General Tao stepped to the booth. The gruff man looked up at the floating armor. "Watching or participating?"
General Tao simply answered. "Participating."
General Tao was then giving a one use key. "To your left. Down the stairs."
General Tao turned to go down the stairs. Wish me luck...
Once he got down the stairs. He immediately joined the crowd of people. The one man began to sigh people up. Once everyone was signed up. He simply stated. "No rounds. You will all go against the champion himself. Immediately. No waiting, no other contestants, no obstacles. It will be you and him. One on One... All I can say is good luck. Your all going to need it..."
General Tao was last in... so he was last to go...

Aster followed Tao. The man asked her the same question and she said she'd be watching, so he pointed towards the direction that led to the crowd. "Good luck!" she said before making her way to the stands. She found an empty seat close to the edge where she'd have a better view.
(My bad, I'm scatterbrained)

The Champion of the Arena looked to be a towering golem. Made of solid adamantium. Though he was flexibly and quick. It seemed that he was also incredibly strong.
The announcer spoke. "Welcome Everyone in this special match against the masses! The Arena Champion is tired of constestants killing themselves before they get to him. So for this time only. He is offering a special offer. Beat him, and he will grant you one wish!"
Everyone began to cheer. Confetti and gold was showering in the arena already.
"So without further delay. Let's get the numbers on there way in!"
One by one. Strong warriors were defeated my The Arena Champion. It mostly seemed like The Arena Champion was playing with them. Moving and swaying. Stumbling purposely against blows. Then when things started to look good for The Challengers. Out of seemingly no where The Champion would turn the tide. Fouling the challenger in a single blow. As the challengers were defeated. General Tao meditated inside. Waiting for his time...

Aster watched the Champion take down each contestant with daunting ease. He didn't even look like he was trying to inflict damage. She sat at the edge of her seat and began to feel nervous for Tao. She had faith in his skills, but this guy was just brutal. What if he crushed him too? What if a blow ruined his armor? Since he was a spirit it wouldn't affect him much, but he needed this for his cause. It would help a lot, all these people would be cheering for him and suppirting him which was what he needed.

"Hey, Buddy. Your up next!"
General Tao stood up and looked at the steel grated gate. "It's time for another test..."
He continued onward. Basking in the light of the arena. The crowd cheered as he entered. Mostly waiting for him to get squashed against the wall of his enemy.
The Champion of The Arena stood in front of General Tao. "Whenever your ready. I wouldn't want to destroy you like I did the rest."
General Tao shook his head. "I hope your ready for defeat... I plan on crushing you under my blade." Drawing DragonBane he spun it in front of him. The mere spinning caused the sand to push around him. Once he was done showing off, he brought the blade in front of him. "Hope you learned how to dance with dragons, because that's the only thing that will happen!"
The Arena Champion scoffed. "Let's see what your made of!"
The Arena Champion knew this was going to be harder than normal. He lifted his hand and 3 blades formed around General Tao.
General Tao looked about. Seeing the blades... already things were getting interesting...

The crowd roared with delight sensing a good battle. Up until now the Champion hasn't bothered to use that attack at the begginning of the duel, and the crowd knew it. Aster watched silently, paying no attention to the buffons around her screaming. Most of the crowd was cheering for the champion to beat Tao into the dust. Aster cupped her hands around her mouth "You can beat him General Tao!" she yelled, doubting he'd hear since her voice was drowned out by all the other yelling and cheering.

General Tao's Aura turned bright blue. "Dragon Dance: Tsunami." He pulse of cold air flowed around him as dragon bane was covered with a chilling water constantly flowing around him. All 3 blades began to attack viciously. Though somehow blocked by the water. The water began to cycle around him. Condensing into a flurry of blades of there own.
The Guardian Champion was astonished. He couldn't believe this. No matter... He moved forward. Raising both hands to crush his opponent with his might. Clenching them down he began to swing them down to crush his foe...

The crowd continued to cheer. Seeing the champion's move that he has used to end many opponents, they began to cheer "Crush him! Crush him!" Aster continued to watch silently.

"Winds of War!"
He swung his blade within the circle of water blades. Which caused them to disperse. The air took shape of strangely condense winds. Cutting the arcane blades, causing them to shatter. When he swung his blade. It struck The Arena Champions Arms. A loud ring could be heard through out the stadium as even this ring pushed against both of them. Though neither of them budged. Just as the clouds was dying down. Another 9 blades attempted to strike at The Arena Champion. Though a small bubble obsorbed the blows. Each causing a small ripple against it.
The Arena Champion summoned more weapons, though when he looked to give them their target. General Tao was gone! Though shortly enough he would know why...
General Tao had jumped into the air! He was practically soaring on his own will power. His blade echoed with Sonic energy. He simple said. "Thunder!" He Landed on The Arena Champions shoulder. Stabbing the blade into it. The sonic energy began to vibrate and melt the metal... but unknowingly to most. It was shattering the wooden insides of his armor! The arm of The Arena Champion fell off. Hitting the sand... General Tao jumping off of him to avoid an easy attack.

The Arena Champion looked at his arm now on the ground. Turning around to face General Tao. It was obvious that he had lost, but he might as well please the crowd... He quietly spoke to General Tao. "Just take my other arm, I will feint defeat, and we can talk about your wish."
General Tao nodded, obviously he needed to win. "Unstoppable force!" He began to charge with electricity. He actually plowed through The Arena Champions legs, causing him to fall on his stomach. When General Tao turned back to attack the arm of the now fallen champion. "Thunder." Jamming his sword into the other shoulder for his final blow. The arm tore a sunder. The Champion 'tried' to rise off the ground, but could not... without arms, there was no way he could get up. Literally, there was no way it was going to happen.
Everyone stopped... waiting for The Arena Champions response to the loss of his arms. He turned his head to General Tao. With a booming voice he spoke. Drowning out even the most enthusiastic of fans. "I... I admit defeat..."

There was an odd silence in the crowd for a few seconds before the crowd began to cheer again, this time for the new Arena champion, though many didn't know his name so they just yelled. Aster smilled a bit feeling relieved. Confetti and simple pyrotechnics shot out onto the stage celebrating a new winner, the first one in a very long time.

General Tao looked around to watch the crowd cheering. Though not his name. It was a praise he hadn't heard for centuries. To bad no matter how many praised him, it wouldn't make him feel any different.
The Ex-arena champion was watching General Tao. "What do you want? Do you wish to have riches beyond your wildest dreams? Power? Or something else on your mind?"
General Tao looked down to him. "None of those things. For none of those will get me anything."
The Ex-arena Champion laughed. "If you didn't defeat me for those. Then what is your wish?"
General Tao simply stated. "I wish to have an audience with our king."
The champion was rather astonished. He was silent for a moment. "I can see to it... you can count on that."
General Tao continued. "As a request to you. I am gathering an army, and I wish you to join it."
The Ex-arena Champion scoffed. "What makes you think I would join an army?"
General Tao added. "Does silvia... ring a bell. She came to me. She said I could find help here. If the stories are true... then those markings on your armor means... Need I say more?"
The champion sighed. "No... I understand. You are her chosen?"
He nodded. "Then I have another duty to uphold. However, it will intertwine with yours. That is for certain. We will meet again outside of this arena."
General Tao slung his sword over his shoulder and onto his back. "I'll see you then. Armour."
The Ex-Champion laid in the sand. No one... and he meant no one. Had defeated him. Let alone called him that name. He must be the chosen... ______________________________________________________________
General Tao left the arena. Heading back down into the pits. Ignoring everyone else who tried to congratulate him. He walked past them as if they had nothing to offer. Standing outside of the whole Arena. He waited for his partner.

As soon as She saw General Tao leave the arena Aster weaved her way out of the cheering crowd. She made her way out of the crowded Arena and looked around for General Tao. She soon spotted him and walked up to him. "Congratulations on your win." she said with a small smile. "You definitelly have the people's respect."

"That was the goal. Now I have to find myself some suitable armor. I can't very well speak to The King in this..." He looked at his Skrill armor. "No offense, but as light as it is. It's fragile and terribly to look upon... though by far better than my true form."
