I've missed this place. Even though I didn't post much in here. I mainly remained in the background. Reading ya'lls posts. They intrigued me. I'm sorry.
So much has happened away from here. I suppose explains why I haven't been on here or gaia much. My Mum passed away a few months ago and it's been very hard coping with this. What makes this harder is that I also suffer from major depressive disorder with psychosis.
I am sorry though for not posting much in here. I was actually thinking of having a Silent Hill gaming marathon. I'm just not motivated enough to do this yet. I only have games 1-4.
It's nice being here today.
I logged in today for the first time in a while and it was nice to get a message from the Vice saying how we haven't posted much as of late. People do get busy with their lives. Things happen. Or perhaps people forget. Either way things do happen.
I hope everyone had a lovely Easter. If you don't celebrate, then I hope you had a lovely day. See ya'll when I see ya'll~

I am truly sorry for your loss. I know how difficult losing a loved one can be and suffering from depression. It's always nice to see members come in and post but there is no need to apologize. We are one big family here and you are free to come in and post at your leisure without consequences. We don't force activity down members throats like many big guilds. Sometimes it's nice to have a little quiet and fade into the fog of our little town. smile It's nice seeing you though and taking the time to let us all know you're here. Let it be known that the guild knows you're here as well and we support you and will do all we can to help. This may be Silent Hill but we aren't the monsters. We are the fighters, the survivors that will fight off all the terrors of this town together. -Byakuyasenkai

Thank you very much for taking the time to respond. I appreciate your kind words. I'm still trying to be okay. Some times I wake up feeling as if I'm in my own hell. Every day has been a battle against myself. It's been hard. I know that things will get better some day. I do hope that everyone in the Silent Hill Guild is doing good. I do miss everyone.~

See ya'll when I see ya'll~ I am so sorry for your loss, and I am even far more sad that it has taken me this long to return to our wonderful guild here on Gaia. I wish I could have noticed your post sooner, and I do mean I truly feel terrible for you and as a Vice for not being here when a fellow guild member needed help. Despite being a late response, if there is ANYTHING I can do to assist you, please let me know in a PM or post on here! Otherwise, welcome back to the guild (and a re-welcome to myself if I may be so bold) 3nodding It means a lot to me to read where the guild has meant so much to all of you, and it means even more when these personal accounts are brought to light. While it may seem to generic for me to send the same announcement to every member, the message I send is very sincere. I hope you find plenty to discuss upon your return! biggrin *P.S* Somehow we always knew you were watching from the background surprised Though I have to wonder who else may be with us still, just unspoken?

Hello. I'm sorry for now responding. I wasn't able to at the time. I wasn't home. I was visiting family in Europe. My dad and I stayed in Germany and then took a trip to Spain. We had a nice time aside from the drama. Just flew in last night. Very long flight from Frankfurt, Germany to Georgia(9hours long). Then about two hours from Georgia to Texas. Whew! Welcome back Henry~ and you're fine. Everyone gets busy with their lives. So it's understandable. Thank you very much for you kind words. I hope I said that okay? I find it hard to thank people. I never really know what to say or how to say it. So if my thank you is a bit weird I'm sorry. I'm really not sure what else to say here. Thank you for your guild posts Sir~ I always love reading them. They make me smile. I hope you're having a good summer. Thank you again, for your kind words and for your guild posts.~

You're very welcome~ You'd love Germany~ A lot to see there. It's very green over there as well. Unlike here where I live. All of the grass has dried up due to heat and humidity. >.< I love their food. Different from here in the states. They drink carbonated water rather than tap water. They also don't really add ice to your drinks. The drink is already cool (not cold). A lot of castles. And their grocery stores are small. They also don't stay open that long(all shops). In Spain they did add ice to your drinks. They were huge ice cubes though. So it was two huge cubes in a glass. Probably close to the size of my fist. Spain had a lot of alley ways. At least the part of Spain we were in did(or area). We were in Barcelona. My first time in Spain. I'd like to go back. I pick up my puppy from the vet today. I can't wait to see him. Twenty four days away from home and him. I missed my bed and had no trouble passing out on it.

Well while not as grand a trip as that, and for not as long, I did recently take my GF to Gatlinburg, TN for 5 days and I can certainly agree that passing out on my own bed was truly the best part of coming home. And I can also understand missing your dog as I have 2 dogs of my own, Pogo and Willy, and it certainly wasn't the same being from them for that long (especially staying in a hotel that allows pets and seeing others with their dogs). I gotta admit my first real draw to Germany was from the bands I enjoy such as oomph!, Rammstein, Subway to Sally, Blut Engel, and Eisbrecher. From there I started looking up the country and studying my own family history. I would probably enjoy visiting Spain as well, but not entirely sure everything I would do when I got there. I also really want to go to Norway, Scotland, and Ireland.

So far, all I've heard is that she's writing songs and recording them. I hope it works out for her. How did ya'll like TN? I've heard of Oomph! and Rammstein. Some of my ancestors were from Spain. Sadly, I'm not sure which part, and there is no one that I know that would know. Also, I may still have family living there in Spain. I just don't know their last names, nor do I know anyone that would know. I'm planning a trip to the UK in late October for a concert. It will be my first time going there. So I'm pretty stoked. I would love to see Italy, Finland, Sweden, Russia, New Zealand, Australia, China,..pretty much I want to see it all. I love traveling and taking photos of everything that catches my eyes. I hope that you'll be able to visit those countries. I've been to Germany, France, Holland, Belgium, and Spain. All countries are beautiful in their own way. I agree with you though, passing out on my bed was the best feeling after a long trip away from home. I bet your pups were excited to see you. What breeds are they? Oskar is a Boston Terrier. ~

I am huge into all that ancestral lifestyle stuff, and history and heritage mean the world to me. 3nodding I can actually be quite offended if I hear or see someone make a mockery of their past.

I am huge into all that ancestral lifestyle stuff, and history and heritage mean the world to me. 3nodding I can actually be quite offended if I hear or see someone make a mockery of their past. I understand what you mean~ I knew a guy once that was adopted and he refused to see his birth parents.(Never been in his shoes. Therefore I don't understand where he was coming from.) I asked him, Don't you want to know where you came from, what your birthparents are like, meet your siblings? His reply, no. Sadly, his birthparents really wanted to see how he turned out. My mum was light complected. She was hispanic, but her skin tone was light. So when I was four years old I said "Mum, I want to be white like you." >.< She looked down at me and said "Sweetey I'm not white. I'm brown like you, just a little lighter." I looked back up at her and said "Nuh uh, you're white." >.< I didn't know. I love learning about my ancestors. Some were native indians, some were mexicans and some were Spanish. My sister had to write a paper on our ancestors. We found out that one of our great great great great grandparents lived to be a little over a hundred years old. I think my great great great great grandfather lived to be 103 and great great great great grandmother was a 107. I remember seeing a photo and thought they looked so cute. I've seen some old photos of my ancestors and it's incredible. There's a photo of my Mum of when she was little. About nine years old I think and the face she had then, I have now.

Splodges henrytownshend4235 Splodges That Sir, is by far the most incredible ever. I really do hope that you get to visit all of those countries. See where you're ancestors are from. If you ever get the opportunity to go, do it. Because you may never get that chance again. Just make sure (if you don't have it already) when you take your passport photos, don't smile. Family heritage is important no matter who you are.... to be honest, and to some great extent, I believe this is why I love tracing family lines in Silent Hill so much. It's not just enough for me to know who the person is, I wanna know where they come from and maybe understanding where they came from and what brought them up could contribute to who they are or why they do the things they do. Silent Hill is just that complex eek
