for her mother to accept her as she is ✖ 【all her life, Liva straddled the line between girl and boy. while biologically female, she often preferred typically masculine activities, and on occasion would announce that "today, I am a boy!". however, she didn't constantly think of herself as a boy: there were days she would go to school decked out in the frilliest, pinkest dress she owned, proud of her femininity. when she was little, her mother allowed this behaviour -- but now that Liv is reaching adulthood, that acceptance has disappeared. whenever Liva feels like a boy, her mother yells and berates her -- and the masculine side of her nature has only grown stronger with time. recently, her mom's anger has started turning violent, and she wishes for nothing more than acceptance for the person she is, regardless of gender identity. 】

weighted chain✖ Liva's attacks are all long-range, and mainly used for offense or trapping. as such, she is weak defensively and tends to leave herself open to attack. her magic is related to "family acceptance", which gives her the specialty of binding, as well as the destruction of façades. her minor attack is called ferro grandinata (iron hailstorm), and comprises multiple rapid blows with the weighted end of her chain. it's good for doing a lot of damage to a single target, but makes her vulnerable if there are multiple enemies. her major / final attack is called ferro tempesta (iron tempest): with the ends of her chain in either hand, Liv spins rapidly; the chains extend via magic, shooting out to strike her enemies with heavy, crushing blows. unlike her minor attack, ferro tempesta is good for striking multiple enemies simultaneously. however, the spinning motion of her body leaves her dizzy and weak afterward: she only uses this attack if she's severely outnumbered and/or desperate.
