High in the mountains, shrouded deeply in heavy fog lies the castle that the Djinn, Caelum, has claimed as his own.The fog serves as a protective measure for privacy's sake as it is impossible to see through, and a barrier of heavy winds also encircles the place - although it is not entirely persistent and is only at its strongest when Caelum is actively focused on it. With the exception of the kitchen, dining room, and most portions of the library, everything in the castle bears a heavy layer of dust - if the dust isn't circling in the air that is; even the grand master bedroom shows no sign of being lived in. Although the windows all have glass in them, none of them remain closed, resulting in the free-movement of wind throughout the entire property. The small outlying towers are all locked up, and the door has been bricked up inside, leaving the only point of entrance the small windows. Were one to climb up to the top of the tallest tower on a day when the fog is not as heavy, they would see a very small town farther down the mountain. The inhabitants of this town are all very superstitious and believe the castle in the mountains above them to be cursed, offering no help to any who come from it, except to lock them up until a priest can be contacted to exorcise them - that is, of course, unless they should disappear in the middle of night first.
The castle does have electricity (although it took a bit of doing) throughout, but the only room that boasts anything higher-tech than electric lighting is the kitchen.

Now that Caelum had what he had come for, he quickly led his two purchases to the room of the lady, accompanied by the guard, in order to pay for them. While the Djinn hated to give up any part of his treasure, he was certainly willing to do so in order to obtain treasures of greater value. And he was certainly getting that, the treasures he was obtaining here could do so much more than sit in a room and look pretty. They could perform tasks he needed doing that he could not do himself did not feel like doing, but most importantly, they were company. Company that promised to be more interesting than the other free Dijinni, who only really liked to talk about their power and treasure, or what wishes they had made go horribly wrong to prove a point. Or out of spite. Honestly, Caelum sometimes thought that talking to a dragon was more amusing than speaking to the other Dijinni he knew. At least dragons had a fondness for riddles.
Leaving his treasures with the guard, with strict instructions not to harm either of them in any way, Caelum had a lengthy chat with the lady of the manor, discussing what prices would be appropriate for the prizes he aimed to purchase, and how she would best like her payment to be delivered. Finally however, he was done, and could leave the restrictive place. He was eager to leave and be home, but he did his utmost not to let it show on his face. For one, he didn’t want to let too much of himself be seen to strangers, for another, he felt, as a Djinn, that he must he wise and noble, at least when he was public. He could let lose the more playful nature of the wind when humans were not expecting him to restrain it.
Nodding to the guard, Caelum took the leashes of his prizes and led them to the exit of the manor. As he stepped out into the sunlight, he glanced around at the other masters and mistresses who were either just arriving, or preparing to leave with their purchases. Most of them had a vehicle of some kind. Caelum had no such thing. For one, his home was too far away from here to travel by car, for another, cars were much too slow, and hardly as exciting as his preferred method of transportation: the wind.
”Well then my jewels? Shall we head out?” Caelum intoned with a smile, as he stood in front of the gates, ready to step out of the range of the spells that dampened his powers. ”If thoughts of using your abilities fly through your head my ruby, know that there a very few places you can go where I would not be able to find you, and you would not survive such places for long.” Caelum warned, almost as an after-thought, but still obviously a warning all the same. A chuckle on his voice, the djinn then offered another warning, this one a friendly caution. ”If you were expecting a fancy car, you will be disappointed to learn that I did not bring one. My method of transportation is much more exiting. You’ll have to hold on though, you could be lost very easily.”
The dangers stated, Caelum led his prizes out of the gate and gave them a moment to prepare themselves before wrapping his arms around them and calling the wind to spirit them away to his mountain home.
Arriving at the castle, the winds blew back the nearly ever-present mist and allowed them to touch down safely in the courtyard. Waving a hand, Caelum pushed the mist back to reveal the grounds, although the mist did not dissipate entirely, leaving the outside world still hidden from view. ”Welcome to my playground, and your new home.” the djinn announced, ”I hope it will be to the liking of the two of you.”
Letting go of the pair, Caelum unclipped their leashes, but left the collars on for the moment. Stepping up to the front door, he pushed it open, beckoning the two inside. ”Feel free to explore for a bit, unless you would prefer that I show you the place myself.”
Caelum was looking forward to having company, particularly two beings who he knew little about. Discovering them would be exciting.

☆═━┈┈┈┈━═☆ Ⓣ Ⓞ Ⓜ Ⓜ Ⓨ ☆═━┈┈┈┈━═☆ Tommy tugged at the collar, hating the way it hugged his skin suffocatingly. He followed, trying to adjust the darn thing so it would be less tight, glancing up only when he heard his soon-to-be owner speak and give instructions. As soon as he found a guard on the other end of his leash, Tommy stopped what he was doing and tossed the man a snare. He hated the guards and spent the whole time tugging at the leash and throwing little fits when the guard didn't let go and the leash stayed latched onto his collar more to annoy the guard than to get away. After all, the guard had been instructed not to harm him! The whole time he either had a concentrated look on his face while he tried to figure out how to get the leash and collar off or a grin every time the guard grunted in annoyance at Tommy's little scene. Surely he was annoying the girl next to him as well. Tommy didn't care. She had tried to boss him around earlier anyways so if she was annoyed, then good. Tommy didn't exactly like anyone around him right now. The only person he was going to suck up to was going to be his master because that meant that if he liked his master he would have someone to cuddle with and someone to pay attention to him.
As soon as Caelum returned, Tommy settled down and grinned at the man once again. He would behave for now. So what once the man wasn't playing attention, poof! Tommy would be gone and on the run once again. Once they got out of the manor would be a good time. That sounded like a solid plan to the little red head. The boy trotted to catch up to Caelum and walk alongside his new master, a hint of mischief flashing in his eyes when he smiled sweetly at Caelum. Caelum seemed more fond of Ivy anyways. And he doubted Ivy would miss him if he left. Right now he saw her as competition and she probably saw the same in Tommy.
When they got outside, Tommy stretched and took a deep breath of the clean air. Much better than the dingy room he had been kept in at the slave shop. He glanced around for Caelum's car, seeing how much time he had between the moment he got out of the gates and started towards the car to teleport away. There were many vehicles so he wasn't quite sure which they would be riding in.
"We're going home?" he asked, humouring Caelum. Tommy wasn't going home. He was going to get the hell out of this place, away from the slave shop and his new "master" and his other pet. Tommy was already thinking of where he would poof himself first but his train of thought crashed and burned when he heard Caelum's warning. When the thoughts of freedom were snatched out of his head, Tommy actually felt his heart sink a little and he fought the urge to pout, instead grinning nervously in attempt to hide the obvious fact that he'd been plotting his escape.
"O-of course," he laughed, scratching the back of his head innocently. "There's no way I would get away anyways," he admitted, more to himself than to Caelum. Tommy had never gotten away from the hands of masters and the slave shop for very long. What made him think this time it would be any different?
His disappointment was side side tracked though. Once Caelum mentioned that they would not be traveling by car, he couldn't help but wonder how else they would travel. Something exciting...? Hold on...? Tommy didn't quite understand and stared blankly at his master then around them. Were they going to take a jet or something? But they needed a car to get to the jet. It wasn't until Caelum regained Tommy's attention by startling him when an arm wrapped around him and he heard his master speaking, not to Tommy nor Ivy.
Suddenly they were moving and Tommy couldn't hold back a surprised yelp. He clung to Caelum and looked around with wide, bewildered eyes. By the time they landed, he was still clinging to Caelum when the man let go.
"What the f-", he stammered, trailing off at the end when the mist moved away slowly and revealed a castle. His red eyes widened and the shock was melted off his face by an excited grin. Tommy started bouncing on his heels as his eyes shot around, taking in his surroundings. He'd never been to a castle like this!
As soon as his leash was unclipped and the door was opened, Tommy took off into the castle and ran from wall to wall, object to object. He examined everything with pure curiosity. Clearly Tommy was going to be satisfied with exploring on his own. The thought of poofing away was gone. For now, Tommy scampered around excitedly, keeping within his master's sight.
"This is so cool!" he exclaimed.

►►►►►►►►►►►►► Ivy Clarrisa Black XXXX▌ϛlave ƒor Life▐ ”If you don't stand for something you'll fall for anything.” ...Two seemed to be enough for this man, her master, as he led them on with the guard to where she could only assume was their last stop before getting out of here. Ivy hobbled along, still only wearing one shoe, the other in her hand as her gaze ran up and down the halls to the numerous doors. How many rooms were there in this building? How many slaves waiting for their time to be picked up out of this place and taken off to the next house where they would be asked, no demanded to work. Games and riddles and cleaning were the things she had already been told were expected of her...but what else? She had time to consider this as the man left her and Tommy with the guard to take care of things such as payment. During that time she also dropped her shoe, careful to slide her foot into it. They would be leaving, and she looked rather silly walking around with one shoe on. The cut on the underside of her foot still hurt, though she had successfully wrapped it up with the fabric of her old dress. With nothing else to do her hands then went to straighten out the skirt of her new scarlet dress, the one that had been in the closet of her room.
During this time her partner slave seemed more apt to movements that could be called 'struggling'. The guard seemed rather unhappy with him, and Ivy did not blame him. She too was wondering just what purpose he sought in such actions. Escape at this given place and time was a crazy persons thought process. Besides, Ivy felt no need to give anyone a reason to lay a hand on her at the moment. Her body still needed to heal, and all thoughts of escape could wait. Food and rest were a necessity to come by first, running later...if it came to that. Seeing their master reappear gave her joy only in the fact that they were leaving. Ivy did not yet feel joy just for his presence. He was after all a master, and although he was rescuing her from this prison, he was only bound to subject her to another sort of one.
As he moved there was tension put in the leash, forcing both of them after him and out into the sun. It was nice to be outside, but it would be even grander where she outside for good. There were some things that could not be fully enjoyed in knowing that she would soon be taken back indoors. His words brought her out of such ideas, her eyes moving to train themselves on her master, though the warning seemed more for her counterpart. Then a laugh, and an explanation. No car? Hold on? Lost easily? None of this sounded right, and Ivy was not sure she could walk so far. Though by the end of it, it did not sound like they would be walking after all. An arm around her turned her head to stare as such a thing, and call it into question when there was suddenly no ground beneath her feet. Ivy's reaction was much in the same to Tommy's. A gasp, as she could make no sound, and arms reaching quickly, tightly around her masters middle in fears of falling. It was not that she was afraid of heights, but such a drop would surely kill her.
At first she kept her eyes closed, then opened them. It was quite amazing. Her dress rippled from the breeze, her hair mostly tucked under her masters arm was kept at bay. In her wish to look around she had to loosen her hold a little on her master, but she trusted that he would not let her fall. It was not that she trusted him, but that she trusted the fact that after paying for her, he would not so easily allow her to slip from his grasp. As it grew misty, the chill of such became present over Ivy's skin. As it parted she saw what was waiting for them below. As her feet came back into contact with the ground she found herself a little weak kneed. Although she looked around, the only thing truly in sight was the building he called his 'playground'. It brought into question once more what his intentions were, but there was no time for such thoughts as her master had his hands at her neck, removing the leash. While it was nice to at least have that off and away, it would have been even better to have gotten the collar off as well.
Walking after her master a hand trailed up to her neck to give the constricting fabric a pull. Ivy was a little less energetic that Tommy was. She entered and stood in one spot while turning herself completely around in a circle to take everything within the front room in. From the outside she could see that there had been a couple of stories, this was just the first room on the first floor. It would be interesting to find what other kinds of spaces filled what made up this house. While Tommy was quick to give his opinion Ivy said nothing. She was still unhappy with how Tommy had behaved back in the shop, it wasn't right. There was something that caught her eye though, a painting, of which she was drawn and came to stand before. Ivy had not seen in before, and while knowledgeable more so in literature, was not as learned when it came to art. To her, all she could remark on, was that it was nice, and that it made her feel something.

With one of his newly purchased slaves running ahead excitedly, and the other following behind at a much more subdued pace, Caelum made his way into the castle. He briefly debated taking them both around and showing them the place, but, after seeing their individual reactions, retracted that idea. It seemed obvious that Tommy at least would be quite capable of exploring on his own.
Ordering a gust of wind to push the door closed behind them, Caelum stood off to the side and watched his two new housemates move around the entryway. Noticing some dust swirling in the air, he frowned, and blew it off into one of the hallways. It would have to dealt with eventually of course, but that was why he had bought Ivy. If she did not take to it on her own, he would simply have to remember to order her to do so.
At one of his slaves’ positive affirmation towards the place, Caelum smiled in satisfaction. ”The two of you have the run of the place.” he told them, ”The only places you are not allowed to go do not have any doors anyways. Of course, the upkeep of the place is also up to you.” Caelum did enjoy things to be neat, but there was only so much he was willing to do himself, especially when he barely used most of the rooms anyways.
Noticing that Ivy had taken interest in one of his painting, Caelum walked over to stand beside her. After staring at the painting in silence for a moment, he smiled down at her. ”I quite enjoy this one actually,” he commented, ”I had it commissioned by a famous artist. Or at least famous at the time. Not sure if anyone but my own people would appreciate the maker anymore. I suppose the fact that very few of his works that were made to be available to the general populace still survive to this day has something to do with it.” After pondering for a moment, he added, in the tone of a whispered afterthought, ”I believe we were nobles at the time? It’s hard to remember, this might have been during the time when she had a fascination with commoners…”
Stepping back, he turned to address both slaves at the same time. ”I shall leave it up to you individually as to whether you would like to explore the place on your own, or if I would be privileged to show you my favorite spots. If neither of you have need of such at the moment, then I shall be heading to the Library. Neither of you are expected to start your duties until tomorrow, but I hope you will join me for an informal dinner in the kitchen later.” His spiel completed, Caelum waited patiently for their responses. Should they go off on their own, he knew that it was quite possible for them to get lost. Of course, if that did happen, they needed to simply call him and he would eventually hear, but he did not voice that immediately, wishing to keep his nature a mystery for them as long as possible – or at least as long as he found it interesting.

►►►►►►►►►►►►► Ivy Clarrisa Black XXXX▌ϛlave ƒor Life▐ ”If you don't stand for something you'll fall for anything.” ...Hearing the door shut behind them caused Ivy to turn and give it a look. There was no one there to have started the motion, and the gust which had ushered it so had come from inside. Her new master had not disclosed much about himself, which was calling into question just who he was. He had come to know much more about her, from her file, or whatever they kept on her in the slave shop, yet had shared so little. The place was orderly enough, but by no means clean. In her little walk about she could notice a layer of dust on most everything. It would take a while to get everything initially clean, if that was what he wanted of her. Letting out a sigh Ivy now realized why he had been after someone with a broom charm, oh joyous day that he had found her...
He reaffirmed such thoughts in his short explanation of the dos and don'ts. It was strange that he would say the two of them had 'the run of the place' seeing as usually all of the running of things was a masters work. Off limit area's could not even be reached, which was good as it meant she could not be punished for such, but it also left her curious of course.
Attention back on the painting it did not stay for long as Ivy heard footsteps nearing her. Watching him as he stared at the piece of art, she turned when he looked down at her. 'My own people', he said, 'we were nobles'. The curiosity was too much to bear. “Who are your people?” There it was, Ivy had just spit it out, blunt as possible, and no way to misunderstand her question. But he was moving on to address them both about exploring, a task that seemed daunting to Ivy without a guide. The place seemed to be rather large, and she could see herself getting quite lost without hope of finding her way back once heading to the upper levels. It was not as though she had any heightened senses, like smell, or hearing, that would help her find her way back to these other two.
“I'd prefer if you could show me at least the necessary places.” Ivy informed her master. Hoping at least to know where she was expected to sleep, where this library was, and the kitchen that he wanted the two of them to find later. She wasn't quite sure what an informal dinner meant, but seeing as she only had one outfit, the dress she wore, it was not like she could dress any other way. Still, with the wound on her foot, she did not plan to walk around much at the moment. Perhaps tomorrow when it was a little better healed it would be time to explore. For now though she only cared to know about what was important to know instead of wondering around aimlessly, opening doors and hoping for the best.

☆═━┈┈┈┈━═☆ Ⓣ Ⓞ Ⓜ Ⓜ Ⓨ ☆═━┈┈┈┈━═☆ Tommy didn't pay much attention to his new master and the brunette. He was too busy staring wide eyed at his new home. "I'm going to explore myself," Tommy piped. He didn't want to stick around that brunette who seemed to dislike him and Tommy was never a sucker for masters either. He fled away from the two. Of course, he wasn't going to get very far if he ran away so he didn't try. He just explored the house fully out of curiosity. He would choose his room once he found them to get the best one. For now, he started his exploration on the first floor. The red head padded around the halls, ending up in the dining hall. He glanced around, red eyes wide in awe as he stared at the huge room. He was drawn in by the historical feel but his face dropped when he wondered if the whole house was like that... If the kitchen was out dated, Tommy was going to lose his mind.
The teleporter hurried to look for the kitchen, pausing and giving a huge sigh of relief once he found it. It was completely different from the dining room, completely updated with fairly new appliances and looked pretty high-tech. Tommy bounced on the balls of his feel, a little excited that the kitchen was so nice. He went around and checked all the cupboards and drawers, humming happily to see that he had pretty much everything he would need to cook meals. The checked the pantry and the refrigerator, pursing his lips. Maybe they needed to do some grocery shopping but he could do with what they had for now. Once he was satisfied with the kitchen, Tommy moved onto the next room, trying to remember the lay out of the house so that he could poof from place to place. He ignored the library for now, not really wanting to run into his master and the girl in the middle of his little adventure. Instead he wandered around the house until he found the top floor with the bedrooms. Tommy padded through the halls, glancing into each room before he settled for the second, entering and flopping down on the bed. He would stay here until he was called for dinner.
For now, Tommy have a large huff and squirmed under the blankets, rolling himself up in the sheets. "Now what," he murmured, reaching up to tug at his collar in annoyance. Tommy wasn't in the slave shop anymore... Which meant that now he could us his powers, right? He probably couldn't use it to teleport far away with his collar restraining his powers, but that didn't mean that Tommy couldn't poof away to his own little world.
Squirming out from the blankets, the red head took a deep breath and with a soft 'fwoomp' the boy disappeared. There was an outline for dust from where Tommy had been sitting on the bed but once the dust settled, there was nothing. At least, that's what it looked like. If you had good eyes and the lighting was right, you could see a spot in the air above where Tommy had been before. It was like treads of red light scribbled in a little blob in the air. That's where Tommy was.
When he opened his eyes, Tommy found himself in a completely white room with one endless white wall and a endless white floor. The rest of the room was endless white. The only colour was some white scribbles on the walls and floor. Those were Tommy's drawings. If you squinted and looked at it the right way, you would probably be able to make out the drawings. But they mostly looked like something a child would have drawn. The drawings appeared and disappeared depending on how Tommy thought about. If he thought about one particular moment, then drawing he had drawn of that moment at some point of time appeared. For now he closed his eyes and sighed.
"Better," Tommy sighed as he flopped down on the white floor, spreading out his arms. He tried not to think about anything and the room went white. He ran out of crayons to draw with... Tommy would need to make sure he got some later on. Right now, Tommy settled for a nap. If they called for him close enough to the red light in the bedroom, he would hear.
