Through the woods in his natural form. With his legs stretched out after a run, Uller was now just grazing on some of the grasses that had sprang up with the melting snow. It was sweet, moist and, he had to admit, some of the most delicious grass he'd eaten in a while. Usually, Uller was an omnivore, but lately, the boil had a hankering for grass. Maybe he needed the vitamins that came along with it. Either way, his body knew it needed something and he was finding it now.

Uller had taken on his big deer shape because he needed to clear his head. At first, anyway. He'd met Etzer and while the two got along, he was finding himself too intrigued by him. The last time this happened was with Tahki, and that ended up in heartache for him. He'd truly been romantically interested in the ghoul, but she'd left and he found his feelings tapering down until he thought of her as a friend. Did he fall for people to fast?

No doubt about it. The big, blue deer shook his head and blinked black eyes as he looked up from the grass he'd been eating.

Uller's natural form was huge. He was huge, muscular, his horns were impressive. The fur on him was like the skin on his humanoid form. It was light blue with dark blue legs. There were white spots on him that made it look like snow. His eyes were pure black, but around them was the red and white 'makeup' looking markings.

So far, today had been a peaceful day. Looking ahead, he found a sunny spot that looked like a great place to soak up some of the sun. Though he was an Arctic monster, he occasionally liked to feel the sun on him. It helped him out, when he's feeling down or just confused. Maybe it thawed out his brain. He wasn't sure, but he did know it helped.

Now that he was in the sunny spot, he shifted so he was laying down on his stomach, head perked up and just listened to nature. Forests were nice sometimes.

Going out to hunt used to be something Shaheen could go and do to clear her head. Now, the thought of ever having a "clear head" was completely laughable. Still, the act of spending ones time out in the woods, a bow in hand with a quiver of arrows at ones back, tracking things, concentrating on the various sights and sounds...it did still at least hold some bit of familiar comfort for the war woman, and comfort was what she sorely needed.

As the weeks passed by since her little quest for Medea in the haunted house full of insanity fog, Shaheen had found herself growing more and more reclusive. She found that even the ones that she was closest with were not always welcome company, and she more and more often spent her days finding ways to not be around anyone, to just be alone, even if somewhere deep down inside she knew just how unhealthy that was.

And so there she was, perched in a tree in the middle of the forest, alone with a bow resting across her knees, an arrow already loosely notched against the string, ready for a swift draw if necessary. She was trying not to let her thoughts wander as they were more prone to doing now, and was attempting to concentrate more on how the wind whispered through the branches of the trees, of the lazy sway of the bough that she rested upon, of how her feathers made the faintest rustling sounds, and of the way the sunlight cascaded down from somewhere far above, dappling the forest floor in abstract patterns of shadow and light.

And when she felt like she was ready, she moved.

For her 6'2" height and her massive wingspan, the chieftain of war moved with a sense of grace that was almost uncanny. She leaped from tree to tree with only a little help from her wings, and with almost no sound at all, until something caught her eyes. A shape, an animal of some kind, one that was of a good size. It probably should have occurred to her that minipets didn't often grow to be quite so large unless they were of a mutant strain, and that there was a chance that it might not actually be what it appeared to be at all. But it didn't occur to her, not when she was so deeply set in her mind that was for the thrill of the hunt alone.

She straightened from her new perch, held the bow steadily in grey tainted hands, drew back on her string, and let the arrow fly.

It never occurred to Uller that there would be hunters here. Mainly because he thought everyone knew minis didn't grow to be anywhere near as large as him. They were minis, after all. The second reason why is because everyone here turned into something else when their pins were off. Some turned to animals, some turned to other things. So, he was just soaking up the sun, enjoying himself right now and unwinding when he heard something coming at him.

Black eyes opened again and his whole body stiffened. That is, before something fell just shy of him and hit the ground. Leaping to his hooves, the Stag turned his head this way and that. Stamping his foot on the ground, he looked the way he came. His pin was no where near him and he had a hunter after him. Instinct took over over and he bolted the way he came. He had to get to that pin, else one of the arrows might hit.

He didn't even see who had shot at him, but he got a feeling it was a Reaper. Those stupid ghouls and boils didn't know what the Jack they were doing half the time. Maybe it was Thanatos, hunting for that Jacking snake.

She foolishly assumed that if it was a student, it could have just changed back to it's humanoid form without trouble, forgetting that these students of Amityville required pins to control their Fear. The war chieftain herself could ease herself between forms without such help, so it was a small fact that nobody could blame her for having slipped her very distracted mind.

It behaved like any other animal would have, bolting at the hint of danger, and that was all that mattered anymore.

She quickly strung up another arrow, aimed carefully, and let it fly.
