Or at least she'd thought that that was so, but this minor catastrophe was beginning to seriously change her mind. For one thing, the annoying (and slightly alarming) fog was everywhere and the weird whispers just would not stop. Every time she thought they were finally gone they'd come back, sometimes whispering of random things and other times simply too indistinct to make out. It was driving her mad and definitely not making concentrating on the book in her hand any easier - and it wasn't like she was the most naturally inclined to study in the first case. Practice and neccesity had made her better, but this wasn't for her grades and it was hard to relax when nearly every rustle of a tree had her jumping for fright.
Maybe she should've just stayed inside, but Leo hadn't been sure she could stand being cooped up right now and studying outside had seemed like a good idea. At the time. She was beginning to change her mind.
