Shooting range - On her 21st birthday, Rosalie had a coupon to go shooting at a range, and she figured 'what the hell'. More than six years later, she's taken it from 'what the hell' to something she does on a regular basis, and this is only partly due to her somewhat-recent change in careers. It's not just that she needs to be handy with a gun to protect herself, in the case of a bounty gone bad. It's more because she likes the feel of the weapon in her hand, the solitude that comes with the noise, the calming feel of breathing out as she squeezes a trigger.

Wine Tasting - Even if it means ending up at a table for one, or mixing with a bunch of strangers, Rosalie's willing to make a sacrifice for fine food mixed with fine wine. Mostly, she prefers Italian and Italian, probably largely due to her upbringing and family -- but she's always up for something new, a French tasting, Australian, maybe even Scotch. Maybe. Someday.

Romantic Comedy - Netflix is a dangerous thing, since it comes with a plethora of Romantic Comedies. Alone on a Friday night -- or a Saturday, or Sunday, or Monday, or -- if Rosalie stumbles across anything with Katherine Heigl or Jennifer Anniston or Kate Hudson or Reese Witherspoon, she can't quite help but add it to the queue…or watch it right then and there. Not that she'd ever admit to it.



Physical Description:

Eyes: Wide, green.

Hair: Lustrous black with undertones of blue, kept boyishly short, barely brushing her ears.

Face: Aquiline, androgynous, with high cheekbones and a narrow mouth. Olive-skinned, tan.

Clothes: Clunky boots, fitted t-shirts, comfortable pants, leather jackets. Barely 5'1", she has virtually no boobs or hips, instead shaped like a young man. Jewelry is, usually, her only real adornment.

Virtues:

Moral Compass -- It seems possible that Rosalie was born with her strong sense of right and wrong, with her confidence in the law and her dedication to doing right by people. Enforced by a family who reacted quickly and strictly to anything they considered wrongdoing, Rosalie now is unwilling to hurt other people or, often, even bend the rules. She understands the law and stands by it in a way that is steadfast, honorable, and true.

Spine of Steel -- Despite her size, her quiet tone of voice, and her fine features, Rosalie has a spine of steel, fearless in the face of danger. Whether it be a potential physical assault, wild threats, or hostile negotiations, she has a way of holding her ground and refusing to be pushed back which goes beyond mere stubbornness. She is a stone, when she wants to be. Flinty and unyielding and in control of herself.

It's Just Pragmatic -- Pragmatism means knowing what you need in life, knowing what you have to do to get it, and often cutting out the crap. Rosalie doesn't clutter her home with unnecessary chatchkas. She doesn't waste money with expensive clothing when she can find it cheaper. She cuts coupons, hunts for deals, and makes money go a long way. She takes bounties, that she can pull off, instead of risking the dangerous ones. She takes the pragmatic route, and it serves to keep her out of trouble. Usually.

Active Lifestyle -- In high school, Rosalie captained the varsity tennis team one season, and played volleyball the other. As long as she can remember, she's been involved in sports, favoring the physical activity. Nowadays, this means running regularly, watching what she eats [most days] and taking care of herself to keep her body fit and healthy. The result is that she's almost always at the top of her grame and ready for action, and unintimidated by difficult physical tasks.



Flaws:

Never Step Down -- The flip side of her unyielding strength is that Rosalie is unyielding and unforgiving. If someone wounds her pride, she is not likely to forget about it, and if she gets her teeth into an argument, she's not going to let go of it. She holds grudges much longer than is really necessary, and beats horses long after they're dead and in the ground.

No Shades of Grey -- There is black, and there is white; there is wrong, and there is right. Rosalie sees pretty much nothing in between, preferring to compartmentalize people into one of these categories. There is no such thing as just a little bit bad, or almost-right, and the letter of the law is the same as the spirit of the law, to her. Be good or go home.

Icy Walls -- Rosalie has few friends in life, and this is because she has a tendency to be closed off, unapproachable, and some would even say unlikeable. It's not exactly that she intentionally drives people off. It's just that she's so used to being alone that she sometimes doesn't know how to act with others -- and also that her pride means she finds few worth spending much time with. It leads to a lonely life, much of the time.

Bark and Bite -- Due to her small size, her slim frame, her fine features, often people dismiss Rosalie as less than she is -- and her reaction to this is always bad. Her life has left her with an impressive vocabulary, and when people are rude, she's quick to take a verbal bite out of them, harsher and nastier than is really necessary. If she can't bite, she'll bark loud enough to make up for it, and leave hurt feelings, wounded pride, and enemies in her wake.
