In the mythical land known as Jexal, creatures and monsters that only seem to appear in fairy tales are mingled into everyday life. Races of all kind flourish and the supernatural energy known as Magic follows through the earth. However, with this power, great responsibility must be taken and Rules have been set up in order to prevent this peaceful continent from turning into a war zone. This includes the “golden rule” that even the smallest of children learn first.
XXXXXXXXX"...By all means, may NO races intertwine..."
A rule set up to firmly divide the entire world into sets of purebreds. The punishment of breaking this rule is horrific and none have lived to tell the tale. Some may say its death; others may say it’s something much worse…
But.
But what if something made you break this rule, a kind of feeling existing in every single beings. Love is said to be able to drive people to do drastic things, even so much as to go against this heavily enforced rule. How far would you go for someone you cared so much about it, even if you knew it was unacceptable?

Background: Born as a Fairy Sprite to a relatively normal family, she never has really taken the time to travel around the world and likes to stay in her quiet and calm village. When out on a grocery run for a sickly neighbor, she was nearly run over by a wanderer from a different town. The two of them got to talk after the accident and soon found them becoming friends. After a few months, this friendship turned into romantic tendencies and the two became a couple. Now it’s been about a month and Cloud recently has discovered that she’s pregnant with a child that is not of her own kind. Kodou has vanished in search for a safe haven for his fiancé and his unborn child, leaving Cloud alone for the time being to contemplate her next course of action.
Personality: Cloud has always viewed herself as being like a spec of dust to the world, she exists but, she isn’t that important. As a fairy sprite, she is one of the weaker types of creatures in Jexal however; she never dwells on herself for being weak and chooses to stay positive. Though she at times, can have a wallflower like personality, it is only because she enjoys others being in the spotlight than herself. She enjoys helping others.

But he had other plans, he used her as a 'guard dog' for 200 years till she came to her senses of the abuse, in a massive battle between the two, he was defeated. But Elvara sadly was so injured she had to endure a 140 year sleep to recover.. after waking up she hid in the dark forests, alone.. picking off any traveler of animal that comes in smell radius.. even after 500 years.. she still longs for the child she lost. Deep down she longs to be rid of her curse, either through death or being cured. Personality: strong minded, suicidal, scared to fall in love, old fashioned, motherly to young people, aggressive, soft and kind when on her own. XX✧ For a Sunday morning, the marketplace was lively as always. Faces familiar and new floated through the packed streets, eager to get goods from Jexals’s famous “Alto-Marie Baazar” located right on one of the edges of supercontinent’s south side. It was probably because of this scenic, water-looking street fair that the city of Alto-Marie attracted so much attention in the first place and it always seemed like everyday was packed. But, not quite as packed as a Sunday Morning. In terms of shopping, Weekends were the worse; people had their days off and so they often wandered to here, making it go from max capacity to overflow. Being a local here, Cloud knew this well yet, somehow she had managed to skip her weekly trip here and now was in desperate need of food since nothing remained in her house. I’ve been so wrapped up in baby issues…That I forgot to buy food… that’s what the light-fairy was thinking to herself and she stood in the dead-center of the marketplace traffic. It was a drag she had to go shopping now on one of the busiest days of the week but, unless she wanted to eat tonight, she would have to put up with the abnormal increase in tourists and just go get things done.
Mappel loved towns like these. The big ones filled with races and people of various types and sizes. Not watching where he was going the elf accidentally bumped into a fat lizardman. Apologizing he bowed a bit before continuing on. It was like a dream to him, Mappel had wondered what the outside world had always been like and now he was living it!
The elf then spotted a woman standing in the center of it all. She looked kind of overwhelmed a bit. He had to be honest, a large crown was a bit overwhelming if you didn't know how to manouver around them right. Making his way to the center he waved and greeted the woman.
"Good Day and Good Tidings!" the elf said with a happy smile, using the greeting of his people. "Ahh the market really is buzzing this morning isn't it?"
He looked over when one of the smaller races had accidentally knocked over a cart of pans causing them to echo loudly. The owner of the pans began to argue with the creature. Mapple smiled, he was happily enjoying himself!
((OCC///: You don’t have to, I’m just so used to having a post format T.T ))
XX✧ Holding her shopping basket close to her, Cloud timidly slip back and forth through the gaps of people that emergered for split seconds at a time. Her first stop was to Mrs. Baxter’s produce stall set up a few stands down. Lots of fruit was beginning to ripen now and she knew that her stall for sure would have the pick of the harvest all ready to go. "Good Day and Good Tidings!" The marketplace was a flutter with noise but still, Cloud managed to pick out one certain voice from the sea of people and turn to it. She couldn’t quite narrow it down to who exactly had spoken but, her attention was brought onto an elf that was passing her by in the opposite direction. B—BANG!! the sound of pots hitting the ground made Cloud jump so much as she dropped her basket on the ground. With her attention pried off from the elf, she picked her basket up with embarrassment, brushing it off and feeling lucky nothing was in it. Now as for the sound, well, Cloud strung her basket over her shoulder before very shyly getting out of the traffic of the marketplace. Reaching the edge where there were less people. Just as she thought, Mr. Cait-Sith, the old man who owned the pots and pan cart was already hissing away at a group of boys who she could only suspect must have rammed into the cart by mistake. ”G-good m-morning…Mr. Cait-Sith….” Cloud began to talk, making the old man become quiet and listen to her while the boys also turned to her. She knew it was probably an accident and they judging by the boys horrified facial expressions, they probably didn’t realize just how grumpy of a man the pot cart owner could be, especially on the busiest days of the week. It only took about three minutes for Cloud’s naturally positive energy to activate and Mr. Cait-Sith’s stopped rambling to her about how these boys had “so rudely and purposely slammed into my cart” and changed to letting them go with a warning. The boys scattered in a heartbeat and Cloud smiled and watched them go, turning back to the old cart owner who began picking up his fallen goods. ”Here, I can help you with that.” the Fairy-girl smiled at him and happily began restacking the cart.

A young looking human strolled through the market carrying a rather gothic looking parasol. It had lace covering all of it and an ivory handle that fitted nicely in her small grasp. She didn't seem to be looking for anything particular, but she seemed very interested in any of the book stalls or ones that sold ingredients for potions. But the woman did have a book in her spare arm, occasionally looking through it once she would come across a potion place. It didn't look brand new, no title on it, just plain brown leather binding on it.
"Ahhh good morning Elvara.. how may a help you today?" an old man with only one tooth grinned at the brunette maiden. "Morning Richard" the woman smiled back, her name must of been Elvara then if he called her that. "I've come for... you know what" she whispered, covering her mouth with one hand, but it was loud enough for the man to hear atleast. He was a little death so she had to speak up and say it again. "Ahhh yes! I have just what you need! meet me at the back." he grinned, showing off his old gums to the world without a care. Elvara gave a gracious bow and followed him. "Right, I only have eight vials of blood for you this week, I'm afraid dragon blood is in short supply. Maybe you should think of going back to human to elf my dear" She quickly snapped at him "are you stupid?! Dragon blood is the only thing that lasts for days, human lasts one day at the most.. you know that" "your right m'lady, I'm sorry to of given you a different suggestion" he appologized, bowing down to this woman like she was a goddess or something. "Richard please stop that.. you know how I feel about that." "Once again I'm very sorry, but you turned 572 today! And look just as beautiful as the day you died I bet" He flirted with a dirty wink before giving her round bottom a squeeze. Elvara's hand quickly slapped his in a speedy manor. "Richard!!! You know not to do that anymore.. your not twenty anymore" she said with a fanged smirk. "I know, but an old man can live in his memories can't he?" "Yes he can," the strange woman give his wrinkled face a quick kiss "so what do I owe you for this blood?" "On the house, that kiss surely made up for it. And it's your birthday.. enjoy it.. to another 572 years Elvara" The old man shakingly gave her small hand a loving kiss as a goodbye, till next time.
Elvara left the ally behind Richard's market stool and carried on with her day, umbrella in one hand while rummaging with a small black case. Not looking where she was going the woman walked into an ugly looking ogre, tripping over his massive foot. The umbrella fell out of hand for a moment, making the woman scream and roll around in the floor in pain like she was dying, no one seemed to care though, just walked past. In a quick reaction she managed to grab her umbrella once more, gasping her breath under the shade of it. Luckily she was only exposed for a split second. Not many people even took notice. With shaky hands she began to pick up all her vials, none were broken thankfully.
Posted: Tue Apr 02, 2013 9:04 pm
Mapple watched the commotion and noticed how the fairy girl handled the situation quickly. Smiling gently he was about to walk over and help, until he heard the sound of a woman shrieking in loud pain. He suddenly turned to see a woman rolling around the ground like she was being attacked by some invisible demon or something.
Vials and books flew from her hands, along with a strange black parasol. One of the vials rolled and gently bumped into his foot. Looking down he gently picked up then walked over to the woman, who had oddly recovered by the time he got to her. Funny today wasn't raining? What was her parasol for?
"Are you alright?" Mapple asked with some concern to the brown haired woman. "Oh that's right! You dropped this..here you go!" he said opening his hand and presenting the vial to her happily. Mapple didn't ask or care what it contained, he figured she was probably an alchemist or something.
Elvara was still breathing like she ran a marathon, both her lungs were tight and painful from being in the sunlight. Slowly she was recovering though. She forgot how painful it was, usually she was so careful but her fix of blood was much more important in that previous moment.
Looking up with her earthy green eyes, she saw a handsome looking elf gaze down at her. He seemed to be the only one that was helping her, everyone else seemed to busy with getting all the items in their shopping lists or selling things themselves. "Yes, I'm fine... just a trip" the woman spoke with a dry sounding voice, it sounded as if she hadn't drank anything in ages. But it was just the effects of the sunlight drying out her throat. A vial was in his hands, her much needed dragon blood. "Thank you so much, I'd of died without this" she joked, but it was really true, blood was her only lifeline. She missed the simple pleasures of food so much..
Elvara picked herself up, brushing down her elegantly patterned dress. It wasn't overly fancy, just elven looking in a way. These was dust all over her knees which needed to be wiped off, presentation was very important to her. "Once again, thank you very much.... here let me give you something as a thank you for this" Holding her umbrella under her armpit, the woman plucked a seed from the sky. It seemed to come out of no where, was this a cheap magic trick or something? Giving the seed a quick blow of air, with small green twinkly sparkles in it, a starburst lily grew out from the tiny seed. "here... take this.. if you give it one drop of pure water a day it will never die"
Posted: Wed Apr 03, 2013 9:39 am
Mapple's eyes lit up when she suddenly presented him with a rare and beautiful flower. A bit touched he accepeted it, and whiped up a little earth magic himself to make a small shower of pure water rain down upon it.
"Thank you kindly Miss." he said with a tender and friendly smile.
This woman was some kind of mage wasn't she? Looking into her eyes, he couldn't put his finger on it, but something was a bit off about this woman. Using his own wind magic to make the flower vanish into his bag, for safe keeping, he bowed before her again. "Well I do not want to keep you. I hope you do not have any more unpleasent trips."
Mapple gave the vampire, though he didn't know she was one, a bow of respect. Then looked at her full arms. "On second thought, let me carry something for you Miss. In kind return for the flower." the elf gently smiled.
She was equally impressed with the small amount of magic he used to water and store the pink splashed lily. Stuff like that always sent a fuzzy feeling down her spine, the old days of being a human.. meeting people to learn new spells and sorts. "Your very welcome, keep an eye on it.. it's very rare" she wouldn't usually give someone a seed of her favorite flower but he helped collect her meal and it was her birthday so was feeling generous for once. With all the items in her hands, the woman gave a small bow, not too low though or everything would fall out again. "I'll be sure to pay attention next time time.. thank you" She was about to leave when suddenly this elf wanted to help her, Elvara was getting hungry and really needed a fix. Maybe she could quickly gulp one while he wasn't looking or something. Turning down his offer would've been rude, even she knew that. "Well.. that would be lovely actually. What are you willing to carry?" Elvara asked. There was her umbrella in one arm, a mountain of books in another with a few vials that dropped tangled between her elegant fingers.
Posted: Wed Apr 03, 2013 3:55 pm
Mappel wouldn't take the umbrella, seeing how she kind of panicked when she fell down. Maybe the woman had a rare skin condition that was sensative to the sunlight? The vials seemed a bit more important, but easy for her to carry and probably manouver well. What was inside of them, Mapple figured, was medicine so if she drank one he wouldn't have thought twice.
"I shall take the books." the elf replied gently then held out his hands to recieve them. "I am Mappel Silverleaf by the way, what's your name Miss?" the elf was suddenly so curious about her! She appeared Human but something in him told him she wasn't one.
So he wanted to carry the books? That she would allow, passing each one carefully into his arms but the woman kept hold of one. The oldest looking book from the bunch.. she seemed rather attached to it for some reason.
Mappel Silverleaf, what a lovely name for a man! It was a tab feminine but most elven names appeared to be so. "Elvara Soerdra... nice to meet you. May I compliment you on your fine name." it was themed around nature obviously, a passion of hers as a human. Life magic was very important to woodland things, from small sprouts to trees, Elvara would heal them or give them new life. Elven magic had always interested her though, being a human long ago of course it would've made her curious! Elves were like a more advanced race in every sense. Their talents, magic and even looks. So far she had never seen an ugly elf, was it even possible?
