Natural Ability: Knick's natural ability allows him to visualize any type of sound, which can then be physically moved and removed if he reaches out to take it. They do lose all color or shape when placed into any container (vials in his case), since they can't be heard then.
Personality: Finicky and moody and something close to the embodiment of a feral cat, it's hard to tell what you'll get from Knick sometimes. If he wants something from you, he is persuasive and amicable and patient, willing to do whatever it might take to get what he needs - especially if it's a particular sound. If you're bothering him and are of no use to him, however, you're far more likely to get a feisty, venom-spitting Knick who will do anything it takes to make you get away from him.
Job/Business: Acquisition and Distribution of Sound
Personal History: Knick doesn't differ much from the stereotypical Synthesis demon; his largest goal is to acquire all seven of the sounds necessary to combine for the one pure cacophony. Unlike other Synthesis demons, he doesn't only steal or maliciously acquire sounds that he might need. He thinks that the key to acquisition means using a mixture of methods, including fair trade. This is absolutely laughable to most Synthesis demons in existence right now, so Knick found Halloweentown to be his best option. He left shortly before their version of a coming of age ceremony, where he would have been permanently paired with another Synthesis demon who would inevitably not have shared his ideas on sound collection.
His 'shop' doesn't have a storefront. He has a room in his small house devoted to storing the vials, so he just accepts customers at his house for now.
FEAR Ability: Synthetic Silence, uses Headlights mechanic. Knick's FEAR involves dampening enemy attacks rather than actually temporarily silencing or removing them
Physical Description:
Eye Colour: Orange, black sclera
Hair Colour/Style: Black with hints of orange and green, long and tied back, tapering/thinner towards the ends.
Skin Colour: desaturated but not quite grey, darker at extremeties
Clothing Style/Colours: Always wears outerwear, whether it's a coat, jacket, etc. Stuff like x / x. Tends to carry a small, worn bag with him, and occasionally has small vials (like these) pinned to his coat.
