(Ranee can join after the "Best care money can buy" RP is finished.)
What brilliant ordeal had been gotten into now? A binding contract that now seemed to have more significance than mere slavery. Still, one could dwell in the fact that they were not alone in such dire contracts likely pressed upon them in the same manner. Spite, rage, a lack of sane mind.
The blue dragon-like organoid hissed from behind the cloaked figure. It's golden eyes watched the horizon for their guests to arrive without drifting to the lush tree inhabited land about them. Long whiskers extended from its snout and waved effortlessly in the wind that had picked up since noon. A storm was moving in. Gray clouds already blanketed the sky above. How fitting for what they were going to accomplish.
One, two, perhaps even three more were to meet them at the very edge of the Imperial border and they had been waiting hours patiently for their company's arrival. Not a word was spoken between organoid and figure as they waited. There was no fear of being spotted by the wrong person out here, that was covered. Their kind 'general' was thoughtful enough to be sure of that. As well as provide a marker of some kind for the guests to know who their informant was. Painfully obvious... but than again, most things were.

After his meeting with freakishly scarily civil ZOID All-Father, and recovering movement in his right arm, and not wincing every time he decided to breath, it was whispered that perhaps he should go to this place and meet up with his old partners. Whispers. Rumors...That sort of radio chatter that he plugged into at night when he had nothing better to do. The Ancient Zaberfang Zoid that was in his company opted out for this little side mission. It was going to stay put for now and wait for Talon to return. It apparently had to show him something still.
Desert gave way to Grasslands. Grasslands gave way to thick forests. The Green Tyrant blended in quite well to the thick, verdant trees and underbrush with its camouflage pattern. As for the meeting spot? He figured it would be where some shady person was standing round with that blue dragon organoid. Yep. That looked like the spot. Really, he made a wild guess, hid his Zoid in the underbrush out of habit, and made his way over, his rifle strapped to his back.
The blond man frowned when he saw it was just another cloaked figure with a blue organoid. He wasn't surprised. This sort of thing was expected. More cloak and dagger, more mystery, more shocking reveals. And no doubt he would get chewed out for not wearing his uniform. ( Seriously, he's been in the desert for months now. The uniform is trashed by this point. Even his fatigues are getting fatigued. ) With a quirked brow, and the crossing of his arms over his chest, PFC Talon wearily approached with a MOE on his left shoulder cooing in his ear.
Did he say a greeting? No. He figured this sort of thing was and should be handled by the 'hero' type. He was just some grumbling fool that got caught up in stuff. And chances are, he didn't really want to know what was going on.
It was all her fault anyway. Though which 'her' at this point was up for open debate. Really. It boggled the mind.

After he was informed that he had his next mission lined up, Shun went ahead and rested up. From there, he did what other preparations he needed to do, and made his way to meet with his contact. He had his sidearms, as well as those shiny new daggers he had gotten from Fox with him. Hopefully, no weapons would be needed so soon going into this, but one could never be too cautious.
Soon enough, he was in his Saber Striker, heading out to the borders of Imperial territory. Given that he wasn't told of anything more than the fact that he was to meet with someone here, he wasn't sure what to expect of what was to come. It could be anything.
Eventually, he spotted a cloaked figure with a blue dragon organoid out in the distance. There was someone else there too, looking a little ragged. Hiding away his Zoid, he instructed Bent Tail to stay put and keep Zutnic company in the meantime. He then approached on foot that was when he noticed it was no other than Talon who was with the cloaked figure. Given the few cryptic words he had heard from the General regarding this soldier, he supposed he shouldn't be surprised to see him here.
For now, he gave the other pilot a curt nod in greeting, then turned his attention to the cloaked one. Banter and catching up can happen later. Business had to be attended to first. Shun stood before the mysterious figure, waiting to hear what was needed of them.

And here they were, right on time. The blue organoid stood tall on its hand legs as its forearms curled close to its chest. They were an odd bunch, the third one was likely still either recovering or Rish had purposely delayed her arrival. Regardless, orders were to continue without the female if she was not present when the other two arrived. So, a warped genosaur and zaber fang? Both fitting for their owners it seemed. The strong silent 'hero' type and the founder of the lucky bastards club. The rugged cloths he wore were proof he had been though a lot, never mind the accounts had been witnessed first hand. A wonder he didn't have a severe mental condition yet. Than there was the polished and appropriately dressed hero. Expensive blades, a rich fellow for a bounty he had been given against his will. Rish must still find that amusing... The organoid's golden eyes flashed as he inspected the small troop. A clasp of thunder rolled over the horizon. "What a group of survivors... She must be getting soft. Usually she adds her mark in plain sight rather than a place so easily hidden." The man pulled his hood back and gave the duo another look over with deep golden eyes. "Let's get this over with so you can get back to your precious general..." This was going to be an interesting mission....

Group gathers together. Ominus weather arrives. The dead walk again. Talon wished he was surprised. He really did. But after the few weeks/months he's had by himself and amongst the kind rogues, nothing short of the Judge, herself, showing up and doing standup comedy would make him surprised. He quirked an eyebrow and simply nodded at the other's approach. Envy at the nice clean clothes? There might be some of that. Sometimes, he wished things went the way they were supposed to.
But this is what he got for being a damn lucky man.
Precious...General? Talon couldn't hold back laughter. He really couldn't. Nor could he hold back his comment about her. Not that he was really upset, he just felt the need to correct this ...third party person, "Precious my a**." He might have interrupted something. Maybe, but it wasn't the place for formality. They were on the edge of the Empire. Laughter subsided with a nibble ( bite really) from Moe who was not amused at his pilot's disrespectful words. "I'm sorry. Continue. If I offended, it was not my intention."
As of right now, Talon had no interest in catching up with Shun. He figured the Empire was in turmoil, Martial Law abound, and the General was enjoying her dual power as Regent Lord. Maybe once everything is under way would he dare say 'Hi, sup?' and stuff. Maybe.

Hearing the man speak, Shun raised his brow. It wasn't hard to figure out who he was referring to there, considering the mention of the mark. There was also something a little familiar about the voice, but he soon found out why that was as the figure before them proved to be no other than Ander Quinn. He was unaware that the man was supposedly dead (again) so he didn't have too much of a reaction. But, it did have him wondering just what Rish was up to exactly, given her position in power and whatnot.
As Talon spoke up, he glanced over at the ragged man. It wasn't hard to see that the guy was in a rather poor mood right now. Then again, Shun didn't entirely feel that Rish was exactly 'precious' either. It was his duty to protect and serve her, but that was about it. In any case, he didn't have anything to add to that bit.
"What's the agenda then?" he asked quietly.

Ander quirked his brow to Talon's sudden outburst. True, the woman didn't seem like she -would- be precious to anyone with good common sense, but than again that was the magic of it all now wasn't it. Imperials were too prideful.
"I could care less what you call her..." Ander spoke bluntly. He had no ties to the b***h, only that the woman had somehow managed to get him into a contract. What was it with woman and contracts now a days? "Though, make sure she won't be reading the insult from your mind... she seems the type to enjoy tearing throats."
With that lovely bit of advice said he turned attention to Shun. "Just as the 'dragon' said, settle some chaos caused by someone we all know and 'adore'."
The organoid behind him gave a gentle tap on the shoulder with one of his long whiskers.
"Thank you Saga..." Ander gave his friend a gentle pat on his snout before turning attention to the 'troops'. "We will be going on a long trip to the Imperial and Republic camps. Saga is able to see through the black fog, and we will be eliminating any sources of it we find."

He shouldn't have found the responce amusing. But he did. Ripping throats out? Telepathy? Sounded like a normal female to him.
Oh, he was talking about the General and not The Iron Judge. Anyone could make a mistake like that. Really.
The dino on his shoulder growled and hooted, earning a pat and a scratch behind the proverbial ears. A calculated distraction just long enough to cure the poor human of it's fit of laughter. Its human seemed to be listening now. Quite carefully too by the way he was standing.
A point destroy mission. Fog points. On all the bases regardless of faction. Talon wasn't sure he should approveor disaprove. But he was quite sure that this was a personal attack, and a calculated one, to garner the attention of a very unforgiving being.
That nagging feeling of doom was itching again at the back of his mind. A heavy sigh escaped as a sane laugh bubbled from beneath his breath, "Right. Well, what else? Surprise attacks on our own faction, followed by ones on The Republic's sure will garner the Press' eye. " and direct the attention to the Rogues, poor innocent blokes. Clever General. Someone should send her anonymous flowers for this little stint.
"Was it shared what We, " Talon gestured to Shun and himself at this point,"will be taking out, exactly? Marked points are nice, but I would feel less ... Blindly following into a trap set up by my commanding officer if I knew what it was. A communication malfuntion might mess with sent data. The less chance of screw up, the higher m-- our survivability will be."
He could be stalling. Talon wished he was. " It isn't that I don't trust you, Ander, " Talon said, shifting from foot to foot and glancing at the dragon behing the practically imortal man, "It is who issued the orders I am having a problem accepting. "

So they were to eliminate areas where the black fog were concentrated. Or at least get rid of the source of the fog. Given the state of war they were currently in, the Republic definitely would not be happy to see them. And there could be trouble on the Imperial side as well. And given that this was working directly against the Judge, well...
In a way they could be pissing off just about everyone. It seemed like they had their work cut out for them here. But given the knowledge and position that he and Talon had, there really weren't too many who qualified for this sort of mission.
Speaking of such, the other soldier presented some good questions here. It would be good for them to know just what it was they were targeting exactly. Of course, it was possible that Ander didn't have that data and they were going to hunt for whatever was causing the fog in areas. That would be lovely. It also sounded like Talon had quite a bit of spite for their General, not that he could really blame him since it seemed like the man had been through hell and back.
"I also have to ask if Nick is going to be an issue."
Given that she was on their side, and yet more or less a puppet of the Judge at the same time.

"We will know what we are looking for when we see it." Black fog tampering was obvious, at least for Ander. "I will let you know when I see it... As far as your general is concerned, she has too much invested in the two of you to dispose of you so quickly."
He paused in thought. His finger moved to rub the stubble upon his chin thoughtfully as he looked up for a moment. No, perhaps she might.
"If she had reason to, she would do so by her own hand. I can't blame you for your lack of trust. Her methods are rather disturbing."
Not that he had any room to talk being a former King with his own questionable violent methods. Not that they really care. He couldn't harm them, not with who was holding their leach.
Slowly his hand lowered to his side as he looked back to the group. His brow furrowed in tune with Saga's eyes brightening.
"That depends, are -you- going to be a problem?" A dark and very familiar laughter sounded from behind Shun. The soft sound of metal scraping against metal could be heard as the 'iron' hand flexed carefully.
Last time they had seen her was before her last surgery, in the temple with the Judge more than four months ago. Surely they had seen more strange things than woman mangled and fused with an organoid. Well, now they would know what the Judge had planned on doing with that dead organoid they had found.
Ander only narrowed his eyes on the sight behind Shun. Saga seemed more enthusiastic as his head and whiskers raised a little.

"Most in seats of power are." Talon muttered, accepting the answers. They weren't what he wanted, heck he probably predicted them at this point, but they seemed to be all he was getting. For once, he'd like a straight forward mission with no sub-clauses. And yet, he had a feeling that the straight answers would be more frightening and bring more paranoia to him than these round-about answers.
Then Shun had to ask a stupid question. Really? REALLY? They were going into destroy Black Fog. Of course she was going to show up! It was an unwritten rule or something. Talon glanced over his shoulder, past Moe who was wagging his stump at this new person ( cyborg?), quirked a brow, and fought back ironic laughter. He did manage a polite nod though. It was the least he could do.
Another question came to mind, but this one he would bite back and observe. Funny how both Ander and Nick show up... funny how this was all plotted by their General... Funny. Really, he found his hilariously funny, like someone smashing a nail into his side. It was 'side splitting'. Ha ha! Ha ha....Ahem...
Whenever they were ready, this odd group, Talon would be fine to go forth and try to not die. But for now he waited with a hand gently scratching the back of Moe's neck, and the other lazily looped in his firearm's holster strap.

Shun's question was not a matter of whether the Iron Judge would show. That much was given. It was whether or not she was going to be giving them problems while they do this. In other words; whether or not she was in control.
He began to turn around when he noticed Ander looking in that direction, though he heard her speak and laugh before he actually got to see her. Well then. He hadn't quite expected to see her so soon. Nor did he really expect to see her quite like this.
Taking a moment, he looked her over, noticing that she was becoming more machine every time he saw her. It was a bit of a disturbing thought, but he had to wonder if she'd have any flesh left in her by the end of all of this. And if not... what would that mean exactly for Nick?
"As long as we're more or less on the same page and that your will is your own, I shouldn't be," he said plainly in return, "And for that matter, glad to have you join us."
That was not a sarcastic statement. He still held a great deal of respect for Nick, and there likely wasn't too many other people more familiar with the Fog after all. Shun turned his attention towards Talon and Ander then, "No further questions. Shall we get moving?"

For the moment Nick ignored Ander. She couldn't blame him for being so sour toward her, but that didn't mean she had to allow it to get under her pale gray skin. Instead she allowed a smile to stretch her lips as she took a step forward and wrapped her arms around Shun in a friendly embrace. Okay, so the dark laugh was for nostalgia's sake, and perhaps to see if she could get a hoot out of Talon.
"I am glad the two of you are well..."
Shun and Talon were perhaps some of the only ones to have been let inside her circle of trust, something only two others were apart of. (Not counting the mechanical beings) Deadly Temple adventures seem to have wonderful bonding qualities.
"There will be no problems with my own will." She spoke as she took a step back from Shun. Her left hand moved to retrieve two rearing kirin shaped pendants made of 'tiger-eye' stone from her sash. Even from a distance it appeared to have something silvery swirling inside of it.
"The Iron Judge persona is still present, but it is easy to calm it before it surfaces... I have been rescued from my leach, as have you. Which is part of why I am here... The other part-" She looked to Talon so she could see any reaction he might have. Really, it was the little things in life that were the most blissful. "-is an invitation to my wedding when this whole dooms day ordeal is averted."
Okay, there was more than two parts, but she couldn't help but see Talon's reaction before they continued toward the military encampments. She held one of the pendants to Shun. Ander's eyes narrowed before he looked past the group. It was still hard to think of that woman as anything but the Judge's pet, though she had a hand in saving his life after that explosion. He shouldn't be so cold, but it was hard to move past all the negative events that centered around that woman. "Are you going to remain in the tree all day or are you going to join this mission too? Some of us have a crazed overlord general to return to... it is best you don't waste our time." Ander called to the trees beyond the group. Of course, now he got to show the world his surprised face.

Azure eyes opened from his thoughts of just how delicious the apple he was chewing was. It was so nice to be able to taste things again.
"b*****d..." Riot breathed out as he paused in his chew, as he inspected the apple in his hand. Rotating it gently...Well, he wasn't going to let the 'call out' ruin his meal.Reaching his other hand up in the branches he quickly snatched a few more apples and slipped them away in his jacket.
Up in one of the trees, sat the formal and still hunted bandit king. His legs shifted from their lengthy cross. Releasing a sigh, the male sat up from his restful lean. The trunk of the tree had made for a wonderful backrest, though it was now time to play. Which meant, moving...
The Whitebane show a grin, best not to disappoint his expecting audience now.
Moving off the branch, Riot dropped from the branches in a heavy thud. In his graceful drop, he crouched to help soften the sudden stop. A gloved hand curled about the apple as he rose, rubbing it carefully on his shirt the male reached his full height of 6' 2''.
"Don't worry Ander. You are invited too..." Riot smirked to the bandit, before moving the red fruit to his lips once more. A crisp crack erupted from the sweet fruit as teeth broke it's tasty flesh.
"Oh, buddy o'l pal..." The male winked, before azure eyes slipped over to Talon and Shun.
Of all the people to hug, the sight cause him to roll his eyes as he took another bite of the apple...
"Besides, Ander .You vary well know I do what ever, I damn well want." The Male spoke tossing the core of the apple over his shoulder, before he let his eyes shift back to Nick.
So perhaps there was some notifiable animosity between the two males.
And if he wanted to 'waste' their time, he sure as hell would do it to...

A hoot did come from Talon's direction, not from the unamused solider. MOE was hooting and cooing it up, absolutely thrilled about this encounter aparently. Talon, though, simply inked and looked so amused, the next surprise just might put him into a catatonic state of restrained joy. A smirk did appear momentarily when Mr. Warm and Fuzzy got a hug. It vanished as soon as it came.
Talon's surprised face seemed to minic the former Bandit King's at this point. " That's nice." was mumbled as the rifle strap was adjusted. Soo... They were going to blow up stuff, and then go to a wedding of the woman that was dead but not and was to be a bride. As strange as that sounded, this seemed normal. He looked between the group, mentally deciding if he should just kill homself now or see what happened next. Based on his past encounters, Talon decided that he should just get this over with... There better be good food at the reception.
That also meant walking away while running fingers through his hair. He didn't get too far before some pink haired man jumped down from an apple tree. Talon just stared, blinked slowly, spied the apple and was reminded he hadn't ate yet today. But was it the food that bothered him more, or the idea that this all was a ploy to destroy them all in one fell swoop?
Moe cooed at this new human, liking him. All these humans, including the nice lady, were cool in the MRZ's mind. Whatever this wedding thing was, it sure made the female happy.
It was a matter of time before Talon was pinching the bridge of his nose. This was... "No." He said, shuffling around to ignore the new annoyance that he was randomly guessing to be the beloved beau. "In the last few months, I've had a temple collapse on me, a psycopathic bioZOID try to eat me, an organoid try to kill me to get to my Seeker, barely survive a blast wave from some new unknown enemy thats niether rogue or Republic, and spent the last weeks trying not to breath because of bruised ribs. " Talon was frowning, and glared at all. " Just no! I am going home. I am done. I have reached my quota for crazy this year. Next you'll tell me the Imperial Regent General is behind absolutely everything and is planning to use ancient organoids to ressurect an old evil monster, and only we can stop her. "
He paused, recalled what he just said, and sighed, glancing at the only sane person that was making sense( Shun didnt count. He was, afterall, the 'Hero' and the pintacle of the Imperial brainwashing thingy... But he was sane.) "Points on a map, right? That sounds fun. Yes. Nice and fun.... Goddamned b***h is going to kill us all, I say. " The dino chirped and hooted, absolutely amused. It waved bye-bye, grinning apparently, from its perch to the group as Talon headed to take solace near Tyrant to prepare for this silly mission.
Everyone had gone crazy. That explains everything. Yep.
