Hobbies:

Dancing - Mackenzie grew up with parents who always wanted more for her than they had for themselves. One of the things that her mother really pushed for was for her daughter to be in ballet. Dance was a huge part of Mackenzie's life from the age of 6 and it has been something she has always had a passion for. When she hit her rebellious stage around age 15, she decided to drop out of ballet (which broke her mother's heart as she was quite good) and pursued other styles of dance. She found a huge passion in hip-hop dance and in the last 5 years has dedicated almost all of her time to it. Not only is this her biggest hobby, she also teaches hip-hop at the local dance academy in Destiny City while in school to major in dance.

Music - As music goes hand in hand with dancing, it was only natural that it become a huge part of Mackenzie's life. She is rarely ever seen without her headphones on (or at least hanging on her neck) with hip-hop music blaring loudly from them. While she isn't much of a singer at all, she does actually attempt to create her own music. She writes her own lyrics and creates her own beats which she makes dance routines to for her classes.

Skateboarding - While skateboarding isn't something she is necessarily incredibly good at (unlike dance), it's something to distract herself from the stresses of everyday life. It's an adrenaline rush and it lets her be social at the local skate park with a different group of people compared to those she knows from dance.

Virtues:

Detached -- Some may think that being detached as a flaw. But for Mackenzie, it keeps her cool and level-headed and difficult to really piss off. Avoiding emotional involvement allows her to focus all of her efforts on more important things in life. While she isn't completely void of the ability to love and care for people, she does keep herself at a fairly far distance to avoid getting hurt. She has an incredibly high level of focus and determination because of this and this makes her a good, hard worker in everything she does. Because she is detached, she is able to see the bigger picture in different situations and is able to see both sides of arguments. This makes her unbiased and surprisingly easy to get along with.

Loyal & Obedient -- Mackenzie is utterly devoted to things that she cares about- whether it's dance, a person, her work- and one day, the Negaverse. She has an unwavering willingness to be obedient out of a sense of moral obligation and respect for other people. She is incredibly dutiful and submissive and will do anything for someone that is in charge above her. She makes a hell of an employee and a soldier because of this. She would fight to the very end and probably sacrifice her own life for someone else- not because of an emotional attachment, but because of a feeling that it is right and she was told to do so.

Confident -- As someone who was raised by parents who wanted everything for her, she has gained huge amounts of confidence in her life. She has a strong belief in herself and her abilities and it shows in everything she does. She isn't afraid to show how anyone how sure of herself she is. When she believes in something, it is unwavering and she has a very strong disposition. If she puts her mind to something, she believes that she is fully capable of doing it and will go to great lengths to do so.

Flaws:

Callous -- Unfortunately in being detached, Mackenzie shows very little or no concern that other people might be hurt or upset at the things that she does or says. She can be quite harsh in the judgment and treatment of others and typically doesn't show compassion towards others. Because she doesn't get emotionally involved, she has a rather hard time relating to other people and tends to be very insensitive.

Impatient -- Mackenzie gets very easily annoyed at being kept waiting or by being delayed. There isn't much that gets her riled up, but when her time has been wasted or something takes longer than expected, she gets very quickly frustrated. She tends to be very restless and comes off as very eager- usually overly so. She wants to get things done right then and there and if you can't keep up then she doesn't want or need you, thank you very much. She has quite a temper when she gets to this point, but it's not necessarily explosive or violently angry. She can get rather short with people, and it's a very snappy, sassy, sarcastic angry. Essentially, she will be very blunt, forward and cheeky with people when they keep her waiting. She has no problem ending a friendship if this is a reoccurring thing- unless of course the person can be used again to her benefit.

Manipulative -- Her confidence allows her to use clever, devious ways to control or influence other people in her life. Because she has very little care for other people on a personal level, she uses it to her advantage to manipulate situations and people to her desires. She does anything she possibly can to try and influence the behaviors and emotions of other people- and flirting or using her looks is not above her. She has very little boundaries when it comes to getting what she wants. Since she is insensitive to other peoples' feelings, she thinks it's perfectly okay that she can push people to get what she wants. Unfortunately, other people don't see it the same way. If her cold, distant nature didn't push people away to begin with because they want to give her the benefit of the doubt, manipulating them definitely does. No one wants to be friends with someone who is only interested in keeping you around to get what they want. Because of this she has a very hard time keeping people in her life around for the long-term.

Hair: A deep, bright pinkish red; typically long and straight, shaved on one side of her head

Face: Heart shaped, large pouty lips

Clothes: Picture a pretty typical female hip-hop dancer, and you have Mackenzie's style of dress. She typically wears baggier pants, high-top sneakers, and a tank top or t-shirt.

ON THE CIVILIAN SIDE:

Small things – under “Impatient,” how does she express her disapproval? Does she get sharp, blunt, or nasty with people if she thinks they’re taking too long?

Also, on “Manipulative,” I definitely agree that this is a flaw inasmuch as it’s a negative trait, but as written it’s basically an advantage for her. How does this make people dislike her? Just a little detail here and we’ll be great! :3
