Welcome to Lucian's humble abode. In the middle of dense forestry, the small cottage-like structure can be found. Well away from the touches of civilization, while still close enough to travel to humanity if necessary and desire, the cottage stands alone touching a small lake, and is shaded by tons of trees. Upon entry, one would find themselves in a cheery little entry, with some sun reaching the floorboards. Both bedrooms are on the first floor. his companion's room towards the front in a light and airy space, while Lucian's Room is towards the back of the house. The first floor also holds a nicely devised kitchen.
Traveling further, one would find a staircase leading to a small basement. Below, there is the Living Room with all one needs for entertainment as far as electronics, a small fireplace, and even comfortable seating and blankets to keep warm. In the basement, there is also the small bathroom for the house.
Surrounding the whole little home is dense forestry and a few small caves here and there for when Lucian cannot bear the walls of his home as a man. A small lake also laps at the land before the front door, giving a peaceful touch to the whole place.

The sun was setting in such a blissful state that it was hard for the stag to shift his eyes from the glorious sight. Instead, he stamped his hooves against the soft grass that lined the earth beneath him, reminding himself of the loyalties and responsibilities he had back at home. He couldn’t simply race off into the sky, as if he were some bird. Oh no. He would never reach the sun. He was an earthbound male, and that was satisfactory enough for him. This was a rational enough thought, but not one that would be made by an animal, who was driven by instinct. A normal stag would never have even marveled at the sun more than to acknowledge that it kept time for the day. An animal would not think it could fly into the sky like another animal. No. That was not a complexity that animals bothered themselves with. This was a humane thought. One that belonged only in the minds of humans. Of course, that brought to question how this particular stag could think of such things, just standing and admiring the scenery out in the open without any fear or hesitation. What almost no one knew, was that this particular stag was not just an animal. He was indeed, also, a man. A human man that shared a small home with the woods, not far from where he was currently spending his time as an animal. The small cabin promised to be filled with food, warmth, and clothing upon his return, made comfortable living for the male. There just happened to be another being inside this cabin. A female. One that was quite beautiful and captivating, and that was before one knew her true nature as an oracle. She had been taken from the heavens to live her long, eternal life on earth, predicting futures and possibilities. Of course, the male liked to think that the sole purpose of her deliverance to earth was for his being, but he would never admit such. After all, she had been trapped and kept on earth for much longer then his existence at three-fold. However, neither time, nor divide could keep Lucian Padfoot from the graciousness he had for the blessing he had been giving in the gift of his beautiful Chiemi. With a few more strides, and just as many moments, the blonde stag romped around the meadow, rushing back and forth to burn off any animalistic energy and desire he had dwindling within himself. He needed to rid himself of all the animal essence that he could before he went home. He would be horrified if he went back and did some sort of debasing animal maneuvers in front of his oracle. Of course, he knew, deep down in his heart, that Chiemi would not judge him or hold his actions against him, but he didn’t want to take any chances that she might. Or at least, he hoped she would feel that way. Doubt started ton cloud his mind and his steps faltered for a moment before he forced himself to stop moving. Warmth blossomed in his body at the thought of the lovely maiden waiting at home for his return, and as the last rays started to filter through the green canopy that surrounded him, Lucian forced his body to tighten, beginning the shift back into a man, as he let the animal part of him start to dissipate. Bones worked to become more dense, some stretching, some shrinking, muscles contracted and shifted their shape and size as well. The entirety of the process was rather discomforting, but once it was complete, a pale skinned, blonde male stood naked, panting breathlessly as he opened his weaker human eyes to the dying light of day. Without embarrassment, Lucian strode purposefully to where he had stashed his clothing in the small space that had once been a fox hole on the skirt of the meadow. Of course, the hole had long been abandoned by it’s inhabitants, which was the only reason Lucian would put his clothing there to keep it safe. He would never oust an animal from their home for his own purposes.
Once he was dressed again, the male walked the circumference of the meadow, dedicating his focus to the foliage as he gingerly selected stems to make a small bouquet of wildflowers for the maiden back home. It took a few minutes, to gather the proper bunch, and then to arrange them carefully, tying them together with a few hearty blades of sweet grass. When he was satisfied with the bundle, he began the short trek back towards his cottage and sanctuary in the woods. By the time he reached his gentle fortress, there was only the tiniest hint of color left in the sky. The colors were dark, deep blues and purples, not yet ready to surrender to the black of night. Starts were out and reflecting in the gentle, calm shores of the lake that acted as an entrance to the cottage. Reflected lights from the cottage windows danced merrily across the glassy surface of the water, creating a mischievous picture of what might be awaiting the animagus inside. Smiling, Lucian straightened himself up, arranging his clothes so they didn’t look so rumpled, and checking over the bunch of flowers, making sure they were still satisfactory, Luke made his way up to the front door. Hesitating only a moment, he opened the door to see within. He started the short walk down the entrance hall, looking instinctively for the treasure that would be waiting for him within. His beautiful Chiemi was here, and he couldn’t wait to see her. The only question was, where was she hiding?
Thee was a possessive need to have his female with him. Part of it, if he was truly honest, had to be animalistic, but the other part of that was just the care he had for her after spending the months they had together. He was rather possessive, a fact that he tried to hide from her, but probably still reared it’s ugly head now and then. He hoped desperately that she didn’t mind his caring. He tried greatly not to smother her with his affection and his desire to keep her safe inside. He was simply overjoyed that after years of ostracism, there was someone he could come home to and spend time with. Chiemi didn’t seem to mind what he was. He had told her that he was an animagus, and she had not condemned him. He still had been reluctant to show himself to her, but eventually, he would have to. He was wrapped up in keeping her safe, protected, and around, that he occasionally forgot that it might all be too stifling for her. He wouldn’t let anyone take away his treasure either. Not a single person would cause harm to his oracle. A pang of guilt hit him, as he knew he was being possessive again. At least he wasn’t speaking all these notions aloud. That would surely be stifling to Chiemi. He sighed gently and shook his head. She was here with him now, and that was all that mattered Any other claims would be considered irrelevant. He wouldn’t let Chiemi go to anyone else, not unless she wanted to go herself. No one would take her, or force her ever again.
Reaching the kitchen, Luke frowned Where was she? Concern started to course through him. She should have come in. Was she downstairs? If so, why hand’t she come up? He clutched the flowers tighter, trying to keep calm. He was over reacting no one had been in his woods today. He would have sensed them, right? If danger had been coming, Chiemi would have told him, wouldn’t she? And if she sensed it after he left, she would have hidden away, or found a way to come to him, wouldn’t she have? He sucked in some more air, looking about desperately. He didn’t want to be lost. He was overreacting. Maybe he hadn’t let all of his animalistic senses flee, for this was surely more animalistic anxiety than human anxiety. ”Chiemi, darling? Are you home? Where are you?” He tried to keep his voice calm, knowing that his anxiety was irrational, but where was his pretty oracle?

Sitting in the warm little basement room of her home, Chiemi lifted her eyes to look at the fire she had so carefully started and built. It hadn't taken her long to get the hang of it, and now she was proud of herself. There wouldn't be too many cold nights now, since the flowers were in bloom which meant Spring was beginning to settle in, but there was nothing more relaxing than a nicely crackling fire that blanketed you with it's warmth. Smiling slightly to herself, Chiemi settled herself into the couch a little more and buried her nose back into the novel she'd picked up. Her day had been a rather nice one, pretty easy going and generally stress-free. Lucian had been gone most of the day, so she'd spent it by making sure the house was tidy, checking that they were well-stocked with food, and finally going for a small walk around the surrounding area. Chiemi didn't dare stray far from the place she found comfortable enough to call home, and kept the cosy place well within her sight. Some wouldn't see the point to walking barely 10ft from their home, but they weren't Chiemi. They weren't someone that took every second of time and treasured them. It had taken the oriental woman almost a month before she had the courage to leave the home without Lucian, and another week to tell him that she had sat outside to watch the lake ripple in the winter air. Realising that she had his trust had been a huge turning point for the woman, and ever since that day, she began to spend more time outside, unless it was too cold of course.
Turning a page in her book, a fantasy piece that slightly bordered into the romance genre, Chiemi let her mind wander once again. Cooking had been something Chiemi had always wanted to learn, and ever since Lucian began to leave for longer periods of time during the day, it had given the Oracle more of a chance to practise and learn. Looking up to the roof of the basement room, there was a meal ready and waiting on the stove for when Lucian came home; it was fish based, with plenty of green vegetables and a very oriental style sauce. With a proud little smirk to herself, the short lady shuffled herself into a better position and went back to her book; tonight's meal was the first one she had gotten one-hundred percent perfect and it made her feel so proud of herself. Of course, there was a nagging thought that the man of the house wouldn't like it, but at least nothing was burnt or undercooked. Crossing her ankles and pulling her sari around herself tighter, she began to lose track of time. It had still been early afternoon when she had finished her outdoors time, and the sun was still up when she'd begun to prepare dinner, so how late was it now? Surely she'd hear him come back home? While Lucian was out picking flowers for a surprise present, Chiemi had accidentally dozed off in the warmth of the room. Curled into the corner, she peacefully napped.
Her mind was a little congested with doubts still, but the more time passed, the less the doubts surfaced. The main worry with Chiemi at the moment was Lucian's safety while he wasn't at home. She knew what he was - an animagus - and she figured he left to go roam about in his animals form. While it didn't bother her that she hadn't seen him as a Stag - she knew he'd show her when the time was right - it was the amount of time he spent away. Chiemi hadn't had any visions since the day he found her and saved her, and that's what was beginning to make her feel slightly on edge. The darned slave collar they had given her - they still hadn't figured out how to take it off her - was killing her inside. Not literally of course, but not being able to keep an eye on the man that practically freed her was, well, driving her a little bit insane. Of course, being asleep while thinking about it probably didn't help, since her mind gently wandered across all kinds of possibilities, all thanks to prior events in her life before being sent to the slave markets. As long as Chiemi didn't find Lucian outside his house with a hunting injury, the Oracle knew she could handle anything. Except maybe the lack of visions, but that was just a given considering her circumstances. As her slightly worrying images began to become calmer, happier ones, a sound make her snap awake suddenly. "... Where are you?"
Sitting upright with a slight yelp, her book fell off her lap and onto the floor with a gentle flop. Sliding off the couch and re-wrapping her sari while Lucian wasn't in sight, the Oracle patted her gentle upstyle as she made her way up the stairs; her hair wasn't that important, but she really didn't want to seem like she'd just woken up. "Luke, welcome home. Sorry, I was reading downstairs." Giving a slight smile as if it was nothing he should have worried about, Chiemi folded her hands in front of her and made her way to the kitchen, her rich purple outfit gently rustling with her movement. "I made dinner; white fish with seasonal greens with a sweet chilli and plum sauce. If you don't like it, that's fine. I'll remember not to cook it in the future." Her speech was still rather blunt and to the point, and while it seemed somewhat uncaring, that was just the way she spoke. It was like trying to change her style or hair colour - this was the way she was and it was unlikely to ever change. Turning around with an expectant look on her face, the bright golden eyes of the Oracle settled upon the bunch of wildflowers the blonde male was holding. Staring at them in silence for a moment, the woman felt a slight rush of heat rise to her cheeks. Touching her right hand to it's corresponding cheek, Chiemi felt rather uncomfortable - she hadn't blushed before. Blinking in surprise, it took a few moments for the little woman to finally get some words out. "Are... They... For me?" Chiemi had never been given a gift before, not without a reason behind them; especially not flowers, slaves didn't get gifts like flowers. Logic stated there wasn't any other reason for the man to bring home a bouquet of beautiful flora, so asking if they were for her was okay, right?

His heart was racing and pounding in his chest. Darkness started to swirl at the edges of his vision. It was not weakness that was bringing this upon him, but fear and rage. The fear that he was ashamed of, was quickly turning into displaced rage that would be lashed upon the first person he could get his hand son, if his oracle was not found. Where was she? Why wasn’t she here to greet him as she normally was? His sense of smell had diminished, and he didn’t even notice the dishes sitting on the stove, wafting a delicate, but alluring aroma through the kitchen. He didn’t hear the creaky floorboard of the stair that led form the basement to the main floor. No. Instead, he was consumed by the worry that his Chiemi had been stolen from him while he was out, and he was blaming himself for not leaving her with better protection. He had made too amny assumptions. One, that because their home was so far form civilization, no one would come looking. Two, that his oracle would be able to handle herself if company did come knocking. Three, well, he had just assumed that nothing would happen, and that this would be a normal day. That he would be greeted, as usual, by his oracle, who waited for him to come home when he went out. Of course, ti always broke his heart a little to see her waiting, instead of out there living the time with him, but he also wasn’t yet read to reveal his true nature to her. Not until he knew for certain that he had himself under control. He couldn’t guarantee that currently, so he wouldn’t risk his beloved oracle for anything. Tightening his fist around the flowers, he was getting ready to toss them aside when he heard a soft sound.
The sound of silks sliding across the floor. When his eyes locked upon the sound, he saw his beautiful oracle standing before him. A slight smile graced her face, and few stray hairs hung down from their normal styling, seemingly as if they had fallen out with gentle tugs form unseen force. Maybe she had rested her head, and the static had pulled them out? Luke couldn’t move. He drank her in, trying to think rationally, instead of simply jumping on her and trying to take her form into his arms and crush her body against his own. He didn’t want to leave her alone again. She was too far from him now as she was. His eyes studied her, drinking all of her in. Form her hair, to fingers, to feet, and the gentle way she clutched her sari. When she spoke again, talking about dinner, his nose began to pick up on the delicate ingredients she described. His eyes still didn’t leave the oracle, imagining that if he could just hold her, he could had forgotten about all the things that he had just been panicking about. All the thoughts of someone taking her away from him without his knowing, because he hadn’t protected her well enough. For a moment, he closed his eyes, and let his posture slip a bit; his shoulders sliding forward with relief as he began relaxing. His hand around the flowers loosened, and he nearly dropped them. There was just such a rush of relief that his oracle was unharmed that he had to release the tension he had just built somehow. He smiled tenderly, ready to reach out and stroke her cheek. At this point, he simply needed to touch her, to know that she was real, and standing in front of him.
When she asked about the flowers, he blushed a little, quickly handing them over to her, darkness still kissing his cheeks tenderly. ”O..Oh! Of course. Of course. They’re for you. I’m sorry. I thought of you when I saw them, so I brought them back for you.” He smiled weakly, and placed the flowers gently in her hand, moving to capture her wrist gently, before placing a gentle kiss there. He didn’t think if he tried to kiss her cheek that he would be able to stop. And right now, when she had made dinner, was not the time to sweep her off her feet into some kind of beastly claiming. Maybe he hadn’t finished getting out all of his urges? It was quite possible he had missed one or two, but he wouldn’t make Chiemi fulfill them. Oh no, she was far too precious to fill in those silly desires. Instead, he turned to the meal on the stove and inhaled, taking in the sweet aroma of the dishes she had cooked. The combination as one he had never had before, but it sounded pleasing. He reached into the cabinet and pulled out plates for both of them, and then stopped. Chiemi had cooked the meal, and she knew better how to put the components together. He would allow her to serve it. He smiled gently, and went back into the cabinet for glasses. ”What shall we drink darling? Wine? Or would you prefer water instead?” He beamed up at her, glad to be home, in the presence of his beloved oracle. That was all he truly ever wanted. Maybe next time he would take Chiemi out with him when he went for a walk. At least then he would be assured that no one would steal her away from him without his knowledge.
[i hope this is okay D; I'm so sorry it took so long! D;]

He was tense. Well, not anymore, not after she'd spoken. But Lucian had been tense. Had her reading out of sight been a bad thing? Chiemi had been sure that if he'd smelt the meal it would have proved she was still lingering - she was not the kind of person who would leave a stove on and not be nearby. Even if falling asleep had not been apart of the plan; the couch was just so comfortable and the book had been so good. Standing in front of Luke as he seemed to regain his composure, the fact that he blushed too at the question made her feel less tense and a lot less nervous about her own blushing. Staring at the flowers as they were held out, it felt so different to have a gift presented to you simply because you were thought of, not because they were expecting something from you. Having the flowers pushed gently into her hand, she went to grab them with her free hand, which thankfully had been a good idea for Luke had captured her wrist and brought it to his lips. Turning her eyes away as he gently kissed it, she shut her eyes for a moment. Again, having gentleness and tenderness shown to her was still foreign, hell, everything Lucian did for her was foreign and new, but it wasn't scary anymore. In fact, it was starting to become welcome.
Cradling the flowers as he went to inspect the meal, Chiemi rummaged around the kitchen for a vase. Not finding one, she instead found some tall glasses, and arranging a few on the kitchen's windowsill, she carefully arranged the flowers in such a way that they appeared staggered in heights, while all being in the same sized glass. Hearing a question - what did she want to drink - Chi turned around and faced Lucian. They'd spent the last few months living together getting to know each other, and the entire time she'd only drunk water, or fruit nectar. Maybe tonight she would let down one more wall. "Wine, please. A dry white, if you have one. It will taste better with the meal." The almost nonchalant manner Chiemi answered while finding some deep bowls was probably the biggest hint she was feeling the most comfortable she had been in a long time. It was obvious she'd begun to relax more since arriving at Lucian's little home in the forest, but in this moment as she served up the meal, it was probably the biggest hint that she finally felt at home.
Placing the bowls at the end of the counter where they ate - Chiemi had put her foot down about getting a dining table since she liked the little round area - she took at moment to appreciate the scenario. Face turning serious for a moment, she turned without a word and grabbed one of the flower vases from the windowsill and put it in the middle of the table. Looking to the glasses of wine, the blonde man most likely on edge waiting for her to sit down and finally the food, Chiemi sat down carefully so she didn't mess up her sari and smiled. It wasn't often Chiemi smiled for no reason, but it had begun to increase in frequency. Staring at the rice, the gently poached fish that softly smelled of the coconut milk it was cooked in, and the slightly sweet honey smell of the sweet chili and plum sauce.. Chiemi indeed felt happy. "I hope you like it." She said softly before picking up the pair of chopsticks he'd bought for her as a present - they were a dark mahogany wood, and the Oracle felt a sneaking suspicion he hadn't bought them like he'd said, but crafted them.
With idle chatter - the weather, what she did while he was out - dinner was over and dishes were cleaned in fourty-five minutes, give or take a few moments when Chiemi accidentally splashed Luke with water trying to catch a plate that slid from her fingers. A short burst of surprised laughter lightened the moment, but just like Chiemi's smiles, the laughter only showed itself briefly, but in itself the laughter showed that indeed she was happy. Before Lucian could ask what she wanted to do next, the Oracle blurted out the surprise she had sitting in the fridge. "I made dessert." Looking away and nervously tucking some hair behind her ear, the out-of-character action had clearly surprised even the woman herself. Calming once Lucian had displayed his curiosity about what she made, she met his gaze. "It's an altered version of a dessert I had a long time ago when some Indonesian dignitaries came to one of the palaces I was in. I used the leftover rice flour from the fish cakes, the mangoes and lychees I asked you to get, and some coconut cream to make Eis Cendol." Hearing the asian words roll off her tongue with ease, it seemed that simply talking about the surprise she'd made was bringing out more life in the woman. "Here, I'll get it." Not missing a beat, the woman walked with purpose to the fridge and pulled out two hourglass-shaped glasses filled three-quarters full of coconut cream, with hints of mango slices and funny green coloured 'worms' down the bottom.
"I used the wild mint growing outside to colour the rice flour treats down the bottom, and to flavour them. There's just one last thing to finish them off." Picking up a saucepan that was sitting out the way, the short woman went to and fro from the stove to the freezer and back. Coming back with a small bowl of shaved ice - something she had carefully prepared earlier by slowly freezing water and raking it over with a fork - and a small cup of a sugar syrup made with brown sugar, she filled the glasses up with the ice and poured over the syrup. Looking proud of her creation, she put the bowl and the cup on the other side of the counter and sat back down with Lucian, pushing the glass and a spoon over to him. "It's quite sweet." Was all she said before gently pushing her spoon through the ice to get to the fruit soaking in the cream. Sure it was rather altered to the traditional recipe, but she liked how she had made it hers to present to Lucian. He had been so nice, so kind to her in these last few months, Chiemi figured it was time to do the same back to him. "I knew you'd come home safe." It was a few moments of silence before her voice pipped up, her gaze still on her dessert. "It was the first time in a while I'd seen something in the fire. I saw a dove." Admitting that she'd actually had a slight vision since first meeting him was a big deal, and turning her face to look at the animagus, a drip of sugary coconut cream fell onto her chin. Making a sound of surprise, she wiped it off with her finger, touching her finger to her lips to discretely remove the drip.

The time for panic had ended. His beautiful oracle was standing on front of him, in the flesh, assuring him that she was safe. She’d even prepared a meal, and they were about to sit together and enjoy it. Truthfully, the animagus was overjoyed and quite content. It seemed that Chiemi had been emerging more and more form her shell as of late, and the stag shifter couldn’t complain. When he had taken in the scent of supper, he had thought it to be one of the more special ones he would have. Of course, he was also feeling rather guilty for leaving the woman he cared for locked up in the house all day without a word from him, and without express permission for her to go outside. Of course, it she went just outside the cottage, he wouldn’t have cared, but if she had ventured further, he would have been quite worried. Not only that, but he probably would have known if she had left. At times, like these particular moments, the animagus did feel bad about his chosen isolation. Not for himself, but for his companion. The world did not get to see him, and therefore did not get to see his beautiful companion. He did much prefer keeping his treasure safely hidden from those who would be greedy and try to grab her, but he also did not like that she had no interaction with the world. He had taken her form one cage and forced her into another, all because he couldn’t be honest with himself and who he was. He was unable to have confidence enough to show himself off as the animagus he was, and thus he hid from the world. It was all rather sad, but he had learned the behavior, and would have a hard time breaking it if he decided to go cold turkey.
However, when Chiemi answered about the wine, Luke smiled and nodded, snapping his attention back to the beautiful maiden who was his companion. He moved quickly to a long cabinet and moved to grab a nicely aged white wine to go with their meal per Chiemi’s recommendation. Once he had managed the selection, he went to the cabinet for wine glasses while he watched his woman busy herself with gathering bowls and scooping food into them. He smirked at the idea of Chiemi being his woman. After all, she would belong to no other, as she really didn’t have time to get out and see the world. He kept those selfish thoughts and desires tampered tightly down in the back of his mind. He couldn’t get ahead of himself there. He had to take things slow with his precious oriental beauty. She wasn’t fragile by any means, but he was not certain how she would handle his advances if he let them come. And at the current moment, he wasn’t sure if he would be able to suffuse the carnal, animalistic thoughts that flitted dangerously close to the surface of his mind, begging to come to fruition. Instead, he shook his head and focused on the lovely foreign smells coming from the pots on the stove. Coconut was a definite flavor, as well as something sweet, and something savory. He wasn’t sure how they all tied in together, but he was certain it would be something he had never had the joy of tasting. Though, that was always a strong possibility with Chiemi’s cooking. She’d seen so many places he had not that she always had a memory to tell with the food she prepared. Lucian didn’t mind one bit of course.
He paid close attention to the delicate way she ate her meal, from the rice to the fish, and the sauce that made all the flavors tie in, Chiemi ate with perfect manners. Luke couldn’t help but let his eyes wander as she moved so delicately, like a small bird. He ate his own portion heartily, and much more abruptly. It was not as artistic or beautiful as Chiemi, but he had decent enough table manners to handle himself cleanly. When they finished, he helped with the dishes, insisting that he do most of the work because she had cooked the meal. Of course, she had insisted on helping as well and a plate almost slipped from her fingers. He smiled at the short burst of laughter and wondered when the next time he would see more of it would be. He wished that he could see such joy on her face al the time, but he had a feeling he only dampened her moods on some occasion. With the dishes done, he was about to inquire about what she wished to do next when she announced that she had made dessert. He looked at him, not bothering to hide the surprise that had alighted in his features. He watched as she tucked a piece of hair behind her ear. A nervous gesture he had not seen before. As she explained the dessert, a gentle smile came to his face nad he simply watched her, adoring every little move and fidget she made. She was a perfect woman. Flawless in her beauty, and adorable in the little fidgets she had. He couldn’t help but swoon when she broke down those walls, even if it was by accident. The times when he was able to see the tiniest of imperfections were the times he realized how strong his feelings really were.
When the glass of dessert was put in front of him, topped and finished, Lucian took a few bites and smiled. It really was good, though he wasn’t sure about the green worm like things at the bottom. He knew they wouldn’t be actual worms, but the sight of them alone made him a little wary of what they would actually taste like when he put them into his mouth. He carried on however, making small talk with Chiemi, trying to figure out what they could do next when she said that she’d had a vision. He looked up to her, concerned, wondering if it had brought good or bad news, but it seemed to be good fortunes and vague images of doves. That was better than scary images of death and despair. He gave a chuckle of good humor, preparing to ask what the vision meant when he saw a drop of the syrup fall to her chin. He reached out as she did, taking the drop to her fingertip and then to her mouth. He grabbed her wrists, mid-motion, unable to stop himself and drew her hand back to his own lips, kissing the center of her palm and gingerly letting his tongue dart out to lick any remaining sugary residue from her fingers. When he was finished, he let go of her wrist rather abruptly and smiled. ”Well, darling. After dessert, how about we go downstairs and light a fire, and you can tell me more of your vision and what it means?” He smiled, finishing his dessert and taking the glass to the sink to begin washing it, uncertain what Chiemi’s reactions would be to his kiss and licking. He hoped he had not offended her, but if she was going to be more bold and present in his household he was going to be slightly more up front about his feelings.

Lucian's action surprised Chiemi. She was slowly getting used to the sudden actions the animagus came out with, and the affectionate actions weren't making her feel as uneasy as they once had. The man was a kind soul with no underlying negative motives in his actions, so her initial wariness had worn off. But the sudden grabbing of her wrist had surprised her. A sudden action was not something he did, usually his gestures were gentle, almost fluid like he knew what he was going to do before even doing it. The Oracle pondered for a moment that maybe he didn't let all his animalistic urges free, but all train of thought was stopped when his lips met her palm. Staring at the blonde male, her fingers twitched as he licked the syrup left behind. This, this was an unexpected action. This wasn't something she was used to from him and it made her stomach flutter. Maybe he was starting to be more open with his feelings now she was becoming more open in his house? Perhaps it bought out the best in him; maybe the more she came out her shell and showed how comfortable she was, the more he would open up? It wasn't like it was a bad thing if he was to show his feeling, since they were much better than what she was used to. Lucian was kind, so his actions reflected just how grateful he was to have her in his life. That, was a very nice thought indeed.
Pulling her hand slowly back to her chest - Luke had pulled his hand away abruptly, like he didn't trust himself to linger - and asked a question. Talking about what she'd seen had once been something she didn't like doing, but since this was the first proper thing she'd seen in the last few months, it would be nice to talk about what the doves meant. It was a happy symbol, a rather nice one, so it would probably do the animagus good to hear it's meaning. "I'd like that." Was all she simply said, but the gentle smile on her face showed that she did actually like the idea. Finishing her own dessert not long after Lucian finished his, Chiemi got up and washed her glass out as well. As Chiemi cleaned up after herself, she watched Lucian go light the fireplace. Turning her attention to making sure there was no sticky syrup anywhere for ants to come find, the woman wiped down all the benches and cleaned her hands before thinking of joining Lucian. Looking at the wildflowers he'd given her, a smile crossed her features. This indeed was where she was meant to be, she was sure of it. Everything felt right.
Adjusting her outfit at the top of the stairs - mostly for modesty, since the outfit of choice revealed a large portion of her abdomen - Chiemi slowly made her way down. Lucian had seemed eager to get her to come down, and kneeling on the ground before the fireplace, the Oracle looked to the stag. She had been very reluctant in letting him do certain things; sit close by, cuddle, do a few gentlemanly things, but after getting her first vision in a long time, she felt it was about time she at least let him into her personal space. Sliding off to sit on the ground properly, Chiemi tucked her legs off to the side of her and looked up at Luke. "My Sisters and I used to do this when telling each other tales. We would take turns in resting our heads in each others laps, mostly to conceal who the real Oracle was. I invite you to do the same, to show I trust you and I am thankful to share your home with you." Again her words were incredibly to the point and almost cryptic in a way, but that was just her way. This was also her way of showing Lucian she was open to allowing him to get close to her. It was always a tough decision for any Oracle to let any person into their physical space, especially with what the human race believed about Oracles. It was always best to let the humans believe she'd lose all powers if her virginity was compromised rather than risk them finding out she would only ever see visions pertaining to her lover forevermore.
Patting her legs to show where Lucian should place his head, she waited for the stag to react to her question. Waiting for him to get comfortable, Chiemi placed a hand on his forehead, simply resting it there while looking into the fire. "Doves. They are universally accepted as a sign of peace. Of joy. Doves symbolise peace, so seeing doves was always a good sign for Oracles. Doves, depending on the way they moved, could represent many things." Fingers twitching on Lucian's head, Chiemi continued to look into the fire. "Thanks to.. Well, factors I cannot control.." and for a quick second, Chiemi's free hand went to make a move to touch her collar. "My visions are limited to avoid me seeing things I should not. The dove.. All it did was fly upwards with the movement of the dancing flames. But, even that in itself is a sign. Any object that moves upwards, means that; whatever is going to happen will be in an upwards motion. So, a dove flying upwards, means that peace, joy and happiness will increase over time." Slowly turning her eyes down to look at the blonde male, she blinked slowly. "This means you should not feel unease. Things will only get easier from this point. But still, your cautious attitude is welcomed. Keeping an eye out regardless of the situation, is always the safest and smartest way to go." Hand still resting on Lucian's forehead, she turned her attention back to the fire. "Is... There anything you wish to do this evening?" Chiemi had no idea what to do at this point, she'd told Lucian about her vision, and now she wasn't sure what they should do next.

When Luke got up to wash his dishes, he assumed he would be doing all of them. Of course, Chiemi had cooked the meal, so it was his duty to clean up. And he was more than happy to do that. He didn’t even want his beautiful Oracle companion to lift a finger, but he wondered if he told her not to do anything, if she would feel stifled. Besides, she was a terrific cook. He just didn’t want her to feel obligated to do anything that concerned him. Instead, he washed his dishes and put them away, extending his offer of speaking about Chiemi’s vision. He wondered if that was against some rules, but hopefully she wouldn’t decline. She seemed to be excited about seeing something when for so long she had not. Luke just wished to share that happiness with her. He didn’t know what it was like to have visions, but this one seemed to perk up his companion, and that made him happy. He nodded and excused himself to go light the fireplace, placing little logs in to kindle the fire before throwing on a substantial log to burn throughout the evening and keep them warm. To his own dismay shortly after leaving, he heard the water running. A telltale sign that Chiemi was washing dishes. That was not what he had wanted. He frowned for a moment, ready to go back to stop her, but it seemed she had already been washing while he was lighting the fire. He didn’t want that for her! A bit of stubbornness crossed his mind, but he swallowed it down gently. He couldn’t stifle this beautiful maiden. No. He had to let her do what she wished. After all, if Chiemi had not wanted to wash dishes, she would have left them, right?
He knelt by the fire poking a few sparks back into the grate to keep them off the ground where they could linger and be stepped on. He didn’t want to burn down the cottage, and there was no need for injury this far out of the city. He sensed when Chiemi came down the stairs and his frown vanished. The concern lingered, but when he turned to look at her a smile played across his features, unable to help himself. She was curled gently on the floor, her legs tucked beneath her. Her outfit flowed around her gently and he smiled brighter, enjoying her visage before sitting near her, but not directly against to her. He wanted her to have her space. He did not want to crowd or overwhelm her. Instead he looked at the colors in her garment, taking in the vibrancy with a smile. He would wait until she was ready to being. Except she didn’t. Not right away. Instead, she offered him a place to rest his head. In her lap. He looked at her for a moment, his face showing little signs of surprise. He didn’t want to invade her space. He’d never been…so close. So intimate with his Chiemi. Yet, she seemed to wait for him. He nodded once and gently scooted over to her, placing his head into her lap gently. The way she had spoken, it seemed almost as though it were strange for her as well, and it took a moment or two of adjusting before he was comfortable. He was trying not to make her uncomfortable as well. He was truly terrified of scaring this beautiful companion of his out of the house and into the world where he could not find her. One mistake and that would be it, wouldn’t it? He’d never see her again?
Instead, Chiemi tenderly placed her palm on his forehead and the world seemed to still for a few seconds before falling away into peace. Luke didn’t know if this was what his future held, but this was what he wanted. He knew in that instant, without being crooked or dishonest with himself that he was certain this is what he wanted. A life with Chiemi. A life with this beautiful woman who made him happy, and calmed his nerves, and would accept him. Or so he hoped. What if she didn’t? the doubt started to trickle back in. What if she was insulted by his stag form? What if she though he was disgusting. It was something that he couldn’t make go away. He would always be an animagus. His children might be animagus if he had any. Would Chiemi think him disgusting? When Chiemi started to speak about her visions, Luke tried to calm himself. Doves were a symbol of peace and joy. They had moved upward which spoke of an increase in both in their lives. When Chiemi spoke about his cautious attitude, and how it was appreciated, he turned his gaze up to Chiemi’s brown eyes. They were watching the dancing fire, until they turned to him. Then she turned her gaze back to the fire, but her hand still rested upon his head. What would they do now? That was what she had asked him. He frowned for a moment and touched her hand gently, lifting up his head from her lap. ”You are precious to me Chiemi. I want you to know that. I am so glad that you are my companion.” He released her hand, uncertain what he would do if she let him have it any longer. Instead, his mind went back to earlier in the day.
”I wonder, would you like to go out and see something? I…I have a surprise, and I wonder if you would trust me enough to accompany me out into the woods?” He smiled gently, his mind racing with worry that she might not want to go out so late, but he was excited to show her his findings from earlier in the day. He may even be able to show her up close rather than from afar, given how gentle she was. He only hoped that he would accept her invitation so that he could show her this surprise.

He'd accepted her invitation, which was a good sign. For herself and her sisters, it was a huge exercise of trust, as it was a position of vulnerability; it was easy to end someone's life in that position, as well as easy to capture someone. The woman knew of such occurrences, other oracles from around the world having been captured while resting in the head of someone they thought they could trust, or having their lives ended while allowing someone to rest on them. There would always be lingering wariness in the Oracle for a short time still, the past life as a tool for Emperors not long forgotten, but in this little home secluded in the forest, it was easy to let worries start to disappear. The warmth from having another living being in close proximity once again was alarming at first, but it soon brought back happy memories of the time spent with her Sisters. It was a comfort to have a slice of her old, carefree life again, thanks to Lucian. He was a good person, someone she could hopefully begin to fully trust the more she got to know him. It was also an ease off her mind to know that he felt equally as hesitant at first, but he too seemed to relax when it was clear she had no harmful motives. He was quiet as she spoke, something that was very much respected, and his body language suggested that what she said was interesting to him. Feeling his hand touch hers, she watched him curiously as he sat up, mentioning that she was precious to him. While Chiemi had heard words like this before, it was often followed by a request that went against her moral code and often ended up in the deaths of many people.
Hearing he had a surprise for her, and catching the nervous stutter, she raised an eyebrow. It was evening now, what could he possibly have out in the woods to surprise her? While there was that lingering doubt in the back of her mind that it was a trap, that he was leading her out from the safety of the house to sell her for a high price, or something much worse. Staring him in the eye, he seemed genuine; there was fear in his eyes, that his request wasn't going to be taken seriously, and a hope that she'd accept and trust him. Turning to look in to the fire, she willed with all her soul that the fire would give her a sign. Whether it was a trick or the flames or an actual sign, Chiemi would swear until her dying day that she saw a bird - just like the doves earlier - rise up. It was small, but it was something, and that was what she needed right now. "I will go with you." Turning her golden-brown eyes to his, her passive face seemed to be quite curious to what this 'surprise' was. What was even better, was seeing Lucian's reaction. In her eyes, it was like a slight weight had been lifted off his shoulders, while there was still some lingering worry. Still, he seemed pleased, and excusing herself to grab a heavier shawl to keep herself warm, she agreed to meet him by the entrance. Grabbing a plain black wrap, one that looked like it would be too big for the Oracle, she folded it in half and wrapped herself up to make sure she would stay warm so that Luke wouldn't worry about her. He was a good-natured man, she didn't want to cause unnecessary worry in his life.
Meeting the male at the door in her usual silence, she gave a soft smile to say she was ready to follow him, and allowed him to lead the way. The forest was definitely different at night; it was still beautiful, but in a haunting way. The clear sky, free from the pollution of the city, was brilliant. Finding herself staring up at the night sky for a moment, she had to tear her eyes away and remind herself to follow her master, lest she trip and injure herself. Delving into the tree line, Chiemi found herself unconsciously sticking closer to the taller, stronger man. It made her feel quite horrid to rely on him, no thanks to her past, but she didn't know this forest like he did. It was logical to stay close to someone who could protect her, but with that nagging thought at the back of her mind after many years of being mistreated and used, she couldn't quite silence the voice that was telling her to go back to the cottage, that this was a trap, that she'd die out here. Yet, Lucian wasn't acting like a man about to sell of his newly acquired slave, or about to slaughter her. He was nervous, she could tell, but not the suspicious kind. Not to mention there was something about his smile, an almost childish glee that hinted at the surprise he'd mentioned. Was it a favourite location that looked different at night? Was it some kind of animal that only appeared in the dark? There were many kinds of surprises the woman could think of, but not the one that Lucian had in mind. She was aware that he wasn't human - unfortunately she couldn't recall if he'd ever actually told her what he was - so maybe the surprise went hand-in-hand with that? Either way, curiosity was beginning to outweigh the fear of being in the somewhat dark forest with the male. As long as the outcome was positive, Chiemi was sure she would finally see that trusting someone could be possible. It would just wait to be seen if her vision was indeed accurate, and heading out into the forest with him was in fact the right path for her to take.

His heart was nearly pounding out of his chest. His nerves sang to him, warning him that this would be a stupid mistake. That he would drive Chiemi away if he revealed to her his true form, but that would be the only way he could show her his surprise. He closed his eyes, leading her further into the trees, further away from the cottage. He stepped carefully, trying to make a path for his beautiful oracle to follow through so she wouldn’t hurt herself or make too much noise. He could almost feel the animals retreating, wondering who these strange newcomers were. Not even their recognition of Luke himself could curb their interest to his new companion. The blonde stopped momentarily, scenting the air and turned to Chiemi. Gently, he raised a hand, putting a finger to his lips, and then one hand out to lead her carefully out of the trees and into a meadow. The grass was high here, and sweet. It was one of his favorite places to stop and graze when he was a stag, but he knew it would be the perfect place to stop and check on his surprise. He beamed as the moonlight lit up the meadow in a luminescent wonderland. A few patches of night blooming flowers reached their petals to the sky and stars, releasing a faint scent. Luke smiled and gently dusted off a large boulder located conveniently in the center of the meadow. ”Chiemi…if you’d wait here, I’ll show you your surprise. I just have to make sure its exactly where I left it.” He smiled again, his nerves pushing him to act faster. Perhaps he was being rash, but it was greatly important that Chiemi saw something new of him. A new side of him.
Luke patted her hand and then dashed into the trees. He didn’t want Chiemi to see him shift. Not yet. He wasn’t sure why. He knew she would handle it. Certainly she had seen worse than a man turning into a beast, literally. Perhaps it was just caution that was keeping him from revealing himself fully. He shook his head, claiming himself and allowed the change to come upon him once more. It was strange, going willingly into his shift, without the pressure of build up behind him. The shift was much easier, and less aggressive. His body changed almost soundlessly, and he moved as a stag instead of a man with his next steps. His strong legs padded gently away from the meadow, towards a glen in the distance. He would need to be quick, but gentle about his approach. It took a few minutes before he found his destination, but when he approached the little fawn and its mother, he did so cautiously. The father was one of the wild bucks of the forest, one that had passed through Luke’s territory not long ago. However, unnaturally, it hadn’t seemed to stay to see about the wellbeing of its mate, or the child at hand. Sometimes, Luke was surprised to see how similar animals actions were to those of humans. It amused him to no end. However, this time was not for him to think about other animals. It was about him showing Chiemi this beautiful fawn, and revealing himself to her fully. He would lay himself bare and see what she would make of it. Maybe she would still want to spend time with him after he let her see this side of himself. Or maybe she would want to go away? How had he become so uncertain? He couldn’t do this. Not now.
Coaxing the mother and the readily moving fawn from the glen took only another couple of moments. Luke assured the mother that there would be no harm, and that a midnight stroll would do them both some good. The mother had been fearful of leaving her glen to graze, but it was coming to the time that she would no longer be able to keep her fawn hidden in the glen. He was starting to become curious, and it would only be a matter of time before he went out on his own. Luke instead moved with the mother, cautiously, watching as the fawn bumbled his way after his mother, catching up and then storming before her, only to fall behind again. Pacing forward, Luke found Chiemi’s scent and smile, but the doe stopped. She was restless and smelled something that was not an animal. She would not let her baby face danger. Luke looked at her and huffed in her direction. She would go no further, but her baby was already ahead of them, bounding into the meadow. He stopped when he came face to face with Chiemi, and the mother, too afraid to move watched. Luke, more concerned for the well-being of the fawn in its fright, stepped forward into the clearing. Gently, he nudged the fawn to show that it was okay before stepping forward to Chiemi himself. His eyes locked onto the beautiful oracle and he hesitantly stepped forward, moving slowly until he pressed his nose to her shoulder. How would she see him? Was he disturbing to her? He was terrified, strangely, that he would never fully be enough for her. All he wanted to do was make his beautiful oracle happy for the rest of her days, or his, whichever came first.
He knelt by her, watching as the fawn strayed closer and then further away, playing in the long grass before coaxing his mother out of the trees and brush. She stood away from the center, but eventually settled on grazing at the edge of the meadow. The fawn found a space to sniff at Chiemi, pulling away and launching himself forward over and over. Luke huffed his laughter before taking the full plunge and shifting back, tugging roughly at his bottoms so he would be covered. His blonde hair was askew and a complete mess but he didn’t care. All he wanted to know was if his oracle was alright. ”I wanted you to know….and see me for what I am. If you do not wish to stay, I will understand. As I’ve said before, you are always free to leave whenever you wish…But I do very much hope you will stay. I don’t want you to leave….ever.” His unabashed confession made him blush as he watched the fawn continue to bounce about joyfully before heading back for its mother. Maybe his surprise would be enough? Luke sincerely hoped so.

It was taking all of the Oracle’s strength not to just stop and stare up at the sky. Chiemi was putting all her trust into this man who had taken her into his home all those weeks ago, and while others would trust the person they had been living with for over a month, they weren’t Chiemi. They weren’t a being that had been passed about and trapped in her most vulnerable moments to be used for their own selfish desires. The blonde man that lead her through the forest that surrounded his home - Lucian - was different though. He’d removed her collar and made her an equal in time. While he had indeed purchased her, he’d also bought her slight freedom. It wasn’t ideal freedom, but it was enough to make her feel like she wasn’t going to have her ability abused for personal gain. He’d demonstrated quite often that he was indeed glad to have the woman share his home, and she took it in her calm stride. There was a part of her that quite enjoyed living with the male, admittedly.
Canting her head to the side slightly, giving away her curiosity, she took the male’s hand and allowed him to guide her into a meadow. It had been a long time since she’d been in such a lush, green place. Deserts and stone mountain ranges had been her usual homes, warlords choosing less than beautiful places to set up strongholds. The long grass was soft against her sari, and it parted like a green ocean as Lucian lead her forward. A large boulder sat in the middle of the meadow, like a divine being had placed it there specifically for guests to sit and enjoy the tranquil setting, and that was where she was lead. Perching herself on the boulder, she stayed silent as he asked her to wait there, eventually giving him a nod to say she would wait. A pat on her hand was his farewell, and she was left alone in the still night.
With the night blooms breaking up the sea of soft green grass, the meadow couldn’t have been any more beautiful to the woman. Even if this had been the surprise she would have been more than happy, and a slow smile did grace her face as she turned her eyes to the sky, thoughts of her past taking over. 'Sisters… I miss you all dearly, I do hope you’re all still alive and healthy...' Tears weren’t something the Oracle shed often, and even now with the heartbreaking thoughts of her Sisters running through her mind she refused to cry. There had been too much loss in her life to warrant tears to be shed, too many people killed because of men taking her visions too literally. Still, the clear night sky brought back some happy memories of nights spent dancing around their sacred fire, working themselves up until Chiemi saw visions that took over her mind and soul. It was nice to remember the good memories along with the bad. Everything had balance, and Chiemi still believed in balance. There was always a small amount of bad in the good, and a small amount of good in the bad. At least this meadow seemed void of all that could be bad - pollution, human influence - so the only ‘bad’ was the natural life cycle.
With the stillness of the night air, the sound of small hooves made Chiemi look down from the sky suddenly, her body stiffening. A fawn had appeared within the meadow’s perimeter. Blinking, she hadn’t expected to see a gentle creature appear here with her presence, and slowly her body showed signs of relaxing. Fawns were such innocent creatures, and the softest expression came to her face; such a sweet, curious little creature. What she hadn’t expected to see was a stag to follow. While the moonlight lit up the meadow in an ethereal glow, the treeline wasn’t overly visible from her position on the boulder. Eyes wide in shock and awe as the stag drew closer, the Oracle was unaware that she had held her breath, not wanting to frighten the creature. Wild animals were unpredictable, and given there was a fawn so close to her, she didn’t want to spook the splendid stag. Watching the stag come right up to her without fear, her eyes finally got a good look at the creature. Pale in colouring, tall with a slight amount of concern in its footsteps, stunning blue eyes. Those eyes, she knew those eyes, they stared deep into her own golden-olive ones on many a cold evening in front of the fire. They spoke of a desire to be near her and to keep her happy and safe. Chiemi knew those eyes. Feeling his nose press against her shoulder, she let out the softest sound of appreciation, keeping her hands to herself. There was an overwhelming desire to stroke his nose, touch his antlers and rub his neck, but with the mother deer and the fawn still cautious around her, she didn’t want to move and scare them off. This was one of the most memorable nights in her life to date, she had decided. Maybe it was time she dropped her stiff walls and rigid speech. Maybe it was time to finally start letting in Lucian, given he had shown his all to her right now. Watching him kneel by her, his head only just out of reach from her position on the boulder, she watched him with lowered eyes. He did so much to make her happy, for seemingly no reason. Was this what it meant to ‘care’ for someone?
The fawn entertained Chiemi. She found it’s natural curiosity mixed with its wariness of her quite fascinating, and even gave a near inaudible chuckle at it’s antics; bouncing to and fro while it’s mother hovered a safe distance away. It seemed that this was the point where Lucian had decided to end his surprise and change back to his human form. As curious as she was, Chiemi wasn’t sure what state of undress the male would be upon changing back, so she averted her eyes just in time. Looking up at him from her spot on the boulder, she found his disheveled appearance quite… Attractive. His tousled hair, the sheen on his skin from the rough change his body just went through, but he spoke and concern crossed her face. What on Earth was he talking about? "Why would I leave, Lucian?" Her statement came quickly and bluntly after his little confession, her gaze still locked on his face while he turned away to watch the fawn and the doe, a pink hue gracing his cheeks. "I hope you don’t think that I would leave simply because you presented yourself to me." As usual, her voice was quiet and her tone very much to the point, but there was a gentler expression on her face, giving away much deeper, more personal feelings. "Luke… I accept you no matter what form you take." Again, her voice was to the point and quiet, and she spoke like it was the most obvious thing in the world. "You do not need to be fearful. Both your forms are as natural as your good nature. Do not fear that I will turn and think you to be monstrous." Shrugging her shoulders with her hands clasped in her lap, she stayed perched on the large boulder like it was a throne of knowledge and truth.
"Besides, I found your surprise to be wondrous." A smile formed on her face, a deeply content smile. "I’d like to come here more, if that’s possible. At night. I haven’t seen such greenery in such a long time." A small part of her wall came down, her no-nonsense attitude slowly vanishing in favour for a more comfortable one in the presence of Lucian. "Is that possible? I don’t want to frighten your kindred beasts and the other creatures of this space. But I would like to return here… With you." If Lucian ever needed more of a sign that Chiemi planned to stay at his cottage with him, it was this. It was hard for her to admit such selfish feelings and desires, given what she was, but this seemed like it was the right thing to do. It wasn’t exactly being selfish if she was granting Lucian’s wish for her to not leave, even if it was a selfish desire to stay and continue seeing him be so happy.
