wasn't much her thing. But why was she playing nice? or at least giving in as she was.

"About the forces of good and evil, and where everybody stands in this war," she mused, chuckling faintly. "What else?"The lieutenant's hands dropped to her side, swinging once before coming up to cross loosely under the swell of her bust. For the moment she would do what she could to come off as relatively nonthreatening. There would always be time for other things later if this Page wasn't much interested in talking.

"There's a pretty bold, firm line drawn in the sand between Order and Chaos, wouldn't you say?" Her head cocked to one side, smile twitching. "But I think you would agree, Order does not always mean good, just as Chaos does not always mean evil, or even bad."

She took a step closer, shaking her head to send purple wisps tickling her cheeks. "But I'm getting a little ahead of myself. Where are my manners?" If anything, the lieutenant sounded excited. It wasn't exactly friendly, but not outright hostile. The promise of violence was there, but with Xenotime that was to be expected. Their conversation could ride the razors edge of civility, where one wrong word might prove the page a waste of her time. She hoped not, it would reflect so amazingly well on her if she could lay out the goals of the negaverse in a way that left room for the other woman to doubt where she stood.

She didn't bother offering her hand, because she knew the page wouldn't take it. "I'm Xenotime, lieutenant of the Negaverse, and protector of earth."

"So you want to talk...about this war and where we all stand? I would think it's obvious where we stand." She stated as she motioned to the other and then herself. She knew just where she stood - she was a knight. The other was an agent of chaos. It was as simple as that. She knew, had learned, not to trust agents of chaos and that she should be avoiding them. She didn't want to fight them, she wasn't any good at fighting, but she also didn't like them.

"It is a bold line..." Trailing off as she pondered just where the other could be going with this. Was she trying to leas her somewhere? To decide something or say something? She had to be - there was no other option in her mind really. "I'll agree with that as well. Good is a matter of opinion as is chaos and evil. Chaos also doesn't mean evil. I'd say it's closer to saying something is disorganized or unstable." She answered slowly, as though her answer might mean something here. She hasn't really been asked for her view but why not give it? She wondered if the Negaverse agent was expecting what she'd just said. What did they think of her answer? And why where they coming closer?

Taking a step back she kept her gaze on the other, not trusting the other one bit. "It's nice to know your name..." It was nice indeed, the other had manners at least - how odd. "Delphi, Page of Polaris."

"Certainly," she persisted, that eager smile never leaving her face as she took another step forward to counter the page's step back. "Aren't you curious? It would be only natural if you were." It was manipulation at it's finest. All the more believable for the thread of sincerity that was interwoven though out. Xenotime didn't much care for the individual members of the opposing side, but she could admit to a general interest in their thoughts and ideals. Not enough to bother pursuing, but it would have been incredibly short sighted not to at least wonder.

"It's nice to meet you." The lieutenant licked her lips, a flash of soft pink against vivid lipstick. Of course she was trying to lead the other girl somewhere. It was the only thing that saved her from an unprovoked attack. For the moment Delphi represented an opportunity, she could just as easily be something worth taking out. It didn't matter to Xe, not really. She would love the praise that came from having lead astray the page, but she didn't need it. It was up to the Delphi where this meeting lead. Everything dependent upon the answers she gave. "You would think," she offered mildly, commenting on the observation of chaos representing disorganization. "But it's quite the opposite, really. Our ranks of very organized, though I'm sure you've heard. Militaristic, efficient."

The soldier chuckled, raising a hand to tuck a long strand of bright hair behind the curve of her ear. "Quite the opposite of the white moon and their allies, from what I hear."

"No...I haven't heard. But yes, it is ironic to be referred to as chaos and yet have structure and be without disorganization. Perhaps the term could be applied to some other aspect of your side then? Maybe not. It is simply what I've heard it called." She didn't know, wouldn't assume, that, it could be applied at all but perhaps it could be?

Again she responded in the negative, well sort of. "I wouldn't know. I don't know all that many on my side, so I cannot say for certainty if we are chaotic in that way. We may be." And maybe they weren't. She would, eventually she supposed, find out on her own. She wasn't going to go taking the others words as the truth; she would find it out on her own.

With the other closer she felt the need to take a step back but this time held back, refrained, from doing so. As much as she wanted to she couldn't permit herself to keep backing down from the other and so stood still, watching but unmoving. "I am curious but only because it's good to know whatever you can; especially with how important this is." Even if she'd rather never power up again and deny this new part of her life, which she very much wanted to do.
