"I feel like I lucked out, here!" Amrita chuckled out, getting over a more than enthusiastic laugh attack at Aymet's expense while sitting in one of two normal chairs in the Student Council's lounge. The Vice President before her had no awkward anatomy to accommodate, so she had very little to adjust in order to have a comfortable chair. At most it was just to adjust the chair height, but there was something fun about having her toes barely scrape the floor...so really, she had nothing to adjust. She really did luck out, and so she celebrated by pushing on the table, making the chair do a very lazy spin in a very laze circle.
"...Feels kinda weird to be here though." She hummed, looking at the rest of the council members as her chair rotated them into her line of vision. "But in a good way?"OOC This is AN ALWAYS OPEN ROLEPLAY! As in this RP is always open and mysteriously always populated with at least one current SC member! Mort offered her a grim smile (the only kind he seemed able to make lately) and nodded. He'd already told the others congratulations, but the cheer was already quickly wearing off on the zomboil for a variety of reasons; he was just lucky they were all people he knew.
Poor Thack, though: the lone demon in a room full of corpses.
Mort was situated in one of the sturdier chairs, a thick book in his lap, a journal and pen in his hands, and a second smaller book resting precariously and open along one of the chair's arms. Homework never waited! "Good weird," he echoed distantly, not looking up from his writing. "Can do something t'help." Hopefully. Maybe. Jack, his head hurt from ignoring the whispering.

Mot was proud of Amrita. The little trouble maker was now a Student Council member. maybe this meant she would be turning her wicked ways around? No more mischief? But more importantly, he needed to speak with her and others about a very pressing matter. A serious and terrible problem that needed to be adressed.
Why didn't the dorms have an RA?
Rampant noise making, not to mention the dangers that the school always faced. They needed a designated RA to help manage students in times of need. At least that's what he thought.
With a fresh Student Council to approach, Mot knocked sheepishly at the door frame, walking in to the intimidating room of peers.
"Ah, uhm. Howdy, everyone." A nervous smile as the tall, dark haired Reaper walked in, long poncho draped over his lithe form. "I'd like to put in a request, if I could?" Oh Jack he hoped they'd hear him out and not laugh in his face.

It was disappointing, perhaps, to one student that hesitantly stepped into the room, idly twisting his white gloved hands together, smoothing down the front of a pristine, peacock-blue waistcoat. Disappointing that he had lost a second year in a row.
But, said a little voice in his head. You did your best.
True, he reasoned. True, I did. And it's not the end of the world. There will be other chances to prove myself. And it's quite obvious that those elected will do their best to provide for the students of Amityville, so really this is not a loss, it is a gain.
And with that sort of view in mind, he straightened, still running a hand over his coat. But there was a gentle sort of smile on his face as he stepped up to Amrita, reaching out to take her hand.
"Congratulations, Lady Vice President," said Sparrow, the smile widening slightly, and kissed the back of her hand before letting go, ducking low in a bow of respect and then straightening. "I am quite sure that you will do wonderfully in the position. I very much look forward to seeing what you have in store for us."

"...Like what?" Amrita asked Mort on her second chair rotation, craning her head back as far as she physically could when the situation called for it. She had her own homework to work on - in fact, it was tucked neatly away in a bag off to the side for now - but this was her current priority.
"Mot!" The Patchwork cried out when the very familiar drawl echoed into the room, unable to help the grin that formed on what was left of her lips. Mot was mistaken if he thought her ways were going to change, and even so it had been a rather rare instance that even sparked the whole trouble maker table; a moment of weakness on her part that met his constant and insufferable do-good nature. There were so many jabs she wanted to make at him, stretching from questioning his opinion of her right through to gloating that she could clean up nice if she wanted to.
"Nice widow drapes." She settled, still grinning. Yes Mot, she had been talking to Hel. "Request away, my friend! That's what we're here for!" Somewhat. She did hold her hand up in a rather apologetic one moment gesture though, now turning towards Sparrow who had entered the room as well. The patchwork took his hand with every intention of shaking it, but was thoroughly surprised when he shifted to give a gentlemanly kiss instead. An odd sort of blush flushed into her fleshy cheek, taking her hand back a little quicker than she intended.
"O-oh, um, Thank you, Sparrow! It was really a surprise, I thought for sure..." Amrita trailed off, shaking her head slowly before meeting his gaze with a genuine smile. "I really hope I live up to your expectations! Maybe one day you and I could do lunch? I don't think we've really met one-on-one."

"Er, I do apologize for surprising you," said Sparrow, somewhat sheepishly as he tucked his hands together behind him, against the small of his back. "I've been brought up to believe it's customary to greet lovely young ladies in such a manner, so I apologize if it made you uncomfortable."
His cheeks flushed a little - don't think about it don't think about it - and Sparrow cleared his throat to dispel any awkward tension between them, lifting his chin and taking a small breath.
"I'm sure you will live up to your own standards, as my expectations are only that you will do well, and I'm quite certain there is not even a question of whether or not you will," he said. "I've heard that you are a very capable individual, and so are the rest of the Council."
Her offer surprised him slightly, Sparrow blinking. "Oh," he said, and now his cheeks flushed red again, this time with embarrassment, rather than sheepishness. "Please forgive me for not introducing myself beforehand, though you already know me from the elections. I, er, may have jumped the gun a little."
His stance relaxed a little. "But I think I would enjoy lunch."Enoh Love sparrow u awkward sparrow duck

"Oh, no, it's fine! I'm just...not really used to that..." The cycle of embarrassment continued, and now the Patchwork felt bad for making him feel bad, all while blushing all over again for being told she was a lovely young lady. Oh god all the awkward! She never did handle this sort of compliment very well...actually, any sort of compliment.
"The rest of the Council is more then capable! I'm excited to work with them for the next year." A beaming smile was cast back to the others before she turned back to Sparrow. The cycle continued still, and this time she felt sheepish for catching him off guard. "It's okay! It's a two way street you know, I could've sought you out before, too!" Both hands raised in front of her, fanned in hopes of clearing the air between them. A moment later one hand dropped to rest on her hip, the other spreading to cover her face, where she heaved an amused chuckle.
"Aren't we something?" She sighed out through her grin, all too easily taking a shot at herself. "I think this makes us even now though, don't you think?" The hand on her face slid away and stretched out, offered once more to Sparrow. "Lunch then! I look forward to it."

He had managed to fluster both himself and her, and now Sparrow shifted awkwardly from side to side, attempting to figure out how to get his foot out of his mouth.
Maybe it was a good thing he wasn't the Vice President after all.
But Amrita's comment made him laugh, and he felt some of the tension easing away as easily as it had come. "We are quite a pair," Sparrow agreed, the smile on his face widening. "I suppose we look rather silly right now, wouldn't you say?"
She had extended her hand to him this time, and Sparrow took it, shaking it firmly. "Lunch," he said. "I look forward to it as well, and I appreciate you talking to me, even if I, er, am being rather awkward."

Mort perked at the pair of boils entering, his pen checking its movement. "'Sup, Mot, Sparrow," he greeted quite simply, pushing his glasses up with an expressionless look. "Like Amrita says, is here t'listen t'any suggestion: none too big're small're weird."
Socializing was suddenly very, very hard. He took a hard swallow and tried at a smile.

Alexander had spent some time trying to adjust his chair, fiddling away with something that looked like it was meant to be twisted in an attempt to gain some altitude. Much to his dismay, however, all he had really managed to do was make the chair lower then it had been before. With a sigh, he rubbed at his forehead, before running fingers through two toned hair to reveal mismatched eyes. He eventually came to the conclusion that he should probably just be grateful that his chair was one of the two normal ones in the bunch, and decided that stretching his legs out under the table awkwardly wasn't such a bad thing after all.
"Definitely good weird." He echoed the echo, his backpack on the floor next to his chair, full of textbooks. In front of him on the table were a few papers, slightly crumpled at the corners, and a haunted pen which would probably be used more for doodling then actual writing but hey, at least he had come looking somewhat prepared?
He glanced down the table and both Mort and Amrita respectively, gaze straying back to his zombro a second time, though he tried to not to linger on staring at him too long lest the other zombie catch him in the action. He worried for his friend, but he didn't want to make his worry completely obvious.
Anyways, they were his battle of the bands mates, and two fellow undeads. Friends, which made being on the student council slightly less nerve wracking, and also meant he could keep a more watchful eye on them both. And he had two eyes again now. That meant he'd already doubled his productivity in that department.
Yep.
With the entrance of two students, both of which he recognized but was not well aquainted with, the zomboil sat up straighter in his chair, a welcoming smile directed to first Mot and to Sparrow. Amrita and Mort seemed to have things well under control, however, so he decided to make himself look busy by reaching for his pen and just..holding it, because he didn't really need to write anything. That was Mort's job.

"Ah, Mort," said Sparrow, grateful for the non-awkward interruption. He beamed at the boil and reached out to shake his hand, patting the other on the shoulder.
"Congrats to you as well, my friend," he said, and glanced over at Alex, the smile widening. "You too!"

"Only a little." Amrita agreed, rubbing the back of her neck before their hands joined amicably. "Oh my Jack, no, you're fun! Thank you for coming~" Mort and Alex's comments couldn't come soon enough, and Amrita was quite relieved to have a distaction. It gave her the time to wander back to her luckily perfect chair in order to pull her homework out, wanting to look as busy and as important as her Zomboil friends, all while waiting for Mot's brilliant idea.
Hopefully it wasn't putting guards on Breck's Shed.
...Did they even have the power to do that?
She hoped not.

Suggestions, suggestions, supposed to be thinking of suggestions... That was definitely why she was visiting. To suggest ideas and be helpful and definitely not to chit chat. Definitely not to have worn a fluffy dress and have a basket or duck her head into the room with a bright smile and happily announce, "I brought cookies!" Oh nevermind. Belladonna wasn't kidding anyone. "I didn't bake them, but I still brought them!" That was just as good. Totally. All skipping and bouncing the witch scrambled into the room with a grin, brandishing the basket quite proudly as it was full up of cookies of all sorts, along with a few other wonderful selections from the vending machines. Baking wasn't her forte, but still some kind gesture to welcome the new council in had to be made! Good thing there was a nice bakery near the school... "Hello Amrita! Hi Sparrow!" The witch waved at Alexander, darted over to give Mort a quick kiss, but was back to give most of her attention on the undead ghoul and the reaper, flashing them both quite bright smiles. As for the dark Reaper she did not know, the witch gave him a wave and a smile and hoped someone would introduce them. Bittiface Oh everyone just come on board ok

Mot nodded to Mort with a smile, giving Sparrow a nod as he entered too. He was right pleased with Amrita's enthusiasm to see him. Up until... "Wi...WIDOW DRAPES!?" Mot yelped in a hurt tone. "It's... it's a poncho..." His voice trailed off, his thin fingers picking up some of the garment's fabric as he gazed down with a frown. Inner Mot was pouting much more than outer Mot, surprisingly. No one understands meeeeee...Mot's eyes lifted as he watched the awkward conversation with a fairly vacant expression. His gaze seemed to drift toward the rest of the room, not really wishing to put much focus on the social train wreck. But goodness, the Student Council was mostly Undeads! How strange. The awkwardness seemed to be settling down, and Mot opened his mouth to speak again. Just then a bubbly witch showed up with cookies. And--- MY GOODNESS THOSE WERE LARGE.... ... ... um.. lady lumps... Mot coughed into his hand, keeping his gaze far away from the big bosomed witch. "Uh.. right. Why I was here. I'd like to request that Dorms get appointed students to act as Hall Monitors. In case of emergencies, so they can enforce saftey protocals.. and especially for lost freshman. But more important than all that is the increasing noise level disturbing other students from studying or sleeping well into the night." He said much firmer than he intended, his mind tracing back to his noisy neighbours. "I feel if there is appointed students with this sort of authority it might make dealing with such situations much more effective. I think students with concerns or complaints absolutely need someone they can turn to."

Mot's obvious hurt struck right through her unbeating heart. "PONCHO!" She cried out, as if trying to correct a mistake she never intended to make. But she had. "I meant Poncho..." She hummed sheepishly, glancing to the side as she linked her own fingers together. Yes, she hadn't meant to try and tease him. She was a good ghoul.
"Hi, Bella!" Amrita waved to the energetic Reaper, just before politely looking away while Mort got a little sugar. When she felt it was safe to look back again, she noticed the almost expectant look Bella had. It only took her a moment to realize there was one person in the room that the Witch hadn't acknowledged in some familiar way.
"Oh! Um, Bella, this is Mot. Mot, Bella." One was a bubbly little Witch who had her hoop skirts caught on too many branches, and the other was an almost insufferable do-good who nagged her the whole way through Breck's Shed. Thankfully, she left these unsaid, but was smiling almost stupidly regardless. At least they'd probably get along; they were both super nice creatures. Luckily, Mot launched into his explanation moments later so she didn't feel too particularly bad when it came to focusing on the Grim instead of the Witch. Her head tilted as he explained his suggestion, and after a moment she was glancing to the side again, a hand curled near her chin in thought.
"That sounds..." She hummed, recalling countless night she had been up studying, only to be distracted by the thuds or energetic yelling from her fellow Undead. Never mind the fact that she had been responsible for some noises of her own, she was sure; it was hard to keep quiet when you had a fire pet that loved your attention. "...Like a great idea! I love it! It might actually be good for safety measures too, you know? With that whole thing that happened recently...it'd be good to have someone who could do a head count, so to speak. On top of making sure creatures aren't getting too rowdy." Her undead brain was whirring, going over survival benefits to having someone be an 'authority' figure of a dorm, especially to the students who were spirited away in the past.
"I'd love to look into this further, I really would." Her attention shifted from Mot, instead looking back at the various members of the Council. "What do you guys think? Should we look into Dorm Monitors? Maybe use Mot as a test run before launching to the other dorms?"
