Erionda's feet seemed to drag behind as Aquon led the way through the trees. She wasn't pleased to be so far away from the celestial plane and certainly not for so long. Today was her very first time hunting dragons. Aquon, the person in charge of teaching her how to fight, had insisted they spend time in Serenia long before Arick arrived in order to learn how to hunt Ysali dragons. The easiest ones to hunt, he had said. Erionda was starting to doubt just how easy these dragons were. She had yet to see a real one up close. The added insecurity came from the lack of companionship from Uassae. Yet another rule forced upon her. While hunting with Aquon only his Diabi Drakein was allowed to follow.

"Silence your feet!" Aquon snarled.

Erionda pouted but did as she was told. Watching the larger Dovaa's every move. Refusing to let herself sniff piteously at the need for her father's careful guidance. Stopping with a jerk as she almost ran into the large Magescian. Her eyes following his gaze forward. So that's what the dragon's looked like. Erionda had pictured something, not quite so plant like.

Swallowing hard Erionda stepped up to Aquon's side. Only to receive a shove forward. Glancing back nervously, Rio's shoulders straitened as she caught the swift movement of his chin towards the beast. Shivering to release her tension Erionda ran forward with a loud scream. Alerting the dragon to her presence.

"Not like that!" Aquon stopped her short with a gruff grip of his hand. "I told you to be stealthy. Noise doesn't surprise the Ysali!"

Erionda winced at the tone in his voice. Stepping back to watch Aquon swiftly build up his magic and release it on the now prepared Ysali. "You see, when it is prepared for you. It is harder to kill, harder to hit!" Another wave of the great Dovaa's magic lashed out forcing the dragon to surrender to the end of it's life. Rio watched the Dovaa step forward and extract a green orb. Envious as he swiftly pocketed the item.

"Until you can kill one, you will not receive any orbs. I will not kill them for you. You failed this lesson Rio. For the next week you will be left here in the forest. When I return for you. I expect at least two orbs to be in your possession and a gained knowledge of how to kill the Ysali."

Erionda whimpered. "Can't I stay with Uassae and Lanzecki? I don't want to be out here alone!"

Aquon gave her a cold look over. "Weak." He muttered with a wave of his hand. It wasn't like he could deny her the Drakein and Keinling. The two beasts would insist on being with her in the end anyway.
