Hidden away from the prying eyes of those curious, both personal and passing, Cythoe's estate is all that you would expect from an elf who has had plenty of time to amass a fortune and loves nature. It is massive and quite self-sufficient, the servants who live there all humans that have been carefully scrutinized for trustworthiness. There are flowers everywhere, some rooms practically smothered in them, but no personal affects anywhere in the mansion.

❁Ҫɤȶɧσе❁ x "Let me tell you this: if you meet a loner, no matter what they tell you, it's not because they enjoy solitude. It's because they have tried to blend into the world before, and people continue to disappoint them.” x The elf smiled when he agreed to go with her. He was an odd one, poor thing, and now he was hers. Quite pleased with herself, Cythoe waited until she felt his breathing slow down and easily twisted out of his grip. Lowering him carefully to the bed, she stroked his hair back from his face for a minute. He was burning up and she frowned, greatly displeased. He had been ill-treated and not well taken care of here, it seemed. Well, now he was hers and she would make him better. Satisfied with that conclusion, she straightened and headed downstairs to take care of all the necessary paperwork and have a car brought up. She had walked here - mostly - but wasn't about to make him have anything less than a comfortable ride home. Ordering a doctor to be waiting at her home when she arrived, the fae hovered over Decimus as he was carried into the car and kept his head on her lap once they were in the backseat.
"Have a pet now, do we, Madam?" the old man, whose looks belied his strength, asked as he met her on the steps to her home. Cythoe was carrying her slave with ease and nodded, levitating into the home and up to the second floor where his room was, down the hall from her own. Lowering him carefully onto the bed, she got him adjusted and ran a hand through her hair.
"He isn't -"
"I can tell." Even as he interrupted her, his tone was soothing as the old fae came to look at the creature. He was nothing the old man had seen before and his hands lit up to a blinding white as he rested them over the slave, skimming his body with a slight frown. The fae behind him fidgeted anxiously, hating not having anything to do or help. It took longer than she wanted, though she knew he'd be thorough, and the old man nodded. "He'll live, with rest," he told her. "Years of torture, mental abuse, and a touch of the flu has knocked him down. I'll go downstairs and put together what you'll need, you have all the herbs I require here."
With that, he strode from the room and Cythoe bit her lip anxiously. Pacing around the room for a minute, she sighed and moved into Decimus' bathroom to dampen a washcloth with cool water before bringing it over and setting it down on his forehead. Adjusting that and her jacket, Cythoe sat down next to him, humming another old song that few of her kind even knew anymore. "You can rest and get better. This is your home, you're safe here, I promise. You can have anything you like," she whispered, interrupting her song for a moment to look down at him.

♐ DE CI MU S ♋ K OK OB UN JI ♐ xx ♋ I will serve you xxxx ♋ Until my dying breath xxxxxx ♋ So to my enemies xxxxxxxx ♋ Prepare to die ♐ Decimus could feel his body be moved, but what did he care. He liked the girl so far and trusted her for now. Before they left, there was an empty black old Chevy Caprice sitting in the parking lot, and as they left it vanished into thin air. When they arrived to the house and got in, the car appeared, and just sat on the driveway. The car itself was ominous, since it was jet black, with full black tinted windows, so dark you couldn't see inside. The car had a evil presence surrounding it, and if you got to close you could feel it. The car didn't have anything to do with the soon to be wife, but to someone who didn't know about it, it seemed out of the ordinary. It was Decimus's car, and he had yet to inform Cythoe about it since he was asleep and forgot all about it because of the sickness. And as they were in the room, his mind was stuck in a constant nightmare.
He was stuck in a pitch black room, the sound of water dripping to the floor was the only noise being made. He could see himself sitting in a chair against a wall, and all he could hear voices. The voices insulted him, calling him crazy, worthless, and a whole mess of other things. It went back to him now, and he looked around the pitch black room and the voices disappeared. He saw his wife to be. "Decimusssss. Why do you hide from me? Im only trying to fulfill what our parents arranged for us. I love you. Why do you run from me? Why do you not love me? Or is it that you hate me? I don't understand. I love you so much, but you give me nothing in return. Well, you don't have to worry. I forgive you. We will be together soon and even if you don't love me, I will make you love me. Because I've been looking up spells and love potions that will do juuuust the trick. I will see you soon, my love." In reality, with Cythoe in the room, Decimus exhaled all the breath in his body, inhaled as much as he could, and let out a deep scream, waking up and launching himself over Cythoe, doing a flip in the air, and landed on his feet. He tore off his shirt, revealing the symbols that coated him, and pressed against two that were on his back. They disappeared, and a Morning Star appeared in his left hand, and a katana in his right.
He looked around, gasping and his body shivering like mad, and his eyes landed on Cythoe. He tensed up, but relaxed a bit recognizing her, letting go of the two weapons and they disappeared into thin black smoke, and the writing reappeared on his back. He put his hand up and felt a washclothe on his head that surprisingly stayed on during his small freakout. He took it off and looked at it, then laid it on the top of his head as he slowly approached Cythoe. "My god I have to stop dreaming...Sorry if I startled you. I had a bad nightmare." He spoke and walked fully up to her and hugged her. ┏ ┘ ┏ ┘ ┏ ┘┏ ┘ ┏ ┘ ┏ ┘ ┏ ┘ ┏ ┘ xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx xx xx ┏ ┘ ┏ ┘ ┏ ┘ ┏ ┘ ┏ ┘ ┏ ┘ ┏ ┘ ┏ ┘

❁Ҫɤȶɧσе❁ x "Let me tell you this: if you meet a loner, no matter what they tell you, it's not because they enjoy solitude. It's because they have tried to blend into the world before, and people continue to disappoint them.” x One moment she had been sitting there peacefully, thinking on giving Decimus a tour once he felt better, showing him his new home and seeing what he thought of it, what he might want changed. The next she jerked in surprise when he screamed and launched himself over her head as if he were attacking something. Cythoe reached her hand out for him, about to grab him and keep him from hurting himself, when he pulled his shirt off and revealed the tattoos on his skin. She recoiled immediately in disgust, not of him, but the foul magic that clung to the markings. Her hand dropped in her lap as her eyes went wide while he somehow summoned weapons from them and her mouth was dry. How...she could taste it on her tongue, the dirty aura of whatever had been done to him, but she couldn't pinpoint it, didn't recognize it as a sorcerer she knew. There was no urge to take him back, no fear of him, no desire to run away. Instead she wanted to grab onto him and hold him until he knew he was safe, that it was all right. But he was dangerous, she knew that, and kept still. Though she did tense slightly when he turned and looked at her.
When the weapons suddenly vanished in that black smoke that trickled away and he hugged her, she returned the gesture tightly out of relief. "It's all right," Cythoe murmured, resting her face against his shoulder and closing her eyes. Her own shoulders sagged a bit in relief that she hadn't had to hurt him to protect herself and she let out a sigh. "There are things I can do to help the dreams, if you have them often," she told him quietly, holding him to her tightly as if afraid he might vanish like his weapons. She knew he could, having been teleported around herself, but she hoped there was enough trust he wouldn't do that. Wouldn't run away and leave her alone here.
The elf let out a breath and pulled back enough to look at him, concern and worry mixing in her bright eyes. "Are you feeling better? Are you hungry, tired?" she asked him, touching his cheek gently, as if to feel how how his skin was. "You have your own bathroom if you want to bath and there are clothes as well for you," she continued. It had been easy enough while he slept to have such things arranged - simple for an elf, at least.

♐ DE CI MU S ♋ K OK OB UN JI ♐ xx ♋ I will serve you xxxx ♋ Until my dying breath xxxxxx ♋ So to my enemies xxxxxxxx ♋ Prepare to die ♐ Decimus held onto the Cythoe, nuzzling his head into her neck, and closing his eyes. He heard her speak about helping him and talked about his dreams. He let out a yawn and relaxed into the girl, feeling a bit rested through the little sleep he had. 'Can she help me? These dreams are partially a way in for that insane woman.' He thought, and moved his head away to look at her. "It is partially the dreams, but a mix of something else. Someone keeps entering my dreams. Someone my parents arranged a wedding with, me being the husband against my will. This has gone throught my family. That is why I have 14 races in my blood. I am supposed to breed with this woman to add another race into the family blood line. It is a sick thing, but I have to do as my family says. Otherwise there will be consequences that are far worse then the years of torture I endured. My family is a scary and evil bunch." He spoke, thinking back to the uncle he would have had, if they didn't mutilate him him for disobeying. Decimus had a set number of days, and he was running short. He had less then a month, and if he didn't do it, he would be tortured. If he disobeyed, he would be dropped in salt with multiple flesh wounds. If he disobeyed again, he would be hung.
He was scared, even though he had an additional race under his belt, and the weapon curses, they had tools that could cancel his powers as if they were non-exsistent. They had access to these things so easily, but it was only in his family. Not even the girl he was to be wedded to knew about it. He heard Cythoe talk, and snapped out of his trance. He backed but a bit and starred at her neck, and he got close to it and exposed his canines. He bit into her neck gently, not making her feel pain but the opposite, extreme pleasure. And when he drew his teeth, the bite mark sizzled and morphed into a black symbol. He then backed up fully, and bit into an unmarked spot on his hand. When he drew his teeth from it, it sizzled and made the same symbol as the one on Cythoe's neck. "There. We are fated. I will die for you, Cythoe. I hope you won't let anything happen to me, as I for you. And yes mam, I'm starving. And I would like to bathe and clean up. But I rather eat first." ┏ ┘ ┏ ┘ ┏ ┘┏ ┘ ┏ ┘ ┏ ┘ ┏ ┘ ┏ ┘ xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx xx xx ┏ ┘ ┏ ┘ ┏ ┘ ┏ ┘ ┏ ┘ ┏ ┘ ┏ ┘ ┏ ┘

❁Ҫɤȶɧσе❁ x "Let me tell you this: if you meet a loner, no matter what they tell you, it's not because they enjoy solitude. It's because they have tried to blend into the world before, and people continue to disappoint them.” x Listening to him tell her more about him, the fae's eyes widened in horror and a bit of disgust. That was monstrous, to do to someone! No wonder he had nightmares and was ill, if that was the sort of life he'd endured. More things made sense about the slave she had acquired suddenly and she fell silent, thinking while he talked. Cythoe was no slouch when it came to defending herself, having centuries of experience after all. What worried her was defending Decimus as well. Not because she didn't want to or wouldn't, but because she knew next to nothing about his family or the sort of enemies she would have to face in protecting them. She bit her lip while she thought, going over her options. There weren't many. Her magic was plenty strong and could keep them safe as long as they were in her home. It was obviously going outside that presented the problem. While she knew plenty of protection spells, the fae hadn't had to use them in decades and wasn't sure of her ability to keep either of them safe from multiple attackers. At least not yet. "It looks like I'll have to brush up on my magic," she mused privately, swallowing a sigh.
Cythoe had barely been able to finish her thought before Decimus shifted away from her. She looked back at him as he stared at her, unsure what he was really planning on doing. About to ask, her lips parted as he bent down and bit into her neck. A soft gasp escaped her, from surprise, before a quiet moan of pleasure passed through her lips as her eyes fell shut for a moment. It was more than unexpected and she had no idea he could do that. Vampires could, and some demons...what was he? Catching her breath as he moved away from her, the fae looked at him and touched her neck gently as she saw the black mark appear on his hand. While she couldn't see her neck, she had no doubt that a similar mark, or an exact mark, was on her skin now. "That...some warning would have been nice," she murmured, more surprised than reproachful.
When he mentioned wanting to eat, Cythoe was more than happy to return to something normal, at least for the time being. She got to her feet and nodded, straightening out her clothing. "All right, food first then," she said decidedly. One of the servants came in to run the bath for him as she took his hand and led him out to the hall. Glancing at him, she nodded. "And no, Decimus, I won't let anything happen to you," she promised, as she led him downstairs to the kitchen.
ooc: Gah, I'm so sorry this took forever, I completely forgot about it! ><

♐ DE CI MU S ♋ K OK OB UN JI ♐ xx ♋ I will serve you xxxx ♋ Until my dying breath xxxxxx ♋ So to my enemies xxxxxxxx ♋ Prepare to die ♐ Decimus sat around the bed and watched Cythoe who seemed to be going into a train of thought about something, and he looked around the room and fell back on the bed. She spoke of warning and he hopped right back up and raised a brow. "Yes, but there is no fun in warning you. The fun thing is to watch peoples expressions as something totally out of the blue happens and surprises them. So that is why I didn't warn you. Plus I heard a moan out of you young lady. Im gonna go with it being the bite but if Im wrong feel free to correct me." He grinned and watched Cythoe hold his hand and lead him around, which he had no problem with. The girl was cool and already he admired her compassion for other living things, especially those who have been tortured. She already did great as a master in his eyes. She spoke of food and his hungry stomach growled once more, but he had to be careful with how much he ate or he could end up throwing up. And that was the last thing he wanted to do infront of Cythoe. He already acted stupid enough.
As they approached the kitchen the smell of food near entranced him and his mouth started to water, but he recollected himself and looked up to her. "I shall take your word on that beautiful. If anything tries to harm you they will meet a fate so horrific they shall remember it in their next life if they have one." He grinned and stopped suddenly, hearing a voice in his head. "I seeeeee youuuuuu." He heard and pulled from Cythoe's hand and looked around in a daze, catching the sight of the girl in the window he shuddered deeply. The girl blew him a kiss, and he brushed a marking on his chest, creating a warpick in his hand. He spun and whipped it at the window, but the girl disappeared and so did the warpick. Still shuddering the marking reappeared and he dropped to the floor on his knees, a shocked expression on his face. He didn't give Cythoe enough time to react before he teleported on her back and wrapped himself around her like he did when they first met. "She was here.... she was here.... she....was.... looking at me so happily... I-I don't know what to do anymore..." He whispered into her ear, not wanting the bath anymore. She was a water demon, and she could appear in the bath at anytime if he was alone. It would be the perfect chance to capture him, but he shook his head and tried to think of an excuse to skip out on the bath.

It's because they have tried to blend into the world before, and people continue to disappoint them.” x Cythoe didn't even blush when he mentioned he'd heard the moan. She was too old to really care and it took quite a lot to embarrass her or even surprise her. Decimus was doing a find job of the latter, however, which surprised her in the end. Perhaps she should find another slave to keep him company, she thought, though she didn't plan on going very far in any case. Still, maybe he'd like the company. Thinking that over and putting it aside for further consideration, the fae found it comforting, holding his hand. She so rarely had that sort of simple physical contact anymore. Mostly she denied herself, for several reasons. It was dangerous to be close to her, for one thing, she had learned that the hard way and had no desire to repeat such an experience again.
It was rather peaceful, going to the kitchens, and even she grew hungry smelling the food the chef was preparing. She'd had them start on a variety of things, not knowing what Decimus would prefer, and lost in her own thoughts Cythoe didn't even notice when he brushed the marking, though she certainly did when he spun around and threw something at the window. She looked down at him in shock and then stumbled a bit when he clung to her back so suddenly, reaching out a hand to brace herself against the wall to keep from falling over. "What? Who's --" She paused when she realized who it was and her eyes glowed faintly. A shudder seemed to go through the very ground itself as she activated several wards she had placed around her property - ones centuries old and dangerous. There was nothing there now and she shook her head, trying to slid him off before he hurt her back. "There's no one here now, Decimus, I promise," she told him soothingly, her hand holding onto one of the ones wrapped around her neck.
Another fae came running down the hall from another part of the house, eyes wide with concern. "Cythoe! What was that about?" he demanded, glancing from her to the new slave to her again.
"It's fine, Ealdun. Just keep an eye out like I told you," Cythoe informed him. He was another fae, one who chose to serve her despite her self-imposed exile for now, and an occasional lover as well. "Decimus, this is Ealdun. You can trust him as much as you can trust me," she added, twisting her neck to look at the male on her back.

♐ DE CI MU S ♋ K OK OB UN JI ♐ xx ♋ I will serve you xxxx ♋ Until my dying breath xxxxxx ♋ So to my enemies xxxxxxxx ♋ Prepare to die ♐ Decimus shivered, but slowly stopped when he heard her soothing voice. He leaned over and kissed her on the cheek, and relaxed a bit. His tortured mind was getting to him, and seeing the girl started making him see things, things that weren't there. There were lights spiraling around him, making him slowly move off Cythoe. He laid his back against the wall and started rocking back and forth, holding his head. "Odlazi zle duhove. Ostavite moj um. Odlazi zle duhove. Ostavite moj um. Odlazi zle duhove. Ostavite moj um." He muttered, repeating the same thing over and over, which stood for 'Go away evil spirits. Leave my mind.' He twitched and head footsteps approach to see someone running towards them. He had blocked out voices, and saw the boy as a threat. He shifted to his demon form, and as he teleported, this time it wasn't as smooth. The teleportation seemed to suck in the air around it, and when he disappeared there was a small booming noise. He teleported to the ceiling, and teleported behind the boy, the red in the forms body pulsing to Decimus's heartbeat.
He grabbed his chin and head, and before he snapped the boy's neck he heard Cythoe say he was ok, and he let his arms sloop down, stopping on the male Fae's shoulders. He backed up a bit, shifting back to his human form. He moved away from the male, and walked back over to Cythoe, taking one of her hands. He held it softly, and turned to look at the male. He bared his teeth a bit, feeling slightly possessive of his newfound master. He didn't want to let her go, not now or ever. But he did show to be a bit uncontrollable at times, a bit insane, and a bit violent. He didn't want the nice master to take him back to the shop and let his tormented mind overpower what sanity he had left. It was dead close to happening though. One more week stuck in a blank canvus of a room would have done him in. He stood front, staring at the male. He had his free hand gingerly hovering over a symbol that would resummon the war pick, incase the male provoked the tormented child. "When will dinner be available Master Cythoe..." He spoke sheepishly. He hoped that the master would eat with him, therefore not leaving him alone.

It's because they have tried to blend into the world before, and people continue to disappoint them.” x When Decimus shifted into his demon form, Cythoe's eyes widened in surprise, rather than actual fear. Even if he had snapped Ealdun's neck it wouldn't have killed the fae, merely served as an inconvenience for him until she healed him. Fae were far more tough than people thought and what could kill a human could rarely kill a fae. Dismemberment - now that was a tough one and no one had wanted to test it. The only reason she didn't do anything was because she didn't want to startle Decimus more than he obviously was. She did let out a sigh of relief, however, when he returned to her and held her hand. Twining her fingers through his securely, she exchanged a glance with her lover. Ealdun wasn't near stupid enough to aggravate the slave and remained silent, hands in his pockets as he adopted a relaxed stance.
"You don't have to call me 'master', Decimus," she said gently. "You can call me whatever you want to." In all truth, she would much rather prefer he didn't call her master or mistress, but if it made him more comfortable using those words she wouldn't argue about it. Just hope he'd change it one day. Holding his hand tightly, she reached up and gently moved his free hand away from the symbol, not wanting him to think he had to always be so guarded. "You're safe here, I promise you. Nothing will hurt you when I'm here," Cythoe told him soothingly. She held his hands in hers for a moment before kissing him on the forehead and straightening. "Dinner's ready now, Decimus. You'll have to tell me if you like anything in particular so we can have the chef make it for you," she replied, answering his question as she guided him down the hall. Ealdun fell into step behind them, calmly surveying the pair. Cythoe was a softie at heart and it seemed she was what the slave needed. She'd always been a bit of a healer rather than a fighter, but that didn't mean the male wanted to ever piss her off.
Leading them into the dining room, it wasn't as large as one might expect, though just as grand and beautifully furnished. Plants were everywhere, as they were in most of the rooms, and she settled Decimus into a chair before dropping into her own, letting out a short sigh of relief that nothing else was going wrong. A servant began to bring out the food as Ealdun sat on her other side, the table soon covered with all sorts of dishes, from sweet to sour, spicy and cold and everything in-between. Both fae were able to eat quite a bit and the rest was given to servants, so no food ever went to waste in her house. "Take whatever you want," Cythoe told Decimus with a smile, just so he knew it was fine.

♐ DE CI MU S ♋ K OK OB UN JI ♐ xx ♋ I will serve you xxxx ♋ Until my dying breath xxxxxx ♋ So to my enemies xxxxxxxx ♋ Prepare to die ♐ Decimus felt her fingers intwine his and held her hand dearly, as if feeling that if he let go she would disappear from him. "Mine..." He mumbled, dead eyeing the male. Decimus was surely crazy, and he would use it to his advantage if the male tried anything, but he didn't. 'Smart boy. He would surely get his a** handed to him.' He thought, and listened to Cythoe tell him he didn't need to call her master, which he didn't mind. But he had no idea what to nickname her, so he decided to go with just saying her name. Her name itself was soothing to him. He nodded and stuck close to her, feeling like she was a safezone for him to escape what fears he had. His eyes widened slightly when she moved his hand away from the symbols he was getting close to touching. "She will. She will find a way of getting to me. Even if it resorts to calling up my family and getting things from them. She is resourceful, and that is something scary about her."
He felt her lips against his head and he shut up instantly. His worries disappeared for the moment and he let out a weak smile. She started talking to him about food, and he couldn't think of anything. He had lost most of his happy thoughts when he lived with the one who tortured him, so he had no real recollection of food he used to have. She used to make him eat rats everyday, so that was the only thing he could think of. He wanted to kill that woman, but she was long gone. Cythoe was in his mind now, and he was happy to have her with him. They started walking, and as he heard footsteps behind them he shot back a glare to Ealdun. He looked back to Cythoe and looked into her eyes for a moment, then returned his gaze to what was infront of them. When they got into the dining room he smelt food and his mouth started watering, wondering what they had.
When she placed him in a chair and sat down, he scooted close to her, feeling secure. She told him to take what he wanted, and all he took was a bread roll. No butter or anything to put on it, and just started nibbling on it. When he was done his stomach still kept growling, so he just grabbed another bread roll and started eating it. When he figured he couldn't fill up on bread he grabbed a piece of meat and stared at it for a bit, seeming to inspect it. He took his index finger and thumb and held onto a piece of Cythoe's shirt, and pointed at the meat, wondering what it was.

It's because they have tried to blend into the world before, and people continue to disappoint them.” x The female was completely oblivious to the glares the Decimus was giving Ealdun and thought nothing of how he was clinging to her, as he had been doing that since she had met him at the shop. She was too busy thinking over what he said about the woman she had to deal with and what to do about her. It wasn't going to be easy, Cythoe was sure of that, and she had already bolstered the magic around her home and estate grounds, as well as let the fairies know to be on guard and looking out. She wasn't the only magical creature on the estate - besides Ealdun, there were several other fae that came and went, as well as dryads, fairies, sprites, and other nature spirits that were more than content to keep her land beautiful and lush in exchange for a safe haven in a world being overrun with technology and humans.
She watched as he ate the bread and nothing else, frowning a bit, but not going to force him to eat. After what he had been through, the fae assumed he might not be able to even eat normal food for a time, having to grow used to it again. It was a thought that angered her and she hoped to get her hands on at least one of the people that had hurt Decimus so. It would be a good lesson - and good exercise for a fae who rarely indulged in the darker side of her magic. As it was, she looked over at him in surprise when he gripped her shirt and gestured to the meat. She wasn't about to address table manners just yet, used to all sorts of things. "That would be..." She trailed off, glancing at the other fae.
"Lamb," Ealdun confirmed with a nod, having several pieces of his own. He was keeping an eye on the slave, having easily gotten the hint. He considered Cythoe his and wanted Ealdun to back off. Well, the kid was in for a surprise then if he thought he was going to get the beautiful fae all to himself, he thought, amused rather than angry.
Looking back to Decimus, she gave him a smile. "You can try it. You don't have to finish if it you don't like it, so go on and eat what you want," Cythoe told him gently. It was only his first day here and she was just glad nothing had been destroyed yet.

♐ DE CI MU S ♋ K OK OB UN JI ♐ xx ♋ I will serve you xxxx ♋ Until my dying breath xxxxxx ♋ So to my enemies xxxxxxxx ♋ Prepare to die ♐ Decimus eyed the lamb infront of him, picking up a fork. He picked a piece up and placed it in his mouth, his teeth changed shape, splitting into three rows of razor sharp needles. As his teeth caught the meat, he pulled it off the fork and shifted his jaw, shredding the meat apart. As he ate a few more pieces, it didn't agree with him. The meat was too different for his stomach, and it felt as if his body was trying to reject the meat. He held his stomach, and hunched his body over the table. 'Kill me now. Something end this pain.' He thought, dazing out for a minute. It took him a few minutes, but he lifted his head. "I'm fine... Please continue your dinner..." He mumbled, moving his hand over and letting it slump to his side. He laid his head back down on the table, keeping his face out of sight from Ealdun and Cythoe.
His breathing was abnormal, but he tried to hide it from her. His teeth went back to looking normal, except as they did he felt something crawl up his throat. He grabbed a napkin and spat into it, seeing his blood and not throw-up. He slid the bloody napkin into his pocket, and whatever came up he tried swallowing up. 'Was I poisened? What the hell is happening to me? What the hell is going on!' He thought, and felt too much blood come up his throat. The food tasted fine, but it was distorting his stomach. He couldn't swallow it, and coughed a bit of blood on the table, while still not moving his head. There was no hiding it, since it was in clear view. He lifted his head and whipped a bit of blood off onto his sleeve, and grabbed a bit of salad.
He brushed some on his plate, and used his fork to pick some up. He tried eating, but it just kept hurting him more and more, making for some reason more blood to travel up his throat. He kept putting napkins to his lips and letting the blood soak up, but he had to stop eating, or else it would kill him. He placed the fork on the plate, and moved his hands on his face. A dark light glowed in his hands, and manifested his fox mask, which he then placed over his face. He didn't want to be looked upon with pity. He slinked out of his chair and went under the table, getting on what darkness he could and curled up into a shivering ball.

It's because they have tried to blend into the world before, and people continue to disappoint them.” x Busy with her own food, Cythoe only kept half an eye on her slave as he ate, not noticing how he changed his teeth. Ealdun did and was a bit alarmed. What sort of thing had she brought home anyway? His worry only grew when the creature suddenly hunched over like he was in pain and his eyes narrowed. There was something clearly wrong and Cythoe was obviously worried. She'd stopped eating and had a hand out as if to touch Decimus, but was hovering just a bit away as if she didn't want to touch and startle him. Both their eyes went wide when he spat blood up on the table. Without even needing to be told, Ealdun simply disappeared from view to get the healer while Cythoe got up from her chair, clearly distressed. She didn't know what sort of food he'd had to eat before and didn't know what was causing such a violent reaction to something she had thought was fairly normal and wouldn't make him sick.
When he went under the table, she got down on her knees and pulled him out, ignoring any struggles he might give her. Holding him tight against her, Cythoe ignored any blood that stained her clothing and looked up as her lover reappeared with an older fae, one with cropped silver hair and violet eyes hidden behind glasses. "What is he?" the new fae asked, crouching down next to them and frowning a bit.
"I...I'm not sure," Cythoe admitted worriedly. "He just...he ate a bit of the lamb and now he's bleeding for some reason," she said, sounding a bit hysterical. Ealdun frowned, not liking hearing her that way and not liking the creature that was causing her to be so upset, either. The healer just nodded and placed a hand that was glowing faintly white over Decimus' stomach while the other fae held him.
"Liquid diet for now," he said, pulling his hand away after a minute. "Nothing heavy. I healed the damage, but whatever was in his diet before has hurt his insides tremendously. You'll have to be careful and work him up to normal food very slowly, otherwise it could kill him," the fae said, getting to his feet. He patted Cythoe on the head, who looked like she was about to cry, and then patted Decimus on the head as well before disappearing.
Ealdun stepped forward, sighing. "Let me take him to his room, Cici. You're overworked."
Getting to her feet, she held onto the slave and shook her head. "Just...get it cleaned up," she ordered, her voice shaky a bit. "I'll take care of Decimus and get him washed up," Cythoe added, clearly not going to listen to any arguments. The other fae just sighed and nodded as she left the room and strode down the hall, cooing softly to the male she was carrying. Thank the gods she was stronger than she looked, since he was as big as her.

♐ DE CI MU S ♋ K OK OB UN JI ♐ xx ♋ I will serve you xxxx ♋ Until my dying breath xxxxxx ♋ So to my enemies xxxxxxxx ♋ Prepare to die ♐ As Cythoe pulled him out he flinched a bit at her touch, feeling her pull him into her chest he rubbed his head against it in affection and in sickness. She was like his savior, not giving up on him no matter how strange and bothersome he was. He watched as the fae healed him, but the pain lingered. It made him chuckle slightly when nobody knew exactly what he was, but since nobody asked nobody would learn. He ignored what people were saying around him, holding onto Cythoe. His mask soon blackened out his sight, as it was supposed to do. He moved his hands to her back and held her to him, and felt as she got up, trying to get up with her. He wasn't going to be fully useless, and cared upon constantly. He moved himself off her, and struggled to stand up, falling against the wall, but using it to support himself. His mask started cracking, not having enough energy to keep it perfect. He moved over to her and placed a hand on her shoulder, keeping himself upright as she led him somewhere.
He wasn't bothered at where ever she was taking him, since he trusted her, unlike his older masters. After a minute his mask cracked again, almost down the middle. His sight started coming back, and his mask cracked again, this time it completely shattered, and disintegrated into the air. "I have to relax. And regain some of my power I lost, or I won't be able to protect you Miss Cythoe." He mumbled, hoping she heard him, and slightly hoping she didn't. As he was curious as to where they were going, he decided to ask. "M-miss Cythoe, can I ask something? Where are we going? And...sorry to disrupt your meal... I will try to not have it happen again." He spoke, feeling a bit sad that he messed up her dinner. "I-I didn't mean to. I don't know what happened. I was eating, and it didn't feel right. When I started spitting up blood... I tried hiding it so you wouldn't worry. I-I-I don't want to be a burden on you anymore. Since you do so much for me already..."
He mumbled, hanging his head low. "The lady that had me last... a Miss Sicowi Valdamin... She said she didn't want to waste any money on me, so she just fed me the rats that came in her basement. That might be why I can't eat people food. Im used to eating diseased vermin." He mumbled, holding his stomach a bit, remembering the horrid memorys. He remembered the last thing she said to him. She said that she would be back for him in time. But she never said how long she would be, but plenty of time has passed since then. "I...I remember something. She told me that all her test proved valid, and she would be back for me in time. She said I survived all her torture, so she could still find out and do more once she came up with new ones. Just like my wife, I think she may come after me. She said I was like nothing she had seen before. Alien mixed with earthly races. She was the only one who could keep my wife out. She was smart...too smart. I may... have to kill her if she shows up. I can't let that woman, or the other, to cause any harm to one who has been so kind to me. So, if the time comes, and I do release my strongest form, I want you to run. Don't be a hero. I beg you. It would take some time to run out of energy for that form. And it is something so horrible, so evil, I don't want you to see it." ┏ ┘ ┏ ┘ ┏ ┘┏ ┘ ┏ ┘ ┏ ┘ ┏ ┘ ┏ ┘ xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx xx xx ┏ ┘ ┏ ┘ ┏ ┘ ┏ ┘ ┏ ┘ ┏ ┘ ┏ ┘ ┏ ┘
