Who doesn't like something sweet that's freshly baked? No one I know!
In order to raise money for the campaign and spread awareness for your candidate through sticky confections you are having a bake sale!
Each candidate/campaign worker will start with 50 cupcakes. Every 10 minutes a player may roll 1d4 in an attempt to sell some of their delicious treats.
Roll a 1 or a 2 and the customer just isn't interested.
Roll a 3 and you made a sale! That's -1 cupcake to your total!
Roll a 4 and you managed to sell them 2 cupcakes! Good for you!
Please include in your posts how many cupcakes you have sold. (an example will be posted below)
ALL SALES will count toward your candidate's total so please don't be shy even if you don't sell out. Once you sell all 50 you must leave the work to your fellow workers.
This contest ends Sunday, April 14th at noon!

Example:
That woman eying the fresh chocolate cupcakes must have had a real sweet tooth! Harmony only had to say hello and 2 cupcakes were sold! That's more money for Anthony Darrow's campaign!

BAKE SALE!
Nothing got Aurora's engines going like a good old fashioned bake sale. She'd done at least a dozen of them in her lifetime, not to mention cakewalks as well!
Arranging the treats she'd baked herself last night Aurora waited, trying to entice the public with her goods.

Penelope was a hard worker and not afraid at all of bake sales! At least there were no bell pepper cupcakes with avocado frosting... right? (No matter how it might disappoint Harper.)
... and apparently her other customers as well, as one gentlemen walked right past without so much as a sniff for her delicious treats!

Well, just because one fellow wasn't interested didn't mean no one else would be! The teen smiled at the next person approaching, offering a cupcake and her face to remember on election day.

Ian Davis bounced around, incredibly enthusiastic about this bake sale thing. He was bright and cheerful, waving at everyone who passed by with a big grin on his face.
It seemed to be fairly catching, as an older teen bought a pair of cupcakes from him. Sweet.

If her own success didn't boost her spirits, the sight of Aurora working the crowd certainly did! Penelope gave her friend a quick wave before tending to another customer. When all of this was over, regardless of the outcome... she would have do something nice for everyone that was supporting her!
...was she too old for her first thought to be a pizza party? Or maybe, given the heat, a pool party? (But that would mean getting in a bathing suit and letting other people see her in it. No, definitely not a pool party!)
Her thoughts might have distracted her from getting that last sale, and her friend's shout only made her focus. Time to sell cupcakes!

Taking a cue from the incredibly energetic young man supporting one of her competitors, Penelope tried to up her game. As confidently as she was able, with two cupcakes in hand, she smiled at the next person approaching, "Can I interest you in some cupcakes? Even if not, please support me for City Council!"
Even if they didn't take either of the two cupcakes, maybe at least her face would be more memorable? It was hard to push herself out there, but she had to try!
Huh, this new approach had worked! The lady had bought a cupcake. Maybe she would continue to hold two, though... subtle encouragement to buy both!
