((This is for Nimaina and Arilin only, concerning some dreams Nima's been having after meeting Naia again and Anen for the first time. This may fit better after more stuff has happened, it may or may not even become a part of the story. It's just been flitting around in my head for awhile.))

Something was wrong. Incomplete. Unfinished. She could feel a yearning, calling out.

It's not supposed to be like this!

She knew with all her soul it had something to do with one of her children. One of the girls. But this was much too young to be any of her children.

Make it go away. I just wanted it to stop.

Not young, as old as the world. But only an infant. Ageless. She had to be found. There was a magic here. Magic gone awry but it still couldn't be denied.

You will leave me no choice? Then I will take this chance, and make it as I will.

Not much time left. Just a little more to make it complete. She just had to reach a little farther, but she did't know where or what to reach for.

As I will. This time it's my choices, my descisions...

Nimaina jerked out of a sound sleep, breathing heavily with panic. The room focused around her. Nothing wrong here. Already the dream started to fade. She glanced down at Tentei beside her. He hadn't even budged. Shaking her head, she put on a robe and padded softly out into the hall.

"You okay Nimmy?" Arilin came floating up the stairs, feeling her panic through the Bond.

"Just a bad dream." But with four mages and a child so intricately entwinned with dreams in the house, it was very rare for there to be just a bad dream. "I need to check something."

The pair looked in on all the girls, but they were all sleeping peacefully. Nothing wrong there. They even checked on Mehiyal to be sure. Was it just a bad dream after all?
