Hey guys, I'm Kenny the Ultimate (Used to be Kenny Hughes but got hacked ) I guess your wondering what the thread is about, I mean, Zodiac right? Well I'll Tell you!!!!!!! I'm looking for LITERATE Role Players who will POST REGULARLY!!!!! This role play in particular has basically limitless spots for people to join (48 for the whole thing to be filled up) so don't be discouraged if you see a lot of people posting, there's always a spot. If people want more romance in it then thats fine, but it really is more of an action role play (so don't drown it with your back and forth love please) so here it is... ....The year is 2067, humans have not only discovered the existence of life forms they've come to call spirits in they're world, they have also come to live with them, rely on them (in some cases enslave them) and all around call them friends. Spirits live more as servants to humans. When a human turns 19 they are given a spirit, but the spirits that can be bought are rarely as good as the ones that are acquired through soul cubes; a kind of storage unit that spirits are stored in when they dont have a keeper. The human has the power to summon the spirit and command it's select power whatever it may be, and then let them return to they're world. Many use spirits for different reasons, cleaning, protecting, befriending, and in rare cases, dating. However the most popular use for spirits in this world are what are known as spirit battles, people come from far and wide to watch as a spirit and it's 'keeper' try to match and defeat the other pair by overcoming them. Many powerful spirits exist in this realm, those who wield the element powers of fire, water, earth, wind, ice, and lightning are more powerful, but the most powerful are a group of twenty four spirits who have come to be known as the Celestial, and Chinese Zodiac spirits, they can not only use the element powers but command the certain animal shape the power takes when it's fully released. It is said that no spirit can defeat a Zodiac. Only the most elite and spiritually aware Keepers are able to control such power, and yet, even among this elite twenty four, the two most powerful by far are the Leo, and Dragon spirits said to be the most ferocious in power and temper. Only nine men and women in history have been able to summon them to their side to fight. These two spirits, being strongest, want nothing more than to prove themselves to be the best by destroying the other. In their last battle, the keeper of Leo was killed sending him into dormancy and forcing his soul to wait to be connected to another through his soul cube, and let his power be released once again so he can stop the Dragon from devouring everything.... Two Keepers summon they're spirits and the spirits go at it, in a street fight, since there are no rules, a keeper can fight with they're spirit, in a tournament setting, the keepers are up on five story high podiums where they command they're spirits from to keep them from getting hurt. any way, whenever damage is done to a spirit (through a punch, or power) a keeper loses power depending on the power of the attack and the defense of his/her spirit. When the spirit takes too much damage the keeper runs out of power and the spirit disappears, last spirit standing wins the match. Last WordsI'm looking forward to the Role Play, the Roles are, any Zodiac Sign/Spirit (Celestial, or Chinese(Rat, Dragon Etc.)) and they're Keepers (NO spirit can not have a keeper.) -KTU

[I wanted to take the Monkey and Gemini, because those are my zodiacs. I was wandering animated or realistic pictures? Also I was wandering how many characters someone could take. I can control four maybe more. But wanted to see what the limit was.]

Bio: Paige was chosen as the Gemini's Keeper. It took her a bit to understand why. Paige had been practicing her accuracy by shooting guns everyday. Her fighting skills are not so great though. Paige often hangs out with her Spirit, not that she has to, but wants to. She does hope she will win her battles. At first, Paige thought Rin was a snob, but realized she was putting on an act. Rin received her name after the first three hours of them knowing each other.
Extra: Often plays sudoku with Rin as well as going out to eat sushi. Paige reads manga and watches anime.

Extra: Dylan is serious for having the spirit of the Monkey. He does like to drink one and a while.

Keepers Name: Zelia Hoshi Age: 12 Gender: Female Weapon: Twin Daggers Spirit: Dragon Bio: Zelia was always looked down upon because she was such a timid girl. She was pushed, shoved, and had no friends. Then she was chosen as Senka's Keeper. Zelia had no clue why she was chosen, but she had to deal with it. As Zelia started to warm up to Senka (Dragon at the time), they became the best of friends. Dragon showed Zelia how to stand up for herself and helped her practice with her twin daggers. Zelia soon renamed Dragon Senka, meaning Shadow, because they were always in the shadows together, playing. Extra: Although she is still timid, Zelia is a lethal fighter. Hanging around with Senka for a while has taught Zelia to feel no mercy for her enemies. Puppet master: Holo Sora Kurono  Name: Jasper Taylor Age: 19 Gender: Male Weapon: Balisword Spirit: Snake (but Rabbit is following them around as well. . .) Bio: Jasper is a loner. He was never invited to games, parties, or anything that counts as "hanging out with a friend." Nope. He stayed home, listening to his music. Then, around age ten or so, Jasper was chosen to be the Snake's keeper. He had nothing to do with that, until the Rabbit showed up. What was another spirit doing here? It wasn't until he found out that the Snake and Rabbit loved each other that he decided that he would be their Keeper. Jasper knew that the Snake was his spirit, but he just couldn't make the Rabbit leave. No, Jasper was kind. He allowed the two to stay, as long as they didn't get in his way. Renaming the Snake Kai and the Rabbit Mai (they adored those names because they were so close in spelling), Jasper started his life with the two spirits at his side. If she had chosen someone stronger, and older, Senka might not have been able to do what she's doing now. Because of Zelia, Senka is able to wreck havoc on the world. (Both accepted, as for the spirit powers, I love that you guys came up with your powers, as a bonus though, all zodiac spirits, Chinese and Regular, have powers over a specific element and the animal form they possess, like the monkey would have power over the monkey form, which gives her a special ability that you get to come up with, I just thought that was a cool idea when I started)

Kenny the Ultimate Alright, I added three more people (two spirits, one keeper; changed Zelia's picture as well). And, so I guess that we can use our powers that we came up with and the spirits can also transform into their "animal form," correct? When can start posting~?

 Name: Drake gave him the name Loki. Age: He looks about 19. Gender: Male spirit first class. Power: Psychokinesis, Fire attributes, and power over the lion form. Spirit Name: Leo. Keeper: Drake Marco. Extra: Drake found Loki's soul cube in the amazon when his father took him on an expedition with him for his 21st birthday. Loki will fight bare-handed, but prefers to use his sword he calls lion fang. Puppet Master: Kenny the Ultimate.  Name: Drake Marco. Age: 22. Weapon: His Family Sword.Spirit: Leo. Bio: Growing up, Drake's soul power was basically non-existent, even when he turned 19 he wasn't able to obtain his spirit because it rejected him for whatever reason; which obviously earned him some ridicule from his peers. When he turned 21, his dad decided to take him with him on an expedition to the amazon rain forest to explore some ruins. There, in the center of a collapsed idol alter, Drake found a soul cube. He was drawn to it, hell, he didn't have a spirit so what did he have to lose? So he unlocked it. The spirit that spilled out overflowed with raw spirit energy, it was ferocious and vicious....and then it yawned and looked at him with sleepy eyes. "Who are you?" Were the first words that Leo said to him. After around six months he decided to name Leo Loki because he was free spirited,kind of funny, and enjoyed a good prank. Extra: Drake uses a special fighting style that uses a bit of all martial arts which was developed by his family.  xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx  Zelia sat on the grass of a silent meadow, quite a ways from the town, finishing off her ice cream cone she had bought a few moments before. Her spirit, Senka the Dragon, was no where to be seen. Zelia finished off the treat and licked her fingers. Laying down on the grass, she slowly drifted off to sleep. Her mother and father were gone on some adventure like they always were, and Zelia had her life to herself. On the other side of the town, Senka was attacking a home. She had just ripped down the door and attacked a young child that was eating his last meal he would ever have in this lifetime. There was no time to scream as Senka jabbed her nails that were as sharp as a dragon's claw into the child's throat. The child slumped forward in a mere second, stone dead. Lifting the heavy weight if the decreased boy, Senka escaped into the shadows of the town. What was left of the young one was a smear of blood along the floor and on the chair. Senka hid in an alleyway, letting everyone walk by without seeing her. She licked her lips hungrily as she gazed at the boy's face and bloodied throat. Without a second thought, she dug in. A screech of terror and grief rose up as the Dragon ate. It came from the boy's home. His mother had found the blood. Senka smiled through the blood. "The murderer struck again!" she cried out, making it seem like the voice had come from the crowd. A roar of fear rippled through the people.
"What was that?" a young voice of a girl around eight or nine asked in the gloom of a old house on a hill. Another voice, a bit older by a year or so, answered. "I don't know, Mai. I bet the murderer striked again. What do you think, Jasper?" A third voice chimed in of a boy around nineteen of twenty. "How should I know, Kai? And it's struck, not striked." "Well, I don't go to school!" There came a sigh. "Well, let's go see what's happening in the town." "Yessir!" "Yeah!" The door opened, and a boy around nineteen stepped out. He walked a bit down the hill before glancing back. "Mai, Kai, don't keep me waiting or you're both staying here." "Sorry!" "Don't leave us!" A girl with white hair came running out of the door. Another boy came in sight after her, shutting the door behind him. They raced down to meet Jasper. They walked, hand-in-hand, down to the town where the murderer had attacked.
Zelia woke up, hearing the cry of pain and fear. She sat up, wondering where Senka was. "Oh, Zelia. You're awake." The young girl turned to see the Dragon. She was licking something red on her hand. "What's that you're licking?" Senka glanced down at her hand. "Oh my! I had no clue my strawberry ice cream could make such a mess!" Zelia smiled. Senka could not be the murderer. No, she was just a kind, strawberry-loving Dragon spirit. Senka, seeing Zelia's smile, almost laughed. Such an innocent child. 'She'll be the last one I kill.' Senka thought, sitting beside her Keeper. 'Maybe she could rule beside me! After all, I have taught her many things.'  xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx

Drake yawned loudly as he walked through the town with his arms behind his head; Loki was at his side, equally as bored as his keeper. Drake kept his cross sword wrapped in a thick cloth and let it hang from his back. Loki had his Lion's Fang hanging from his hip, he gently levitated Drake's house keys as he walked along the sidewalk.
"Damn it Drake, I need some action. Let's get into a fight." He said out of the blue. Drake, being caught off guard by the statement tripped and fell on his face. When he got back to his feet he replied with a simple,
"No."
"But come on! I haven't hit something in a week! We're not even training as much anymore!" He wined.
"We're not going to pick a fight with a r-" He was cut off by a scream. They didn't have to say anything to each other, they were down the street and around the corner within the next ten seconds. It was a simple task to push themselves to the front of the crowd. A woman was crying, Drake only had to look inside for a second to know what happened, he walked over to Loki and whispered so as not to be heard. "One dead it looks like," He said in a low tone. "Not much blood, a kid maybe." Loki nodded.
"I smell a lizard. It's her" He said, a deep, feral growl escaping his throat as his face twisted in disgust. "She's just senselessly killing at this point. Thousands of babies are born daily, she can't accomplish anything with petty murders." Drake nodded understanding. From what Loki had told him in the year they'd been partners about the dragon, he had decided two things. One. He did not like her. And two. He was prepared to stop her at any cost to him or Loki. He hadn't signed up to be a hero, but Drake was definitely prepared to not go extinct.
"Can you follow her scent?" Drake had asked the question maybe a hundred times in the last six months but the trail was always cold, Loki just wasn't a tracking dog, a hell of a fighter, but not tracker. Loki shook his head.
"No. The trail is new and bold, but it'll get cold quick while we're following it." To that Drake nodded, defeated and set out again, deep in thought about this murderous spirit who wanted the world dead, and her potential allies.

(♊) Rin and Paige Grey | Dylan Renner and Adelaide (猴) ▶ ▷ ▶ ▷ ▶ ▷ ▶ ▷ ▶ ▷ ▶ ▷ ▶ ▷ ▶ ▷ ▶ ▷ ▶ ▷ ▶ ▷ ▶ ▷ ▶ ▷ ▶ ▷ ▶ ▷  Early that morning, Paige was cleaning her guns and watching Rin, her Gemini Spirit, training. Rin was very good with a sword and yet so was Dylan, the Monkey Spirit's Keeper. Paige sat there for a moment, before Rin joined her and sat down to what seemed like it was meditate. Rin was a petite girl was extreme strength. Long black hair that came down to the middle of her waist curve, piercing grey-blue eyes. She wore kimono styled cloths and armour on her lower arms, wrist and shin covers, as well as a scarf that was made by someone important to her. She didn't tell Paige just yet and some flowers in her hair that really didn't have a smell. Surprising they didn't fall out of it. Paige was a petite girl as well. Red-orange hair and light green eyes that were covered by pink contacts. Paige's cloths changed according to the day. "Training over?" Paige asked the Spirit, as she closed her eyes and meditated. "No. Not yet. Rin kept it simple. She then sat there and finished cleaning her guns and put then in the shoulder holster and leaned back, relaxing a bit.
Dylan was out before Rin, Paige or even his own Spirit, Adelaide, the Monkey. He used a sword, but he was working on hand to hand. He had to make sure Adelaide didn't sneak up on him again. She was good at that. Stealth and Imitation, but could be very loud. Dylan was an older boy that normally wore earthy colours and his sword on his right side, seeing he was left handed. He tried working on using his right hand, just in case his left gets broken or chopped off. Just when he was about to finish, he was tackled by a female. "Dylan! My Keeper! You left me." When she got off him and sat on the ground with her legs under her, she had a frown on her face. Adelaide looked like just a normal person who he would see out in town. Jeans, converse, always a shirt that had the colour schemes red, white and black and light brown hair into a bun with some strands that escaped from the bun. Same colour earrings, pink lips and light brown eyes to match her hair. He then sighed and rolled to sit up and look at her. "Adelaide, we need to train. What if we get challenged?" The Monkey smiled and placed the index finger right hand on her bottom lip then at him. "We simply win." She smiled and bopped his nose then closed her eyes. She sat like Rin and calmed herself.
