Appearance:
Minari is a petite girl, with pale milk-white skin and snow colored hair. Her skin is so light it’s easy to notice the several black tattoo’s across it’s surface. On the palms of each of her hands rests the symbol of an eye that seems Egyptian in nature. Near the top outside of each of her ankles - extending several inches up her leg and around her calf are feathered wings, with similar ones on her back. On her right shoulder is a mystic icon as well as on her right cheek. Her eyes are a silver/black instead of a color/white.

Spirit Exchange – The tattoo’s on her hands (the eyes) open and release a slight illumination similar to moonlight. Two targets of her choice have their spirits switched between the two physical bodies. Usually she will ‘point’ her palms so the tattoo’s have line of sight but jumping between her and her target will not alter the will of her fullbring. Once she activates the pair of tattoo’s the exchange is instantaneous though generally the two ‘victim’s will have a few moments of disorientation. Oftentimes they don’t realize they’ve been put into a new body until they try to do things and they trip themselves up or can’t quite manage it in the usual fashion – they are learning to react in a totally new form and that is not a simple task. This exchange is not permanent. The stronger the soul, the more quickly it tends to revert to it’s original form. For Captains/Lieutenant’s and anyone of stronger rank it lasts about four hours. For a regular soul reaper/someone of more general strength it lasts about twelve hours. For a normal human it lasts a full twenty-four. Once someone’s spirit has been moved in this way it cannot be moved again for another twelve hour period once the switch ‘wears off’.
Instant Relocation/Flight – The tattoo’s of wings on her ankles allow Minari a greater personal control of her physical self. She can travel the various realms without the need for the usual means of transportation. She doesn’t need gateways or spells, her fullbring in this form simply allows her to move herself between worlds at her will. Once she travels to a new world she must wait fifteen minutes to jump to a new one or she risks leaving parts of physical body behind and harming herself in the process. It’s not impossible but generally a final resort if it’s in such a time period. The wings on her back allow her to grow white feathered wings/fly. She can activate each separately.
Aura Read – The strange coloring of her eyes and the tattoo on her face allow her both protection from spells or effects that would relocate her own soul or body against her will. They also allow her to see spiritual ‘lines’ of the world at any given moment, oftentimes she can read emotions of even the most poker faced individuals and can always tell how injured/near death an individual is.
Puppetry The tattoo on her right shoulder allows her to send her own spirit into the body of another or a false body. She cannot ‘puppet’ a vessel that normally has a soul for longer than Spirit Exchange would allow and she must put the soul into her own body to actually take control of another person. To take control of an item or manikin however does not have a limited duration. She can leave her spirit in a otherwise spiritless vessel for as long as she wishes. If she takes care in the creation of such a manikin and adds her own tattoo’s to it’s body she can still use her abilities through such a copy. Thus if it dies her spirit could still return to her true body. She spends much of her time if she is exploring other spiritual realms in this manner.

Personality: Varies. Minari is often muted and observant if she is on her own, curious but not incredibly outgoing. Though if she has recently switched bodies of others or been in another body she tends to take on their stronger traits and mannerisms. At times this happens even months or years after she’s finished such a switch so she can come off as a little insane. She has a habit of speaking aloud without realizing she is expressing herself in such a way.

History: Minari was born premature, a result of her mother attempting to abort her since she was conceived out of wedlock at a very young age. Such a thing is frowned upon in the states but is nearly taboo in Japan. When the self-aborting attempt failed instead her mother was pushed into labor two full months early and Minari’s first days in existence were tied to tubes to help her breath, separated from the world for fear of infection. The doctors said it was a miracle she survived at all.
Despite prior issues, the mother was still given Minari once she was healthy and old enough to leave the hospital, though Minari’s real role models were more her grandparents than her biological parents. Her family helped run an area that was basically a graveyard, a gathering place for shrines of dead families. It’s hard to say if her strange early birth into the world or if her being raised in the vicinity of so many spirits is what developed her strange skills.
When she was born she had the unnatural eyes she still possesses to this day. As she grew up she got a fascination with tattoo’s a sign of expression. She doesn’t have as many as some enthusiasts yet each she attained she felt had some particular feeling. She’d always seen more of the world than anyone else – thus the eyes on her palms. She always wanted to get out and experience new things – the wings on her ankles and back. She just liked the others…they were symbols that meant little to her when she picked them out yet Minari felt as though they resonated with her on a deep level she couldn’t quite explain.
It was when she was sixteen that her powers first activated. She was being chased by boys from the school, they didn’t live in the best neighborhood. And despite her often being outcast for her upbringing her exotic appearance also tended to garner her attention she didn’t want. They were attempting to rape her…they’d just knocked her down when the world shifted, it felt as thought her ankles had suddenly been touched with ice where her tattoo’s existed. They were freezing yet burned and then she was in another world, a sandy desolate place that left her heart racing. She was without her attackers but what was this?
After wandering Heuco Mundo for a long period she was attacked by hollows only to run and then shift again…this time finding herself in Soul Society. She spent many years using her free time exploring these worlds…though her sometimes sudden disappearances left even more rumors about her in the real world. People began to call her a witch and act as though she was a pariah because she could often tell what they were feeling no matter how well they covered it up.
Recently she moved out, with little connection to the mother that bore her and almost no knowledge of her biological father. She still keeps in contact with her grandparents but they have a residence in Kyoto and she has a final year of high school to complete. They’re helping her pay for a very small apartment not far from Karakura high school where she moved yet once she was in the new place she was all the more eager to explore.
That’s when she met Sestran, and he was such a variety of emotion, unlike anything she’d seen before from hollow, human, or soul reaper. His incredible rage covered by his obsessive need to appear regal, his sense of duty where he seemed to want to do something that could destroy all the worlds. All for a love and a need for vengeance regarding a family member – that resonated with Minari the most. Someone that was so willing to go out of the way for someone close to them, when her own mother had attempted to kill Minari. It wasn’t long before she found herself not only intrigued but wanting to do anything she could to aid this old soul. If for nothing else than she greatly respected the fact that he held onto what others would give up so easily.
