(Because Mouse is so creative 8D)  Nysus ran through the house, up early and annoyingly energetic, but rightfully so. They were going to the park today! Or, were at least going to attempt to go to the park today! cat_mrgreen If only he could wake up his sleepyhead parents... "Park! Park! Park! Paaaaaark!"Finally reaching his destination, he whined at the only thing standing between him and an ADVENTURE! A door. "C'mon you guys! Wake uuuuuup!"(Oh I know, I'm so pro at dis RP thing 8v)

 Baubles rubbed the sleep from his eyes, wondering for a second what all the ruckus was. Then he heard his brother's voice, a very LOUD voice, yelping for everyone to wake up. Oh deities. Baubles peeked around a corner at his brother, then skittered up to him and put a paw on his head. "Nyyyyyys, not so loud!" He looked around, then took his paw back. "I know you're excited, I am too, but we mustn't behave so ... so loudly!" The orange boy turned to the door, gently pawed on it, and softly asked, "Mamma? Poppa? Are you awake?"

 If they had been sleeping, they certainly weren't anymore.
Kal sighed and rubbed her eyelids before trying to figure out which to tackle first; detach her frightened mate from the bedpost he so desperately clung to, or stick her head out the door and give her son a good scolding for not using his indoor voice.
What indoor voice, more like.
Snorting with derision at herself, she got up and gently patted Lucky on the back, trying to soothe him and talk him down off the cliff... er, bedpost.
"C'mon, the kids are waiting. And not very patiently might I add."
"Nonononononononononoooooooo make it stoooooop...."
THE NOISE! THE THING! It was in his very house!
AGAIN!
He wouldn't look! Oh no, no no no. He knew better, couldn't look. Lucky kept his eyes firmly shut as he clung to the wooden post, refusing to be beckoned away from his lifeline despite his mate's pleas.
He paid no heed, or couldn't rather, he didn't even hear her really, even after the sound stopped.
She'd just given up with him when a second voice sounded at the door. It was her fault really, shouldn't have told the kids the night before. Chances are Nysus probably hadn't even slept.
"G'morning sweetie. Yes we're up. I'm dealing with your father at the moment, do you think you could-"
Kal put her head down for a moment, unable to block out or resist the momentary lapse as that... that thing whispered to her from the darkness. Moments passed, time she wasn't aware of, before she shook her head and tried again.
"Could you make sure your sister is up and ready? We'll be out in just a minute."
His serpentine form wrapped around the opposite bedpost as he chuckled at that. It would be highly unlikely that Kaltia would be able to pry the scared male off of his perch anytime soon. Though such comments he kept to himself.
Instead, he gave his mistress a worried glance, recognizing her pause for what it was. He made a soft sound to get her attention and she turned to him only to wave him off gently.
"I'm fine, Kaleo. Are you sure you want to stay behind this time?"
She watched as the dragon nodded his head in assent before turning her attention back to her mate.
"What to do with you..."

 Swinging her legs back and forth over the edge of her bed, Amaya sat patiently, waiting for everyone to be ready. It wasn't that she wasn't excited, she just knew better than to get under foot. If she went rushing around chances are she'd just make the family take longer.
Sighing, she hummed to herself and tried, so very hard, to just wait.

Nysus frowned underneath the paw of his older brother, pouting a little bit, but matching his lowered voice for once. "But Bubbles! If we don't wake them up now we'll never get there!"And straightening up at the sound of their parents stirring. They were awake! Yayayayayayay! Mom sounded mad though, maybe Baubles was right and he should have been quieter? Maybe she was upset with Dad for not waking them up on time? It was a good thing he was around if that were the case! Tilting his head a bit at the pause in her sentence, his eyes went wide once she finally finished. Amaya wasn't awake yet?! They were never going to get there at this rate! And, ducking away from the door and his brother, he bounded off to her room, announcing himself as it were. "Maaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaay wake uuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuup!"

Baubles was pleased both by his siblings cooperation and by the sound of his parents. They were up!~ He wagged his tail as he listened to Mamma, though he tilted his head when she paused. Did she realize they were listening, too?
At her finished request, he was about to nod and make his way to Maya when Nysus barreled away. Sighing, Baubs skittered after Ny, wondering why on earth he couldn't be quieter.

((I'll have Kal and Lucky ready to go in a bit, once the sibs are all situated. Figured it would be good to let them hang and interact |D ))
Her ears perked at the sound of Sussy screaming for her. They thought she was still asleep? Getting off of her bed and sticking her head out the door, she responded.
"I'm awake! I'm ready! Can we go to the park now?"
She tried to keep the sulk out of her voice, but she was excited by the idea of going to feed the ducks. Maybe play in the pond too, though her parents didn't seem to like that much.

Nysus scampered down the hall towards Amaya's room, seeing her open her door at the last minute and scrambling backwards trying to avoid colliding with her. Stopping about an inch from her face with a wild look on his face, fearing the imminent, it quickly changed to a grin. "You're up! Yaaaay!"He backed up a bit once he noticed the close space, trying to contain his excitement... Nope, can't be calm, there's a park to go to! Vibrating a little in anticipation, he backs up more and does a little spin, ears perked up and tail going in a blur. Everybody was up and awake and it was going to be the best day ever!

No no no no n- NYS! Baubles skidded to a stop when he saw his siblings nearly collide and crouched with his ears pinned. Why did they have to be so rambunctious?
At the mention of the park, though, his ears lifted a little and his tail wagged. It was going to be a good day, he hoped. Maybe there would be a nice tree to hide in, or he could play in the pond with Maya if it was ok with his parents.
"Kay, kay, so now maybe we can go let Mamma and Poppa know we're ready to go?" His head tilted to the side; he didn't like telling others what to do, so any suggestion made was made with caution.

She could hear the kids skittering away, and when Nysus yelled with glee again. Her ears drooped a little, but there was no help for it. She had managed to pry Lucky's grasp loose, but now he was just following her around and mumbling to himself while his eyes were glazed over; seeing who knew what. She got him ready as best she could, debating if it was perhaps better to leave him at home. She took a step back to look at her troubled mate and sighed again. No, she couldn't do that to him. Once he was clear-headed enough to realize what happened he'd just feel guilty over missing out on another part of the kids' lives.
The damage already done, she pulled him out of the room and into the hallway, calling out for the kids.
"Is everyone ready to go?"
"Nonononononononono don't want it..."
Lucky mumbled to himself, his eyes glassy as he moved slowly, as if through water. It was like the illusion of his family, his homelife, rippled like waves in front of him; flickering in and out as if it didn't exist.
And perhaps it didn't...
Kaltia just sighed and gently guided the male towards the door, checking behind herself for the kids. This wasn't going to be an easy day.
