[SOLO][B] This Island is Occupied [Doom x Hemlock]

Doom was averaging way too many blessings a season for her liking. it seemed like that was the only reason she ever ran into a kin nowadays. She needed to regroup, to ground herself again. She wanted to see her family again, especially Gloom and Look-See. They were her rocks. She almost yearned for when things were simpler. But they were to grow, progress and hone their traits and skills. And thus Doom was flying across waters with her large turtle shell like some magpie gone awry. She made her way to an island. Dropping off the shell with a decidedly loud plonk, she resumed her bathing near a waterfall. Cold, crisp water to wash away her previous experience with a blue and green doe. Her mood couldn't be any brighter.

And just like that Hemlock and her two canines, Poppy and Wolfsbane, arrive on the scene looking for their fellow companion, Travels in Circles. But lo and behold, another traveller and adventure. A very worthy recruit. And a legendary Mare at that! What a great fortune! A potentially loyal legion to add to the ranks. She could wax on all day about the wonderful turn of events and how prime of a candidate the mare looked, but unless they engaged in conversation, all of it could go terribly wrong. So for the Mare's best interests, Hemlock approached Doom. The mare was bathing in a small enclosure near the waterfall. Small stepping stones littered the distance between them which Hemlock make quick use of. Prancing up and down she hailed her new found friend, "The waters here are great, but I could show you an even larger waterfall!"

A little fly was buzzing around a mile a minute with its oh so breakable legs. Doom smiled. It was am ambitious one, trying to talk her up and the island. It was adorable in its plans of swamp domination, something Doom had no choice but to commend. It went on for a small eternity as Doom sank deeper into the waters to the point part of her ears were submerged, and the buzzing was on the backdrop as a delightful low hum. Doom closed her eyes and entered a state of half awakeness. Eventually she succumbed and found herself basking on a warm rock with two canines snuggled up to her. She blinked. And blinked some more. Little fly was named Hemlock it seemed. And her dogs, still snuggled up and into her hair were Poppy and Wolfsbane. See through, Wolfsbane might make a nice companion for Key. Perhaps even for Spook and Spindrift. A little hunting rainbow. She yawned. Hemlock did not get the hint. She just prattled on and on about her adventure and how she discovered and now claimed the island.

Good luck with that smiled Doom. She leaned back and took survey of the place. Lush, quiet, a nice place for her retreat. And profitable in terms of prey according to her little fly. But the sun started to wane and the moon was rearing its silver curl of a tail. The shadows shifted and it was then she saw her little fly was just more then pudgy. Rolling over, she detangled the canines from her long hair, watching the slithering strands stroke them with gentle whispers of heat. It caught Hemlock by surprise. Giving a sweet yelp, the little acha stood her ground as Doom regained her glorious height.

"Little fly, this is my land, but I'll make sure your babies will be numerous and good scouts" for my own taking was the unsaid part. Shifting to fly, she took to the skies to share the news of the island with her beautiful kin.

Hemlock stood transfixed to the spot until finally stretching forward with her rump in the air. Shaking her head a bit from the stupor of seeing a legendary kimeti shift, a rarity just in spotting one in existence already. She really didn't think she was showing. She had some more adventure in her yet. Hemlock went to look for the red buck.
