Asclepius had had a tremendously long day. Week, really. Work had been immensely stressful, and ... for some reason, henshining up into this senshi form and visiting her homeworld had seemed like an attractive idea for a way to relax. Besides, there were some things she had been meaning to take to Asclepius for some time, and maybe now she could stop making excuses.

She sat on the edge of a tall roof for the moment, with her camping lanterns and broom at her feet. The Senshi of Medicine rested her elbows on her knees, fingers steepled with her chin balanced on the tips of her index fingers. Hazel eyes studied the night sky, picking out the brightest stars that were still visible through the light pollution from the city below.

Then she stood, starting to take out her senshi phone, when she realized there was someone nearby.

Tian wandered aimlessly around the city. She knew if there was anyone that needed protecting, she'd be there, but the feelings of being more powerful confused her. Sure, she had been learning to fight and to defend herself, but was she deserving of this power? There wasn't much she could do minus continuing to go to school as well as protecting whom she could. "There's no way I'm letting people suffer as I did before. Now, I can do something about it!"

She smiled slightly to herself, happy that her confidence in this 'world' was growing. Eventually, she would become a doctor and she could help people without having to power up. There were still many mixed feelings, where part of her was still against it all for what she was put through and the other part where she wanted to fight for the 'regular' people to protect them from that.

For the most part, the night was quiet. Tian was happy about that part and was even more so when she ran into another energy signature like hers. Both a Senshi and a Super. She smiled and waved from the bottom of the building as she scaled her way up the fire escape.

Tian had never seen this Senshi before, but was grateful for a new acquaintance, someone that would and could fight among her. She waved she approached the Senshi. "What are you doing all alone on this rooftop tonight?"

Asclepius had already had some time to settle into the whole "super" thing. It was not something she thought much of at this point - she had greater powers now, but she had already felt a strong responsibility as a senshi, and her rank made no difference to her now.

She looked to the other senshi when she popped up the fire escape, quirking one brow but neither smiling nor frowning.

"Hello," she said. "I was about to take care of some chores, actually." The Senshi of Medicine gestured down to the bags between her feet with her open flip-phone, then upwards to the stars.

There was a pause; Asclepius felt it begin to grow awkward, so she went ahead and asked, "How about you? What are you up to tonight?"

Tian smiled as she looked over the Senshi. She had to admit to herself that her outfit was rather cute, and looked warmer than hers with the long skirt. Overall though, Tian felt like she was pretty. She held out a hand to the Senshi and introduced herself. "I'm TianGuan, or just Tian. I'm the Senshi of Masks, and recently Super!"

She probably sounded a little more excited than she felt about the last part.

"What do you need to do? Do you need help bringing these bags somewhere?" Tian was curious since it was the middle of the night and on the top of a building. "I'd be glad to help if you needed it!"

Tian nodded and smiled. "I haven't really been doing much tonight anyways. I came out to patrol, but overall nothing has really come up until I found you.

Switching her phone to the other hand, Asclepius reached out with her now-freed right hand to accept the handshake. "Asclepius, Senshi of Medicine," she replied, then added, "Also super. Been there a little while."

A small smile tugged at the corner of her mouth at the other girl's eagerness to help. "I'm just taking some things up to my planet. If you want to come, I guess, that's fine. Asclepius the rock is still kind of a huge mess, but I'm working on cleaning things up."

The brown-haired girl made a face, then laughed lightly. "Not planning to do any cleaning today, though, really, so there's no danger of me making you help if you want to join me tonight."

She extended her right hand again for Tian, ready to dial them both up into space if she accepted the invitation.

"I've never been to someone else's home. I've only been to my star!" Tian was more than a little excited today. It was either because she met someone new or that she was invited to see a new place. "I'd love to help you, even if it means cleaning."

There was always a lot of cleaning to do at her apartment because of her beloved dog, so Tian would not mind if there was more to clean. Plus, making another 'rock' pretty would be good too!

Tian reached for Asclepius's hand and grasped it tightly. "I'm ready, I think!" She had only done this once before, with her own phone and well... Never traveled with anyone else.

She dialed, and with surprising suddenness, the pair of girls and the camping lanterns and brooms were in a hallway.

It was stone on three sides, the floor polished to a shine in two parallel lines as though it had been done over time by pedestrian traffic. The solid wall was broken at regular intervals by doors; most of them were shut tight but one further along was partway open. The opposite wall was a series of windows, stretching from below waist-level to near the top of the ten-foot or so ceiling. The glass was mostly clear, save for where dust frosted the corners. On the other side: blackness. Compared to the inky dark of space outside, the hallway was dimly lit, but it was difficult to tell where the light was coming from. It was as though the ceiling offered a sterile white ambient glow all on its own.

Both before and behind the two senshi, this hallway stretched like this as far as they would be able to see, meandering back and forth before curving out of sight.

"Oh, God," Asclepius breathed, releasing Tian's hand before sinking to her knees. "Give me a second, it's always hard work to bring stuff," she added, working to catch her breath. For a few moments, she was quiet save for light panting, grasping the broom handle for support. Then, somewhere within the asteroid, there was a distant hum of machinery coming to life, like an air conditioner or furnace starting miles away.

When the Senshi of Medicine had recovered enough to stand again, she rose, and offered a camping lantern to the other girl. "It'll get dark when we go deeper inside, but leave the lantern off until we need it to save the battery please."

She looked up, then down the hallway, and frowned. "I want to get to the great hall, but this ring hall looks basically the same all the way around. Not sure which way will be quicker." Then, realizing perhaps more explanation was in order, the brown-haired girl offered, "Welcome to Asclepius. Great hall is a big room in the middle, and we are looking for one of the interior hallways that leads to it." She pointed to the flat wall of doorways. "Eventually, this wall will open up to a hall going in, and we'll be able to tell it's the right hall because it has columns on either side with snakes coiled around them."

Of course there could be other halls with similar columns, but so far the only ones she had seen lead into and out of the hall in question.

Tian was just as amazed as when she first saw her home star. It was unbelievable all the things that were in outer space that she, and most people, didn't know about. Even though she wasn't that proud of being a 'powered' being sometimes, learning and experience other worlds was something else.

All the windows and doors... It was like stepping into a palace fit for a royal family. Then again, from what she had learned, they were all royalty, just needed to prove themselves worthy of the title, something that she was definitely not ready for.

She had to admit, it did remind her of the time she was at the Surrounding and well, died, but luckily she had been better about accepting what happened and just moving on.

With her excitement, she hadn't noticed how tired Asclepius was. Tian remembered the first time she traveled and it was tiring, but this time, another person and cargo was brought. "Oh dear... Why don't you lean back against the wall, or even against me?"

Tian was glad it didn't take Asclepius long to recuperate, but she was definitely still worried. It was just energy that space travel took and nothing else right?

She was glad to take the lantern and walked behind Asclepius. "Just tell me when!"

"And thank you for the welcome! I'm excited to see this place... It looks gorgeous. Do you know anymore about these halls? Or the history? I know the first time I went to my star I had.. Feelings?"

"One nice thing about being promoted to super is that it makes travelling a little easier," Asclepius replied with a momentary smile. She always slept hard after visits to space. Or at least once she actually fell asleep; the first few visits had provoked nightmares that had made earlier stages of sleep more difficult to get through.

Picking a direction, she shrugged and started walking. The hazel-eyed girl was just glad she had the broom to lean on for the moment. Besides, in spite of Tian's offer, the Senshi of Medicine felt like it would be imposing to much to go leaning all over another girl she had just met.

"I guess the white polished stone does make it look kind of royal in a pristine kind of way," Asclepius admitted, looking upwards as she walked as though appraising the ceiling anew. "I honestly have not had a chance to map it or anything, even mentally, because each time I come up here, I kind of end up in a different place. Most often somewhere in the great hall, but not this time, apparently."

She eyed one of the partially-open side doors warily as they passed, but it was too dark within the room to see anything inside. Asclepius elected to draw no attention to it, and kept walking at the same pace. "Occasionally I see ..." How to describe it? "Something moving, like someone at a distance waving to get my attention, but that's all I've really had in terms of the 'feelings'."

Both girls' footsteps echoed softly in the stone hallways. Asclepius shrugged again. "Someday I'll try to explore more thoroughly, I guess, and learn all the hallways a little better. As it is now, this ring hall basically all looks the same to me."

"Bringing me and the other stuff probably made it a lot harder, huh? I'm sorry about that." Tian felt guilty; the first time she was at her star, she had ended up tired, but not as tired as Asclepius was. Could people die from space travel like this? Sure, they were above-average humans now, but still!

Tian followed her guide dutifully, hoping that she could help in any way that she could. She noticed that the broom was being used as cane, and Tian was glad that she could at least keep herself up. If anything were to happen, Tian would come to her aid.

"This place is gorgeous, really! I don't know how else I would describe it. Haha..." Tian loved looking at everything. She walked slowly past some of the columns, touching her hands to them. Though saw its beauty, it was kind of sad to see how empty it was, just like that of her own 'home'. "It would definitely be neat to see more of this place!"

As she walked, she accidentally brushed her fingers against a gorgeous glass vase. Tian froze as her mind glanced back to something. She saw a snapshot of a busy market place... That looked like her home star? The vase was in it along with two people... One gifter and one recipient?

Tian snapped back to reality and blinked at Asclepius. "We're only supposed to get 'memories' from our own homes right? Why do I see something with this vase?" She was utterly confused, but somehow, felt like there was another connection between her and Asclepius besides today.

(( I hope this is okay xD I haven't exactly typed everything out yet, but TianGuan [Zeta Tauri] is actually a binary star, one is similar to Venice and exports in fine glass work and clothing/accessories while the other star exports stuff in medicine/healing. So I thought a vase from one of the stars would work x"D ))

"Really, it's fine," the brown-haired girl reassured her travelling companion. "Considering I got two people and a handful of items into space with just my cell phone, I would say that's pretty good. No rockets required or anything like that."

Gradually the Senshi of Medicine became less reliant on the broom for steadiness, and lifted it to rest the shaft on one shoulder while she walked instead. "Yeah, I wonder how long it took them to carve all these hallways, you know? Like, there's a statue of my past self in the great hall, and he looks exactly like a Greek god, without any modern-looking medical tools. But on the other hand, there is some kind of magic generator system in here." She gestured with one finger up and down the hallway. "There are some kind of air conditioner things that turned on when we showed up, which you might have heard. They're pretty quiet.

"But I guess basically, I'm not sure where between 'ancient herbal medicine' and 'the AC still works after a millennium' the digging technology here was when they built the place."

When TianGuan stopped, Asclepius stopped as well, turning to face her. Her lips parted to ask if the other girl was okay, but then she caught sight of the glass vase. "Oh, that's different."

She looked to the light-haired girl, brows drawing together as she asked with mixed concern and curiosity, "You recognize it?"

Asclepius had a point. Tian couldn't imagine having to fly into space in a rocket with all that pressure on you when trying to get out of the atmosphere. It sounded like it was horrible even though astronauts trained for months to be eligible to go out there in the first place. At least their method of travel was easier. "That's very much true," she responded with a laugh.

Tian was very amazed at what she was being told. 'An old statue.." She had explored a piece of her home, but probably not the main; there was still nothing she knew of her 'past-self' and it was kind of saddening. Tian was glad she could learn about another's though.

And the fact that past!Asclepius might have known the past!TianGuan.

"Well, maybe their concept of time is different? I mean... These walls look like they can be ancient Rome right? But they definitely didn't have air conditioning. As a civilian, I was stuck in the Surrounding for a while too... Their buildings were also very old themed but everything worked like modern day Earth."

She glanced back at the vase as she moved to catch up with Asclepius. "I don't know it, per se... But I saw something? I think it might have been the past!you and the past!me on my home star..." It was a very confusing yet interesting thought. "I mean, it does look like pieces I saw at home, but still... It feels odd."

"Oh, yeah, I don't know about time at all, compared to Earth," she replied. She shifted her grip on the light, and pinched the fabric of her flowing skirts between two fingers for the sake of showing off the pleats and how they fell like Greco-Roman robes. "I mean, even now some of us look like we took fashion tips from a history book."

She sighed. "So who knows, really, how technology and all works for senshi."

At the mention of the Surrounding, Asclepius gave the other girl a sympathetic look. "I saw a bit of the Surrounding, but I didn't stay long, unfortunately," Asclepius admitted with a touch of reluctance. "And I haven't visited anyone else's planets yet." Then she shrugged. "It seems like we were interconnected enough in the past, though. I mean, 'we' in general. This is not the first time I've acted as a tour tide here, and I think one or two others have seen familiar things."

The two girls turned a slight corner, and one of the snake-circled columns Asclepius had mentioned before came into view. The Senshi of Medicine smiled a little and pointed ahead with the broom handle. "There we go. Unless this is a new hall I haven't seen yet, that one should lead into the great hall. And I guess I can show you the statue of old Asclepius with the beard."

Tian was pretty sure that life just liked to throw Earth a lot of curve balls. "Well, the human race on Earth was never really good at surviving some things... So maybe what we have on our stars was on Earth before... Just everything disappeared with time?" It was a farfetched idea, but at the same time, there was still things that couldn't be explained, like the great Wonders of the World.

"As a Senshi and not a civilian, I suppose?" Tian shivered slightly at the thought of being there. For the most part, when there was no fighting, everything seemed fine... But with that last fight and actually dying... It was something pretty hard not to remember. She had been better with it more recently, not letting it bug her as much, but it was still haunting.

Memories was something that could be lost with time, but Tian was happy that she could understand at least a little with the images that flashed in her mind. "I think that's wonderful others, including myself, have seen memories here! I'm pretty sure what people can get off their home 'rocks' are not complete. Maybe I can bring you to mine some time?"

She followed Asclepius and looked in the direction she pointed in. Everything seemed even more grand and wouldn't be surprised if they were in the right place. Even if they were not, this place was definitely worth the effort to see. "I'd love to see that statue.. And hopefully understand what links us together more."

As they turned down the hallway between the pair of ornate columns, the pale light of the outer hall quickly faded. From the entrance, the two girls would only be able to see perhaps twenty feet ahead. Asclepius switched on her light as they started down the hall.

"Sure, if you want," Asclepius replied. "I mean, only if you want to show me your world." She had had her share of guests here on the hospital planet, but she could understand that not everyone might want others on their planets. Especially if other worlds had creepy corners like Asclepius did. Having never visited anyone else's world, she was admittedly curious about how, say, the homeworld of the Senshi of Masks compared, apparently producing fine glasswares. But it was not a curiosity that was eating her up, particularly.

"What's your planet like?" she asked after a stretch of silence, for sake of conversation as they made their way down the dark hall. The ceiling was higher here, arched and just barely within reach of their lanterns' light. The two girls could walk side by side with a comfortable stretch of space on either side.
