He's not a man of fashion or that crappy frou frou stuff that some men would do to their hair. His hair is dark brown in the cut of the Caesar hairstyle; cut short along the sides and a little length on top and styled forward. He has also grown a full beard that he keeps it well trimmed.

His eyes are of a dark forest green color, stern, and intense to stare in them.

Mordecai is a muscular man and obtained a light tan from the outdoors. But his body is covered in scars, most of them from once being in jail with the cell mates. But he has one gruesome scar that is jagged across the left cheek which he obtained from his new boss on the very first day of the job. It makes him even more of a scarier man.
Outfitxxx
The normal attire for the doctor's assistant is a pair of grey trousers with black leather boots, a white button up shirt, and a forest green vest. Whenever he goes out, he has his forest green cutaway coat slipped on and buttoned up although he prefers it to be off as it feels tight on him. His sleeves are always rolled up above his elbows whenever he's at his job in seeing the patients and in examination of them.

Before he went to prison, he was a man who enjoyed his status and power. Being in a family of well known and respected doctors did set them up higher in the social status and Mordecai enjoyed it. He savored it. His intelligence and upbringing brought about a manipulative nature as he twist his words to bring about confusion to his victims being absolutely cunning. Sometimes it's for sheer humor of their stupidity and sometimes it's for his own gain. Mordecai is a determine man who will do absolutely anything to achieve his goal; even if it means making a few sacrifices along the way. He hates to be proven wrong, but one night he was when he was caught in a raid when he was gambling in the underground world of Palisade. Being pressed charges for gambling and also finding records of buying time with prostitutes has sent him to jail. It was during his time in prison that he slowly changed for the better or else he will die. His talents have been put to the better, but given in a more moody way. But with good behavior in prison (he's been a doctor inside) has earned him his freedom faster. When he enters society again, he changed his last name to break ties with his family and to start out his own life again. From the endless search for a job, he finally found one being the assistant of Dr. Crow . . . which happens to be his death sentence with the insane doctor who gave him the scar across his face on the very first day of the job. The man does want to gamble at night and wants to enjoy his life but he does have to try his best as he takes care of his boss.

She happens to be a bit of an old soul despite her young age. Kalmia is a very calm and laid back in her nature that anything rarely frazzles or startles her that will make her hooves quiver. She's very slow paced but prefers it rather than the fast life as she enjoys her life. What the other guardians might see her as is a grandmother who is loving, caring, and . . . slightly senile. Her mind is not the sharpest as she'll nag at those other young bucks and does but she does mean well. She has her moments of brilliance as she will part with her words to others. With her Chosen, she certainly does act more like a grandmother who keeps her eye on her mischievous grandson. But she does give an outsider's opinion on things as she bite on his sleeve to give it a tug to get his attention. When Mordecai is with her, it does bring him a moment of relaxation and learns to enjoy his life rather than suffer through his situation now. He is lucky and she makes him remember that.
