I'll bite with some boring minis I love to death.

The Astropath and Imperial Navy officer are both some of the best sculpts ever done by Juan Diaz, the guy who has had a heavy hand in Space Marine and Dark Eldar designs. The astropath is true to the source materials: A lack of eyes, robes to hide the wasted body, a staff with a badge of office on it. The naval officer is taken straight from the pages of Jes Goodwin's design books, wearing the proper uniform and accoutrements.
Another personal all-time favourite has got to be the Cadian company commander, sculpted by Brian Nelson and picked by none other than Jes Goodwin as the first mini to enter Citadel's hall of fame:

He's standing there, at guard, holding the sword with his thumb and index finger, his other hand balled behind his back. Aside from the armour, the model is clean, simple and a nice straight vertical line that shows us a mini that can come across as haughty, or commanding.
Main reason I like these miniatures is because they do not need to scream or hold weapons in the air to show off their power and purpose. The hobby is already filled to the brim with stuff like that, I'm glad to see some other minis out there that break away from the masses and do their own thing, with a quiet, muted dignity.
