Anguis’ tongue stuck out as he judged the distance. Concentrating as he closed one eye, trying to aim perfectly. Floating in water made the aiming even more difficult than it already was. His tail lifted slightly from the water, the pebble he had selected rolled slightly on the flesh of his tail. One more moment of aiming and he seemed to have it. He flipped his tail, sending the pebble flying through the air. He could see it flying straight and his mouth opened slightly in anticipation, his eyes growing wider. He could hear the plink plink of the pebble hitting the others on the little cliff side above the lake he waded in. He giggled joyfully as he watched the cascade of pebbles fall into the lake. Water splashed as he happily jumped slightly in the water, happy to have scored well with his good aiming. Now all he had to do was find another good pebble to start another cascade. He enjoyed this new found game of his. He dipped into the water, scanning the lake bed for a good sized pebble. One that would knock of a few more, but not all. It was tiresome to always get out of the water to set up more pebbles to fall in.

Paavai heard the sound of pebbles falling into a nearby lake as she walked the forest path she had found. Her ear twitching as she tilted her head, trying to pin point where the sound had come from. Thinking she did, she changed course and headed towards a patch of thick brush. It took her a few moments, but once she squeezed her body through the thick bushes, she saw a most interesting sight. An adult water pony who seemed to be concentrating on the cliff side in front of him. Paavai tilted her head, confused by his concentration. Just at that moment, the other pony jerked his tail up. A small rock flying from his tail to the Cliffside. In turn creating a few pebbles crashing down to the water below it. His whooping glees turned her concentration from the falling pebbles to the small stallion again. She couldn’t help but smile at his glee. It looked like fun, his little game. So down the path to the lake side she would go. She paused, looking around. As soon as she could find a path that is.
When she finally did, the stallion had had a few more goes at his little game. She called to him from the side of the lake. “Hello there….. What is that game you are playing?”

The pebble that had just flown from Anguis’ tail flew off to the right and lopped into the lake a few yards in front of him. Anguis winced at the misaim, but soon recovered to smile up at the female. The sun shown brightly and her hair blew softly in the wind. He had to squint to look up into her eyes, but when he finally was able to, his smile came easy and smooth. Like all his actions around others. He looked over to the cliff, then back to the female.
“Oh! Just some little game I made up. It is rather fun.” He glanced at her body, his smile fading just a bit. “But I uh…. Am not sure you have the right…” His eyes stopped at her tail. “Equipment. “ His mouth quarked a little. “How will you throw the pebbles?” His eyes curious as they once again contacted with hers
