It was his first festival and he had to admit that he was rather delighted over which one it was. The essential ideas of it all were explained and it was something that he had to admit that he rather liked the idea of, the thought of the dead coming back from Hell to roam around, he couldn't help but to wonder if he might actually see one of them! He really did hope so! It would be so much to fun to stumble across a ghost! His unique, two toned eyes seemed to glitter in excitement from where he was perched on the shoulders of his guardian of sorts, though if you asked Fu Ts'ang the man should be more of a servant. After all how many times had Dao Ye Shou told him that he was a dragon, one born of the King of Flowers? As such he must be something special, powerful, and wonderful, right? It was why he felt that all should bow before him. A little arrogant, sure, but that was just how he was being raised and prepared for life was all, he'd even been given a rather wonderful gift not too long ago to who just how much he meant to his guardian/servant.
"I expect that you will behave yourself once we arrive? I have matters to attend to so you will be wandering around on your own." Dao Ye Shou suddenly said, drawing the dragon's attention from the fact that he was starring ahead at the city they were approaching and instead he was looking down at his guardian now. The man had 'matters to attend to' which only meant one of two things, a contract that would be carried out or he was going to visit those painted up women at one of the brothels they always seemed to find their way to. It was something he'd found to be rather dull if you asked him, he was always left waiting out front while a bunch of strong smelling, heavily painted women went on about how cute he was. While true they still grated on him, he felt that those who would end up serving him in the future were going to be different, how exactly he couldn't describe yet. The only upside to those women was acting cute around them and dealing with them often netted him snacks and gifts, something he was only too happy to receive. It only made sense, one was supposed to give offerings to those who were powerful, right? He was powerful, he was a dragon after all and he deserved all offerings sent his way.
As they reached the edge of town Fu Ts'ang, dressed in his finest, was removed from his perch and placed on hsi feet, "Behave yourself." He was told yet again, "I will find you once I am through." The man said, about to walk away when the dragon caught hold of his robes and gave them a tug before holding out a hand. Dao Ye Shou starred at him for a long moment, sighed, and took out one of his pouches of money and tossed it to him, "Don't spend it all in one place." He said before he pulled up his hood and seemed to all but vanished into the shadows.
The fact that he was trying to blend in so well made Fu Ts'ang suspect that it was a contract that had brought them here, "One more ghost to wander around I suppose." He said to himself, shook the pouch of money, giving a grin as he guessed at the amount. Mimicking his guardian he tucked the pouch away into his clothing where it wouldn't be noticed and rushed on ahead into the city. He had things to do, treasures to find, ghosts to meet, and perhaps he could find a servant or two that could accompany him for the night? With so many ideas on how he was going to be spending his night hsi guardian and whatever work the man might be up to was quickly forgotten. All that mattered was his own good time since the his guardian was no longer here. The phrase out of sight, out of mind seemed to fit well for his situation it would appear.
As he walked along, picking up some free food here and there as it seemed some people were eager to give it out to travelers, Fu Ts'ang took in the sights. He had to admit that it was one time where he was actually rather happy that his guardian had the job that he had. Sure it took them to interesting places at times but there were other times when he was left home on his own, told to keep himself out of sight and to behave until he returned. Those were the most boring of times given he found he really, really didn't like to be alone. He felt as though at all times there should be someone there to be at his beck and call... which there often wasn't, not to mention that Dao Ye Shou wasn't very good about being that person either. Someone of his standing wasn't meant to be a nursemaid or so the man often said. He supposed, to a point at least, he understood why they couldn't have any servants but that didn't make him want one any less.
"Hrm..." Maybe they needed a blind or mute servant he found himself thinking as he walked along munching on the offerings he'd been given, thinking over this new plan of his. A servant like that, one unable to identify his guardian because either he couldn't see the man or because he was unable to speak to tell the authorities, it was an idea that had merit. Perhaps he should keep his eye out for such a person and use the coin he'd been given to hire them on? Or better yet, if they were someone else's servant, he could just buy the person. He wasn't sure why but today for some reason he was getting a lot of good ideas, ones that he might normally not even consider or might find appalling. Now though he couldn't help but to think that buying himself a servant seemed like a rather good idea. Grinning from ear to ear he headed on his way he kept is uniquely colored eyes open for any person that fit the description that he currently had in his head... though he wasn't exactly sure what the odds were that he might find such a person in such a short amount of time. He couldn't help but think now was the time when he could use more people around to aid him in his quest. An amusing thought, wishing he had servants around to aid him in finding another servant. But no, this was something it seemed had to do on his own.
Giving a somewhat determined nod of his head he continued along on his way, stopping from time to time to watch people as they went about the customs that were tied to this particular festival, to take some food for himself from those handing it out, all while keeping his eyes peeled for potential servants as well as ghost. He couldn't forget about those he told himself, not about to allow his hunt for a companion of sorts override his desire to find and confront a ghost. He could only hope that it was a scary one! He was almost certain that he could deal with it! It would seem his normal arrogance was on a higher level today, never a good thing. As he walked along the sound of a voice singing drew the boy's attention off both of his quests, making him look around from side to side, before he turned off his current path so that he could seek the sound out, finding that he rather liked it.
Liu Sheng, the beautiful voice that seemed capable of luring in dragons, was sitting off to one side, watching the proceedings of the festival and seemed to be enjoying himself well enough. Another year, another chance to escape Hell for a day to spend it among the living. There were a few out there, though they were few and far between, that could see him. It was those that he liked to spend the most time with though there were others that, while unable to see him, were able to hear his voice. It was something that he always seemed to enjoy, watching as the living went about trying to find where the singing was coming from when he was nearly underfoot for them. He knew it probably wasn't nice of him to tease the living but it was something he couldn't resist doing a bit. There was something about teasing men, powerful ones especially, that Liu Sheng enjoyed. Likely because such men hadn't made his living years the most enjoyable.
Giving a little smile he let his last note draw out and his song ended, leaving the people looking around for him to head on their way, seeming to give up their search one the song ended. There was no other way to follow after him other then that song after all, not that it would have led them to him though, not exactly. Leaning back the man let his dark eye sink closed for a moment, relaxing and just enjoying the peaceful moment... but those sorts of moments were never to last, were they?
"Hey! Why did you stop singing? I just found you!" Came a voice that had a complaining edge to it. Upon hearing it, and realizing that he'd been found by one of those few people that seemed able to see him, Liu Sheng let his eyes slid open once more to stare at the fancily dressed boy before him. He was different then the one last year and yet he couldn't help but to stare at him, "You are..." He wasn't sure what it was about this one but he held Liu Sheng in place with just his gaze and then he realized what it was. This one reminded him a bit of his former master's children, they too were dressed in nice clothing, had that arrogant and spoiled look to them, and they too tended to order him around. It was a memory that caused him to sort of freeze in place as if expecting his Master to appear as well... but it would seem as if that were just a nightmare, not something that might actually happen.
His continued silence caused the young boy with the strange eyes and pretty pink hair to step in closer to him, reaching out to catch hold of the hem of his robes which were rather pretty in their own right, "Come on, keep singing!" Fu Ts'ang said in a demanding manner and the ghost could only give a nod of his head and comply, never able to resist following the orders of one that was his better, it just seemed in his nature to do so after many years of training. It wasn't too long before the man was once more singing, his seeming to almost instantly tame the boy and make him smile, making him wonder what he was exactly. Wasn't to dragons that seemed to be tamed by music? Surely this boy couldn't be one though, could he? The idea caused him to almost miss a note but he came back strong with his singing, not wanting to falter before what might be a Heavenly Beast in disguise.
When the song that Liu Sheng was singing ended he turned his attention to the one before him, giving him a hopeful sort of glance. He wasn't sure why, likely due to his life serving such people, but he felt the overwhelming urge to have the boy actually enjoy the song. It wasn't as though he could do too much against him though he he didn't enjoy though, right? He couldn't really say though, what powers might a dragon hold sway over after all? He might be able to smite him, spirit or not, and that wasn't exactly something that the singer wanted to risk any time soon. Instead he merely sat there and waited for some sort of response from the dragon and when he gave a nod he felt as though he might very well faint dead away in relief, before questioning whether or not a spirit could faint or not.
"That was neat." Fu Ts'ang announced, sounding quite pleased with the fact that the man had obeyed him and sang him such a nice song, while he wasn't exactly the sort that cared one way or another about music he felt as though he rather liked that song, more so then the songs he'd heard in the various brothels he was left sitting in front of while his guardian did... whatever it was that he did within them. All he knew was when he was done the man was in a better mood then was normal for him so he didn't mind him visiting them all that much, even if it were a rather dull sort of wait at times, "Alright, come on then." He bade the other, "I don't know about your plans but I am not spending my entire time at this festival in an alleyway. This is the first one I have been able to attend and I am going to enjoy it to the fullest. It's going to be great! I am going to meet all sorts of ghosts I just know it!" He announced, seemingly oblivious to the fact that he was conversing with, and ordering around, one of them.
Turning on his heel Fu Ts'ang moved to start on his way out of the alleyway and without even thinking on it, or considering what it was that he was doing, Liu Sheng fell into step alongside. He found himself wondering if he should tell the boy that he was one of those ghosts that he was so determined to meet with but decided against it. Might as well just enjoy the fact that someone was wanting to spend the festival with him. It was odd, it seemed that each time he came out to visit with others during this time he always tended to find himself an interesting sort of companion. Last year it was the white haired boy with the dragon companion and now it was another dragon walking around in human form. It really did make it worth coming back to this place time and again, he could only imagine what next year might bring, "So where is it that we are heading, my temporary Master?" He asked of the young boy with the pink hair, curious as to whether or not he might have a real goal in mind or not. He said that this was his first festival and he couldn't help but to be curious as to why he hadn't been to one thus far. He would have to ask if the opportunity arose for him to do so.
To say that Fu Ts'ang was a little oblivious to things that weren't in his own little world was an understatement, it was likely why he hadn't realized that the one that he had following him around and was ordering around wasn't quite normal. He was just happy to have someone to talk to, someone to boss around, and someone that made it so that he wasn't alone. He was alone too much due to his guardian's job and as such he enjoyed the times when someone was there. It was just a shame that the man didn't really enjoy having guests over, it was why he felt as though he really needed to get himself a servant. If he had a servant at least he would have someone around at all times to spend his time with... until the day when he got himself one of those though he was stuck on his own. His guardian really was overly paranoid, then again given what little Fu Ts'ang knew of the man's job and family both were equally as dangerous and left him with many enemies. It was a good explanation for why they were on their own but it didn't make things any easier on someone with a child's mind.
"I have some coin so I think we should go and get something to eat." He told Liu Sheng who was following along behind him in a diligent fashion, one that Fu Ts'ang had to appreciate. He rather enjoyed this guy and hoped that his guardian would allow him to take this man home with them. What was better after all then someone so loyal, one that followed orders so well, and one that also sang so well. Those songs, as well as this one's beautiful voice, was what really sold him on wanting to keep him. What was better then someone that could entertain as well as serve? Then there was the fact that he was rather pretty, it would surely make Dao Ye Shou like him more as well since the man seemed to prefer beautiful people when it came to those that he spent extended periods of time with, like those painted women from the brothels he frequented. Only this one was better, he just knew it!
Giving a bit of a sighing sound of contentment as they left the darkened alleyway and came back onto the streets he looked from side to side then motioned, "I think we will go there." He said, pointing to one of the many venders that were out today, they had treats out on display, ones that smelled really, really good, and he couldn't resist as he drifted forward toward where they were set up. No reason not to go and get some of those when they were looking so good he thought to himself, grinning in a happy manner as he trotted over to where the treats were being sold.
Behind him, one hand lifted to hide his laughter with his sleeve, the spirit of Liu Sheng followed along behind the little dragon, not minding at all that he had taken charge. Most likely it was his role as a follower that made such a thing easy, but really he couldn't find it in him mind, not really. If anything this was a rather pleasant distraction and he was able to follow around a kid that was sweet enough, quite amusing, if a little dense. Better that then someone like the man he had served in the past he thought to himself idly, shrugged that line of thought off, and continued to follow along after Fu Ts'ang until they reached the food vender, watching quietly as the boy went about picking what it was that he wanted from the mass of good looking foods that were presented to him.

"Come up, come up, come up~ We have all sorts of treats here!" A bright and chipper voice called out to the passing crowd from behind the stall which Fu Ts'ang approached. While the women of his ever traveling troupe stood to the sides, handing out little samples and finishing purchases, he standing up high, so he could see everyone, doing little tricks to attract attention.
Needless to say, it worked rather well, From various directions along the street, people began to approach the stand, some dragged forward by little children, thrilled with the neat little flips and balancing the boy was doing ontop of his stool. But something no, someone caught his eye, and he couldn't help but bound off to greet the newcomers to his stand.
"Hello Hello Hello!" He chirped to the two coming up to to the stand, both appearing to be about his age. "Are you hungry? I rather like you two, so how about I give you a discount? BUT, but but but but, that only applies if you would tell me your names~!"
When the rather bouncy blond came over his way Fu Ts'ang couldn't help but to stare for a moment, wondering what sort of strange creature he was. That hair... it reminded the dragon of gold and he wanted nothing more then to reach forward and grab hold of it to see if it were as luxurious and rare as it appeared to be... he started to reach forward toward him, about to do just that, when the other offered them a discount on their treats so long as they shared their names with the boy. He shifted in place, thinking on that one. Should he share his name? He knew that he was supposed to be careful, but at the same time a discount on the treats meant that he would be able to buy himself that much more stuff with the money that Dao Ye Shou had given him. That was more then worth it and he highly doubted that this golden haired acrobat knew who his father was so surely he couldn't go and tell anyone, right? Right!
Patting a hand against his chest the little pink haired boy said, "My name is Fu Ts'ang, this is my servant." He said, lifting his hand up to motion at Liu Sheng who once more chuckled into his sleeve, seeming to be amused by his temporary Master.
Giving a smile the older male who appeared as though he were an older teen from the looks of him, then again given the surgery he'd gone through when he was alive he was left looking a lot more youthful then his true age. Not as though either of the little ones would be likely to know about such things, "Liu Sheng is my name." He murmured quietly once he got his soft laughter under control, not wanting to insult the dragon that he was serving for the night. He gave a slight bow to the acrobat, ever the sort to bend knee to those who were more aggressive then he was, which was just about everyone out there.
Fu Ts'ang gave a firm nod of his head before turning back to the golden haired child before him, "Yes, so that is our names. Now, about that discount?" He wanted treats, lots of them, and at a cheaper price was wonderful! Digging into his robes where he had hidden his purse he looked into it before asking, "So how much do they cost?" Best to ask before flashing what coin he had he thought to himself, not wanting for the guy to overcharge him to start with them give him a discount down to a normal price because he saw that the dragon had money.
"Ooh.. You two are quite the pair~ And Such lovely names as well! Of course, of course, the discount." He turned to see what the boys had chosen already, his hair following as he twisted and turned, ever the acrobatic. They had all sorts of things at their stand. Fresh breads and pastries, salted meats and fish to snack on, even a nice little hot meat bun to share with everyone. And the best there was was the sweets.
Oh yes, the sweets.. So many, in every way shape and form. Lollipops, chocolates, taffy, butter toffee.. So many that Renshu knew he'd never be able to taste them all before they sold out. He drooled and whined on the inside, knowing that all the delectable things were forbidden to him. Of course, that didn't mean he couldn't give out freebies as incentives for customers, right?
"Sure thing, How about.. Half price, plush a free meatpie? Since you were all so gracious to tell me your names.. And after you're all full, how about we play some, or go exploring? It's been so longer since I've seen some independent children! I'm sure we could have alot of fun together!"
Fu Ts'ang was, for a moment at least, quiet as he debated over that price. So, everything would be half price for him due to him giving his name over to the golden haired boy and he would also get a free meat pie along with his order? Well then, that sounded as though it would be a deal that was well worth his coin. After a moment he gave a nod of his head as well as a smile, "Sounds fair." He said before he set about pointing at the various things he wanted, quite a bit for someone his size but he meant to share with Liu Sheng, he was being a good servant after all, as well as with Dao Ye Shou when the man reappeared before him. He was busy at the moment but once he was done with work Fu Ts'ang was sure that the man would be hungry, he would be sure to save the meat pie for him.
"Hrm?" When the other mentioned playing or exploring he looked around for a moment, then back to the acrobat, "You want to travel with us?" He asked, looking as if he were debating over that one for a moment. Well, it wouldn't be so bad, would it? His own personal acrobat to go along with the singer that he'd picked up, he really wouldn't need much more in the way of entertainment, that was for sure. He gave a sharp nod of his head, "I can allow for that." As though Renshu was waiting with bated breath, hoping to be lucky enough to travel with Fu Ts'ang. In the mind of the dragon though it was exactly like that, all should feel lucky to be able to travel with him, he was a dragon king after all!
Taking out the appropriate coins he offered them to the blond, "Here you go, that should cover what I want to buy, yes?" He was eager to dig in so he waited in a slightly impatient manner for the other to bag up his purchases for him and hand them over. Only once that was done would he stop shifting in place in such an impatient manner, hands itching to take hold of the treats that were his, wanting to dig in immediately. Behind him once more the spirit was smiling in an amused manner, seeming to be having a much better time this go around when it came to the festival, last year wasn't bad but this year felt far more exciting to him.
"Ah.. So you're one of those kinda people..." Renshu murmured quietly to himself, packaging up the treats and grinning. He had met lots of impatient people before, but it had been a while since on as young as himself had appeared before him as such. His gaze turned to the boy that was standing behind Fu Ts'ang. A pretty, quiet teen he was!
After hastily shoving the bag of goodies into the pink kid's hands, he turned around and when behind the stand. "I have something special for you, yes!" He called out, digging through a small burlap bag, where he kept a special fruit all his own. "Yes! Yes, I found it!"
Covering the fruit with his hands, he came over to the ghostly child and smiled wide.
"You are just... So absolutely stunning and quite and different than this one right here, "He pointed his thumb to Fu Ts'ang, paying him no mind, "That I feel like I need to give you something exclusively for you!" His hands parted, revealing a small, single bergamot orange. It's skin almost reminded one of a lemon, the way it looked and the crevices that covered it's surface.
"This, my dear, is one of the best thing's you'll come across! No, no, you do not eat this fruit, for it is too strong, far far too strong, yes, but you can brew tea with it! An absolutely divine tea, so divine that those from Europe constant crave it! Yes, as we here love our own lovely teas, the tea that can be brewed from this is called 'Earl Grey'. It is simply divine, I tell you! If I may be so bold to ask, perhaps I can personally brew you a cup, rather than being driven around town rather aimlessly. " His grin simply wided at the little attack made at Fu Ts'ang. It wasn't as if the boy didn't like him, they had only just met, but life was always a little better when there was trouble to be caused.
"What do you say, my friend? Tea and sweets in my opera house sounds better than wandering the streets, no? Of course, your companion my join too, but meat buns don't stay hot forever~"
Needless to say Liu Sheng was a little surprised by the gift that was given over to him, cupping it in his hands, and gazed down at the piece of fruit as though it were made of solid gold before he gave a bit of a smile, "Thank you." He murmured in a quiet, musical tone of voice. It really was a nice gift, one that he would treasure, though he wasn't sure if he would have the time to brew it up in tea given that he was currently busy following along after his temporary master, Fu Ts'ang. He bowed his head in a polite manner to Renshu before he turned to look over at the pink haired boy, wondering what he might think about the invitation issued to them. It was a chance to go into the opera house to get a look around, and to have some tea.
Things that sounded nice to him but he wasn't sure what Fu Ts'ang might think of the idea. His Master did seem as though he wanted to keep going, seeming to be enjoying his first festival to the fullest, even if he did seem as if he were ordering about all of those that he came in contact with for more then a few moments. It must just be a part of being a dragon, to have such arrogance. It did cause others to follow his lead though, Liu Sheng included.
As it stood the dragon boy seemed to be thinking on the offer quite hard, tucking the bag of treats under his arm as he glanced toward the building that they would be going into to have the tea. It sounded as though the blond was planning to make the tea for them, that was a plus. If there was one thing that the pink haired dragon liked it was those that served him in such a way, then add in that he found himself favoring this particular person due to the color of his hair and he was able to make the decision easily enough, "A bit of down time is alright but I mean to do a bit more adventuring tonight before my guardian reappears and spoils it all." He said, making a waving motion with his free hand toward Renshu.
He supposed that he could allow it, for this one to take lead for a short time so long as he didn't think for even a moment that he was the leader of this little group. If anyone was the leader here it was going to be him. This was after all just a little distraction from his real mission tonight, Fu Ts'ang didn't mean to spend all of his time just sitting around in some opera house when there was a whole town to explore that was so different from where he came from. Still, he supposed a small break to sit down, eat snacks and drink tea was welcome enough given that it was quite difficult to walk and eat without messing up ones clothing and he would be damned if he ruined the pretty things that Dao Ye Shou had bought for him. If he got them all mucked up the man would never buy him anything nice again, of that he was certain.
How amusing! This little pink boy seemed to think he was in charge! What a lovely character he was indeed.. All the better to mess with, in Renshu's mind. Oh what fun this little adventure would be!
"Well then, m'dear, shall we be off?" The blonde child just grinned at Liu Sheng, taking his hand and threading their fingers together, pulling the other along at an easy pace, not wanting to pull his arm off with his eagerness. He turned his head for just a moment, to make sure that the other was following behind. It didn't take them long to reach the moderately sized wooden building. It was two stories high, with the first floor's ceiling reaching higher than that of the second. It was dimly lit, with the shutters closed, letting only faint strips of light filter through. After entering through a second set of doors, it darkened significantly more, as the light in the open room came only from a few lanterns dangling from above the risen stage. As soon as they were inside, Renshu let go of his new found friend's hand, and racing towards the stage, letting his top layer slip off and making a rather flashy sprung round off back handspring back tuck right onto the stage, landing where the light was brightest. He had always enjoyed showing off to people; though his life had just barely begun, he found great joy in bringing astonishment to other people's faces. With an ostentatious wave of his hand, and a loud, sigh, he addressed his companions.
"This is my home, my life, my world, this place, a glorious place that changes it's inside more often than the sky changes colors. This place of magical wonder and amusement, filling my very being with glee and mischievousness. Let you mind be opened to the opportunities that flow throughout the air, the possibilities are as limitless as the cosmos above you!" Each word was accompanied by exaggerated waves of his hand, and a wide smile.
"Please, please, please, new and dear friends, join me on stage! We shall have our tea here, where we can all be the stars of our own private show~" If he were more like the older actors here, he'd accompany his words with a wink and an eyebrow wiggle, but since he was attempting to be earnest, he'd try to keep his jokes to a minimum. Renshu took a moment to disappear off stage, only to comeback with three large dark blue cushions, arranging them in the light in a small triangle.
"Take a seat, take a seat! I will get our tea! Right away, right away!"

Liu Sheng looked down at the boy who took hold of his hand, their fingers lacing together, before he glanced over at his temporary master with a slightly worried look on his face. It never was good when one person with a strong personality tried to take the servant of another person with a similar personality. Fu Ts'ang didn't seem too terribly amused when Renshu took Liu Sheng's hand but for the moment he wasn't throwing a fit, that was a good sign. He didn't want to be the cause of the two boys fighting after all, not when they had a similar feel to them, one that led him to believe that if they tried they might be able to be friends... that or they would end up butting heads like a couple of tiny sheep.
Following along after the pair the dragon gave a little grumbling a sound, a part of him wanting to grab the pair to tear them apart... but decided that, due to the fact that they were both on the level of servants in his mind that things should be alright. As they stepped into the opera house he couldn't help but to go a little wide eyed, forgetting himself for a moment as he starred openly, "This is... wow..." He murmured, following along after the pair before him, nearly bumping into Liu Sheng when Renshu let go of him so that he could go and get onto the stage in a rather flashy manner. He wasn't sure if he should applaud for him given that it was a good show that the blond was putting on for him or if he should roll his eyes because he was showing off. In the end he decided to do neither, instead stepping around Liu Sheng so that he could watch as Renshu set about gathering items up to make them a comfortable place to sit down to enjoy the tea that he would be making for them, "Come on then, Liu Sheng, let's see about that tea that he is gonna make for us. Maybe he will use that fruit he gave you." He wondered idly if the servant would want to give it up since he seemed to be treasuring the piece of fruit, having tucked it safely away as though afraid it would get bruised up for something.
As his Master started forward Liu Sheng moved to do the same, giving pause only when he felt another set of eyes on him. Turning slowly he glanced over at an older male, sitting down off to the side, taking a rest from the looks of him. A squeak sound, one that wasn't often heard from the composed Liu Sheng, as the man gave him a smile and commented, "Ohhh, you are one of them." He said to him, something that caused him to take a couple steps back away from him. Wait what? What did he mean by that? What did he mean by 'one of them, did he know exactly what he was in a way that the boys didn't seem to know?
The man gave a chuckled seeing the look on Liu Sheng's face, "It's alright, I won't be telling anyone, besides why worry? This festival is one where everyone, even those like you, should be able to rest and relax." The old monk said, waving a hand at Liu Sheng, "Go play now, you should be enjoying yourself with your interesting little friends in a way you normally aren't allowed. If you want to talk with me do so later." Those boys were special in their own way, he could see it in the aura around them, not to mention the odd scent that followed them, that showed that they weren't exactly human. They were something more.
Liu Sheng nodded, bowed, and hurried along after Fu Ts'ang once more, wanting to keep up with the two of them. With a hand from his Master he got up into the stage, something that was a little difficult given his heavy, elaborate clothing, and then moved to settle down on one of the pillows that had been set up for them. He was smoothing his hands over his clothing, giving the occasional glance toward the monk from time to time, while his Master merely plopped down onto his pillow and dug into the bag of treats he carried, "Do either of you want some?" He asked of them after devouring the first treat that he'd pulled out of the bag and stuffed into his mouth. These were rather tasty, weren't they? He was glad he ran across the golden haired boy he thought to himself, giving Renshu a glance and a slight smile.
The boy's movements were almost frantic as he scurried back and forth across the stage. On the left, the fire was heating up the kettle, on the right, his station of grinding all the tea was set up. If Renshu stopped catastrophe would strike, he was certain! Despite all of his actions seeming clumsy, unplanned and very awkward to watch, he knew exactly what he was doing. This wasn't his first time pulling in strangers he had though seemed interesting.
Though it seemed rude to think, this wasn't his first time bringing in random riffraff off the streets to be entertained by him. It was advertising, after all. To know that a 'sweet' young child with such ravishing blonde hair and such bright eyes would come in and take it out of his time to serve someone tea, well, that has certainly given the theater a better reputation it has had in a long time.
"Oh my dear friends, it is almost ready! I'm certain you both will enjoy it~" He came in close to Liu Sheng, whispering rather sweetly into his ear. "Especially you." Pulling away, Renshu flashed a grin to Fu, wondering if his little actions were enough to ruffle the pink one's feather, just a wee bit.
"Ooh, a treat, huh? Why thank you!" Without hesitation, he pulled one of the treats from the bag, and giving it a nice, hearty bite, before going back over to the pot to finish the preparations.
"Do either of you take anything with your tea? I personally love adding an extra slice of Bergamot to the side, then again, I could eat the whole thing by myself! That tangy tartness on the tip of my tongue just thrills me like none other!" A very brief thought of the possibility of such a love of the fruit being almost cannibalistic crossed his mind, but he pushed it aside, preparing to bring the tea over to the others.
Fu Ts'ang couldn't help but think that watching the blond as he ran around was a touch on the dizzying side, he really was an energetic sort of creature wasn't he? It really made him want to do nothing more then to reach out, catch hold of his wrist, and drag him down so that he sitting so that he wouldn't have to watch him scurry about in such a manner. It was something that he didn't do though, instead allowing him to go about his business since otherwise he wouldn't get his tea. Given that tea was the whole reason he and his servant had come into this place it would be quite a wasted trip if they didn't even get any. He would just have to put up with the fact that this boy was rather... odd, putting it mildly.
When Renshu announced that the tea was almost ready and that he hoped that they enjoyed it he couldn't help but hope the same. Would be nice if the tea were actually worthy of the dramatics that the golden haired boy was putting into the making of it. The dragon's eye gave the slightest twitch though when it seemed as though the blond were giving his servant far, far too much attention. It made him wonder what it was that this one was up to, either trying to rub him the wrong way by piling attention and praise upon Liu Sheng, or he was trying to steal him away. Either way it wasn't going to fly with Fu Ts'ang. He'd let it slide, for now at least he didn't want the golden haired boy spitting in his tea or something, but if he kept it up he was going to hear it.
There was another twitch when Renshu suddenly stuffed his hand into the bag grabbing something out to take a bite of it before returning to his work, causing him to think that this one had little in the way of manners. Someone should have trained him better he thought to himself as he looked into the bag to make sure none of the other treats had been disturbed or damaged by the way that Renshu grabbed his without thought or care, "Yes, well it would be rude not to share now wouldn't it?" He said, forcing a smile. No reason to fall to this one's level or appear as rude as he was. Perhaps he just didn't know how he was supposed to act around his betters he thought to himself as he took glanced over at Liu Sheng, "And you?"
"Thank you, young Master." He said, cupping his hands and held them out to him to receive the treat that was handed over to him by the young dragon. It seemed to please him as well as smooth some ruffled feathers to have at Liu Sheng acting in such a way. It was something that the pretty servant did automatically, as well as purposefully. Best to keep them from fighting after all, he'd much prefer that Fu Ts'ang made a friend in this boy since Liu Sheng knew that he wasn't going to be around forever to keep the dragon company. It didn't quite seem like they were hitting it off though, meaning he'd need to try harder to keep them from going at each other. At the mention of adding something to the tea, or taking a piece of the bergamot with it, he found himself wondering if he should take out the one that had been given to him to share it with these two. He knew that he should, it was only right, and his hand even lifted to touch against where he'd hidden the piece of fruit in his robes, but he couldn't quite bring himself to do so. It was the first gift he'd gotten in a while and he wanted to be a little selfish with it, something that was quite unheard of for him since normally he wasn't the sort ot act in that manner, "If I might have something to sweeten the tea? And I don't need a slice of the fruit since you were so kind as to give me one of my own already." Best not to appear as being too selfish by asking for more.
Glancing between the pair for a moment, then back to Renshu, the dragon merely said, "It's fine plain, though I would like to try the bergamot since you are talking it up so much." He wondered if it would be anywhere as good as Renshu was making it out to be, somehow he doubted it but would try it nevertheless. As for wanting the tea plain it was how Dao Ye Shou drank it, save for the times others prepared more fancy tea for him, and as such he meant to emulate his guardian in that manner.
"Oh nonsense! I wouldn't have given it to you, if I had expected you to share it with us!" Renshu brought the tray of tea over, decorated with a little pot of sugar, as well as a very nicely sliced up bit of the bergamont orange. He moved much more slowly than he had previously, as he did not want to drop anything on his new found companions, or to waste any of the tea he had worked so very hard on. How tragic would it be if he had wasted it! He would be simply heartbroken, yes he would!
"I do seem to talk it up quite a bit, don't I?" Renshu gave the pink haired dragon a grin, setting a cup before him, then one before Liu Sheng, finally putting one in front of himself, sitting down, and taking a sip of the tea by himself. "Well... I like to think that this fruit.. This peculiar little green thing is as much a part of my life as this theater is. Think of it as... Just how important your parents are to you. Could you consider living without them? Then again, I do not know much about you, you may not even have a guardian to speak of. But just something so close, so precious that it's deep within your very soul, and if you were to ever part, perhaps you wouldn't feel as if you'd survive for long." The boy's expression faded just a bit, from his so far consistent goofy grin, to one of a more solemn, thoughtful state, as he slowly began to consider who he was, what he was and why he was who he is.
"Perhaps I am being far too dramatic with it's presentation, but this fruit is my life, so to speak. And why not share the happiness of my life with those around me? After all, nothing makes me feel more alive than knowing that I can bring a smile to someone else. But go on now! Dig in and enjoy, don't let my rambling stop you!"
Liu Sheng bowed his head to Renshu in thanks as the other brought him both some sugar to add to his tea as well as a slice of the orange, he felt a bit on the guilty side taking even more of the orange but it seemed that neither the blond who was offering it nor his Master minded. It should be alright then, right? He hesitated for a moment before he set about mixing his tea, holding the cup in his hands, enjoying the warmth of the cup and the sweet scent of it. It really was a wonderful cup of tea, wasn't it? Perhaps in sharing the tea the two younger boys might be able to get along a bit better he thought to himself but kept such a thought to himself. He didn't want to rush the pair of them after all but at the same time he knew that he couldn't stay around forever. It would be nice if his temporary Master was able to make himself a friend before Liu Sheng had to be on his way. That was his hope for the boy at least. For now though he could only watch the pair butt heads and hope for the best.
When Renshu suddenly agree in a way to the fact that he talked a lot Fu Ts'ang gave a nod of his head, as though he agreed wholeheartedly. Yes, he did talk a lot, a whole lot... and he kept talking, explaining to them about the fruit and how it tied to his life. It was a strange sort of story, but at the same time one that the young dragon couldn't help but to find a little fascinating, likely because the blond seemed to have, for at least the telling of it, calmed down a bit. He really was a spaztic creature, wasn't he? Interesting though, it had him reflecting for a moment, wondering if he had something like what this person spoke of. Something precious to his soul, so much so that if parted from that thing that he might fade away? He really couldn't think of something as precious as that to him, something that made him a touch envious of Renshu, not that he would actually admit to that though.
When he suddenly seemed to be apologizing, saying that he was being far too dramatic, Fu Ts'ang gave a nod, "You are an odd one." He told him before he lifted his cup of plain tea up to his lips, taking a sip from it. A fruit that was the blond's life? Was he for real with such a statement? Or was this instead some sort of show to go along with the tea that he was serving to them? He really couldn't be too sure... this place was a flashy opera house, a place meant for putting on a show and this boy one of their workers, it might all just be a way to get a tip from Fu Ts'ang and his servant. That was a passing thought though, the look on Renshu's face seemed to be trustworthy enough, wasn't it?
Liu Sheng looked over at his young master who seemed to be trying to figure something out before he looked to Renshu and gave him a smile, "I think understand what you mean." He murmured, something that was so important that without it one would fade away. Yes, he knew that quite well. While still alive there was that one thing he was known for, kept for, and paraded around for by his former Master, something that was so important that the man had done many things to make sure to preserve that special part of Liu Sheng. The thought drew a soft sigh from him as he lowered his gaze to stare into the depths of his tea, watching as it swirled around in his cup.

For a while, it didn't seem like the other would ever calm down, but the pull of the tea was just too strong, and soon enough, Renshu found his seat next to his two guests. As he began to eat, the tea seemed to consume him, his eyes going hazy as he took up such a sweet and gentle aroma, and his eyes closed as he took a nice long drawl.
There was nothing in this world that could keep him so refreshed and secure feeling.. It was as if he was being swaddled tightly in freshly cleaned blankets. A pleasant pressure on every inch of his body was found until he opened his eyes.
Then.. A rather playfully wicked grin came up upon his rather excited features, as he leaned in close to Fu Ts'ang, whispering softly into his ear.
"With all that talking.. and that this fruit is a part of me.. I could say I'm inside of you. Hehe.. How does that feel..?"

Fu Ts'ang nearly choked on the fruit that he was partaking of when the blond leaned in to whisper into his ear some rather crude words. Once he got his coughing under control he whirled around to glare at him, "You really are a rather base creature, aren't you?" He asked in a disgusted tone, lifting a hand to shove him back toward his own seat, "Don't get so close to me without permission." This boy who was akin to the help, someone who was paid only to pour the tea and put on a show, was getting far to close to him for his own good and it was something that only made the pink haired dragon want to lash out at him. There were those in the world that knew their place, like Liu Sheng, and then there were those like this blond haired brat that just made him want to shake them violently. He really was lucky that he made good tea and had sold him some good treats or else he wouldn't be putting up with his antics he thought to himself.
Turning back to his tea he looked down at it, down to the fruit that he was given, then tossed the latter over to Liu Sheng, "I find I can no longer stomach this stuff, you eat it." He said, handing the fruit off to the song bird that he had picked up seeing that he could no longer eat it given what the blond had said. If anything it just turned him off to the fruit, making it seem as though partaking of it was something really disgusting. Shaking his head he lifted the tea up to take a sip, hoping to rinse the taste of the orange from his mouth with the hot liquid.
Liu Sheng looked at the fruit that was tossed to him, glanced between the two boys, then found himself wondering idly what was going on with them. They didn't quite seem to get along even though they appeared as though they would get along famously since there was something about them that seemed so similar. Maybe he'd just assumed wrong in this case? Normally he was better at guessing those would deal well with each other he thought to himself before he set about eating the fruit that had been given over to him, as well as enjoying his tea. The problem being that the longer the night went on the more sleepy he was starting to get. It really made him feel as though it were an indication that he would need to be returning to where he'd come from sooner then later. It was something that he would put off for as long as he could though, wanting to spend the utmost amount of his time with the boys. They might not get along too well with each other but both seemed to get along with Liu Sheng well enough, something that made him want to stay with them just a little longer.
"This is really good." He murmured once he'd finished off Fu Ts'ang's portion of the fruit. He wasn't sure why his temporary Master had given it to him but he would be thankful for it regardless, "You have my thanks, Master." He said, giving a little bow of his head before he turned to finish his tea, not wanting it to go to waste.

Renshu let out a soft chuckle as he was pushed away, almost as if it were the sound of bells ringing in the distance, that just grew louder and louder, into a cacophony of joyful sounds. He fell backwards a short distance, his hands pressed to his eyes, trying to stifle the laughter that continued to ring throughout the near empty theater. It was a rather lovely sound, to most, a sound of pure glee and happiness from the rather light-hearted child.
"Oh my dear Fu Ts'ang!" He cried out from his place on the floor, gasping for air as he recovered slowly from his laughing fit. It took the boy a moment to readjust himself, giving his golden hair a nice push away from his now red cheeks. "I would love nothing more than to see you flustered once again~ But would you really give up such a gift from me?"
He gave a stretch, his svelte body showing of a rather lovely arch in his back, before he came back to a normal posture with a soft, happy sigh.
"My friends.. My dear friends... Soon enough, our time will come to an end.. But believe me, I wish nothing more than to see you both again! You are both welcome here, free of charge~ If we have a show that you wish to see, stop by and let me know, I'll have tickets~"

Fu Ts'ang gave a sort of 'hmph' sound as he took a sip of the tea, questioning why he was dealing with the other boy. He was both a King Flower and a Dragon, he was meant to be powerful according to his guardian, why did he put up with the antics of some nobody? It was a question to which there really was no answer. No matter how he told himself that he should just wash his hands of this chortling fool he couldn't do it. He didn't want to get up and walk away, if anything a part of him just wanted to... tame the other boy. Why could he not be respectful in the same manner that the song bird was? He'd be so much easier to deal with then... if it weren't for the fact that he had a pretty face and golden hair he doubted he would put up with him long. He told himself this and yet even looks couldn't explain it all away. Such a other.
"It isn't a gift I want given what it entails." He muttered, looking anywhere but at Renshu now, hating how out of sorts the other was able to make him. It was infuriating... and yet he couldn't walk away. Surely this meant that there was something wrong with him?
He finally turned to glance at him only when he mentioned their time coming to an end, but that he wanted to see them again. They were welcome, free of charge it would seem, a bonus in the eyes of the dragon who wanted to keep his treasure for himself. If there was a show he wanted to see he needed only to stop by to let him know? He gave a nod, "I will keep this in mind for the times my guardian and I are in town." While that idiot was patrolling the brothel he could come here, if nothing else at least the smell here wasn't so bad. At that glittering place that Dao Ye Shou loved so much he found it difficult to breath at times, such a pain.
Liu Sheng gave a smile as he curled his hands around his cup of tea, "It is most kind of you to offer such a gift to me, Renshu, but I will have to decline. It is... as you say, soon enough our time will come to an end and I will need to return to where I belong." He murmured, then gave a soft smile once more though this one was more sad. He didn't really want to go but he would have to, such was the rules of this particular festival, "Perhaps next time this festival rolls around I can visit again. I would like that."

"My gifts are gifts, simple as that. Do what you want with them, as they are yours now." It was as simple as that for the golden-haired child. He was, infact, a simple creature, always having highs, and never any real lows. Happy and healthy and completely and utterly filled with vigor! He could not be tamed, not in his mindset, it was rather.. One would simply have to be happy with the ride that was the boy. You either hopped aboard or get left behind.
For another moment, Renshu turned his attention to Liu Sheng, scooting closer to him, taking his tea cup away, and replacing it's warmth with his own hands, holding the other's tightly within his own.
"Ah.. You will be gone for so long.. Something.. Something tells me you are rather peculiar.. To mention that the festival is when you might return.. Perhaps it is a secret you are trying to hide! But no matter! None at all! You shall still be my friend, and when the time comes that we meet again, you will be met with a smile, a cup of tea, and perhaps even a show just for you! Would that not be wonderful!" The boy leaned forward, pressing his forehead against the others. It was a shame, truly it was, to think that such a lovely creature was to leave him all too soon..
"If this shall be the last time we meet for some time.. Let me leave you with something to remember me by then." Whispered words were the only warning he gave Liu Sheng, before he used a single finger to tilt up his chin, giving him a sweet smile before pressing their lips together. Perhaps his scent could be described as sweet as bergamont orange, tinged with a wee bit of sugar and something almost fiery. But the kiss was brief, and he pulled away from the ghostly boy to simply gaze at him. Yes.. It was a shame. None the less, he quickly turned to Fu Ts'ang, his hands still grasping onto Liu Sheng's.
"You do not get any sort of gift like that. After all, I am a 'base' creature, and I cannot 'approach' the high and mighty stuffed dragon without 'permission'."

Liu Sheng watched as Renshu came closer to him, taking the tea cup from his hands so that their fingers could be laced together instead. It was a kind gesture, one that felt nice due to the closeness not being something he was too used to. He really was a kind boy, it was a shame that it was so difficult for the dragon to see it. He knew full full well that Fu Ts'ang would be upset when it came time for him to leave and as such he really wanted for him to have someone else to stand beside when he did. He merely feared that it wouldn't happen, "You are too kind to me, Renshu." He murmured, letting his eyes close as their foreheads rested together. It truly was a gift, to be allowed to spend the festival with such kind souls, it really put his spirit at ease.
The calm, relaxed, and peaceful state that he was in was left a bit topsy-turvy when he suddenly found himself getting a kiss from the golden haired boy, something that caused his cheeks to burn brightly, "A-Ahh... I... t-thank you..." He stuttered out, quite embarrassed by such a thing. Sure, he was used to attention, but never in such a way as this. It was always his voice and nothing else that drew the attention of those around him, his obsessive Master especially. It was nice to find those would rather spend time with him for other reasons... even if some of those reasons left him quite flustered to say the least. Ahhh, how he wanted to stay right here. It really was a shame that the laws of the festival wouldn't allow for such a thing. There was the option of coming back next festival, of course, but the time between then and now would be great. Such a shame.
Turning to look at his temporary Master as Renshu seemed to bait him he looked a little uncertain, wanting to ask Renshu and Fu Ts'ang to be nice... but he felt it was something that they were going to work out themselves. They both had strong personalities so it would like take a lot of butting heads but perhaps they would be able to figure it out? He sure hoped so at least.
Fu Ts'ang starred at Renshu, his mouth working a bit like a fish out of water before he declared, "I-I wouldn't want that gift anyway! I... don't! Who would!" Damn it, why was he jealous over Liu Sheng?! He didn't want to be kissed by the golden boy, he likely did that with everyone he crossed paths with, he was just trying to rile him up! He wasn't going to let it happen he told himself despite the fact that it had already worked. He just had to do his best not to show it. Not that it wasn't obvious, the way that his hands flexed around his tea cup, the way he shifted in place in a restless manner, and the way that he was glaring at the other boy. He wasn't sure what he wanted to do, maybe dragged him away from Liu Sheng... but he couldn't do that, could he? His servant seemed so happy over the way that Renshu was holding onto him. Something deep down told Fu Ts'ang that no matter how the golden boy had ruffled his feathers that he couldn't take it out on Liu Sheng, not when he appeared so fragile at the moment. Damn it.

"I am kind because I know the value in everything.. Or atleast I know that the value of the mightiest king is never any more so than the sweetest song of a beautiful bird.." His hands did not leave his partners, instead he brushed the backs of his hand with his thumb, smiling at him. Oh, he just couldn't stop himself! He found himself leaning forward to press another kiss to the boy's pale skin, this time just a soft one to his forehead.
"In my world, there are no kings, no masters, no rich or poor, no one is above all. For stories can be told of anyone, whether the tiniest grain of sand, or the immense face of the mountain side. If you were to return to my side one day.. I would pray that you would give me more stories to tell.. Stories about us together." Renshu finally broke away from Liu Sheng, standing up and streching once more. The sun was beginning to dip low into the sky, a sign that all wonderful and fun things would soon come to an end. And just as much as he loved having Liu Sheng around for company, he could not resist the last few tempting moment worth of teasing that could be done to Fu Ts'ang.
As quick as a bunny, he slid himself flush up against the pink dragon, trying to appear as innocent as he could, though his green eyes betrayed him, nearly as much so as the grin he tried to fight back. He leaned in so very close to him, his lips near brushing against Fu Ts'ang's neck, and his breath could be felt, so warm and sweet.
"Though you may not be my master, nor would you accept my gifts, I am still so drawn to you, my friend. My body will ache for you until you return again.." Did he know what he was saying? NOPE! But the last time he saw his own troupe use such words, the ladies were swooning and 'fainting' faster than he could catch them~ What effect would this have on a 'dragon'?

Liu Sheng flushed that much more as he was given another kiss, it really was kind of him, the words he said, the way he sat with him, offering such affection. It made this feel like the best Festival yet and he could only hope that the ones in the future would be as good, "Believe me, when the festival comes around again I will look for you both. Like we are now, this is how I want to spend the next festival." He murmured, his voice gentle. There was no place he'd rather be then right here... though he could hope that the two might get along a little better by the time he returned. No promise of that he was sure but he could still pray for their good fortune, not as though he had much else to do between festivals given where he spent that time.
As Renshu released his hands he allowed them to rest in his lap finding that he was starting to feel a little tired. It was a sure sign that he should start to make his way back to the gateway he'd come through to get from the spirit world to this one. He would do so soon, once he was sure these two were alright. Of course the way that Renshu was teasing Fu Ts'ang made him feel as though things would in fact be alright. Sure, the two of them mixed in an interesting way but if they really didn't like each other they wouldn't still be together now would they? It was a good sign.
Of course just as he was thinking that Renshu was closing in on Fu Ts'ang, whispering things in his ear that caused Fu Ts'ang's face to go a brilliant crimson, "Ahh... W-What?! I don't even know what you're implying!" He snapped, his embarrassment evident upon his features. What was it with Renshu and trying to mess with him like this? He was kind and affectionate to Liu Sheng but he did nothing to Fu Ts'ang but deny him what he wanted and continued to taunt him with his crass words! There was the desire to flee... to put space between himself and the golden hair brat... but his pride wouldn't allow it. Instead he reached out grab hold of Renshu's wrists, "You are so... so... weird!" He growled at him, certain he'd never understand what this one wanted of him.
Sighing softly Liu Sheng rose to his feet, stepping forward to rest his hands lightly on the shoulders of the boys, "I think its time... I am getting quite sleepy. Can I trust the two of you to behave while I am away?" He asked, hoping to distract them from what looked to be another argument in the making. How could they not be exhausted already?

"Weird, me? No no no, not at all! I am simply.. Renshu. I do what I like, and say what I do, because that is what freedom is. And I, my friend, have that freedom, and a very light heart as well!" The boy did, however, find himself at a weird angle, and in order for him to see Liu Sheng again, he had to shift, placing himself on Fu Ts'ang's lap. Finally falling silent as the ghostly boy gently touched his shoulder, he seemed to look up at him with the most sincere expression he had held all night. Where did those not of this world go when they passed? Where did they spend their time? Were they cold? Were they alone and sad and scared? So very many questions ran through his head, but he could only manage to have one leave his lips.
"I don't know about that but.. Shall I escort you home then..? Wherever that may be?" He didn't really care of Fu Ts'ang wanted to fidget beneath him, or yell or what not. He was not the one who was going to leave his life for an entire year.. He was not the one he was going to miss so dearly, not yet, not now. He could not afford to spend any more attention on the pink haired one.

He was simply Renshu he said, an explanation that made Fu Ts'ang want to shake him that much more! Of course there was no chance to do so as Liu Sheng suddenly declared that it was time for him to go. It seemed to cause the dragon to go for a moment both silent and still, starring up at him while Renshu settled down on him, pinning him, whilst once more talking with the other boy. It would seem as though Liu Sheng had to go, perhaps for some time to come, and it was something that Fu Ts'ang didn't care for. Why could he not stay here with them? It wasn't as though having him around would be that great a burden on anyone given how sweet Liu Sheng seemed to be. Who would want to want to let him go?
When Renshu mentioned escorting Liu Sheng home he quickly added, "I will go too!" Liu Sheng was supposed to be serving him tonight after all so... so it was only right that he go with him as well. He didn't like the idea of allowing him to go, not when he felt that the boy should just stay with them, but maybe he'd come back to visit again? At least he'd better he thought to himself.
Liu Sheng looked between the two of them for a long moment before he gave a soft smile, "If you two are alright with walking with me I don't mind... though it's getting late and dark, are you sure you should be out at this time of night? I would hate to run you into danger because you wished to aid me in returning to where I belong." He hated to be a burden on them when what the pair should be doing was being tucked into bed so they could get a good night sleep. Somehow he doubted that they would allow themselves to be tucked in though, they were two strong personalities after all and if they set their minds to something he was sure that they would follow through.

In seconds Renshu was off of Fu Ts'ang, leaping up to take the precious young man's hand. Normally, he would have rushed off with the boy, pulling him around in the whirlwind that was his life, but this was not the same.. No, this was such a solemn time for the boy.. Oh, how his heart ached, though he knew this one for not even a day.. Why did he have to leave..
"I am not afraid of the dark, though I can say I glow when the night comes. Being born so bright does have it's disadvantages.. I will accompany you until the very end, my friend. And I hope that this one who calls himself your master will be honorable enough to do so as well.. I have a feeling.. As to where we're supposed to go.."

Liu Sheng gave a smile, nodding his head, "Then if the two of you are certain... I would hate to be late in returning." He had no idea what might happen were he to get trapped here, a Fate he would rather not risk as he doubted it would be something that would go well. If anything he was sure that it would end badly for him and those around him, the latter of which mattering far more to Liu Sheng then the former, "Come then, let us walk together one last time." It was a walk that would feel a bit like a funeral procession but in the end he knew he would at least be able to rest, something he looked forward to as he was getting quite tired now.
The dragon was on his feet quickly, coming to stand on the otherside of Liu Sheng, starring up at him a moment, before saying, "I will be accompanying the both of you of course." He wouldn't just let the two of them wander off on their own after all. Given that Liu Sheng was his servant, even if just a temporary one it seemed, he felt it was his task to keep him safe. A dragon should protect what belonged to him no matter what, something he would do now even if the song bird felt as though he should protect them. Sure he appeared a bit older then they were but that didn't meant a thing in Fu Ts'ang's mind, "Alright, we will get you to where you are going and then we will get to where we belong as well, safely in fact."
The older boy gave a smile before he started forward, heading along the streets that they had all met up on, passed where they had picked up Renshu, passed where he had been found by Fu Ts'ang, and onward toward the graveyard. They walked along the well lit path and Liu Sheng noticed a few others like himself as they went... though if the other two boys could see them he was unsure. Perhaps it was just him? They might have just synced up better with him, allowing them all to spend time together. They moved along passed the newer graves and toward some of the older ones, toward where he knew his own form to be resting. It was likely naught but dust now but at least it was easy to find the spot he belonged.
"Here we are." He murmured, pausing where he knew he needed to go. He'd pass through here, pace to the realm where he belonged, and hopefully when the gates to the spirit realm reopened he'd be able to move forth once more. For now though his time was done. Turning to look over at them he gave a smile, "You have my thanks for spending time with me, it meant so much more then you could ever know." He said, leaning in to press a kiss to Renshu's forehead first, and then Fu Ts'ang's before he turned back toward his grave once more, took a couple steps toward it, and vanished. Needless to say Fu Ts'ang looked quite shocked at it seemed to suddenly sink in who and what their companion really was.
