Amphi looked over the letter from her sister, clutching it tightly in her hands. Fallen ill was bolded by her sister's writing. Her sister Undine had fallen Ill and should something happen to her...Amphi had to go home. Her sister needed her.

But for how long would she be gone to home? How long would she leave family and her friends that she had made here? Danny, Lizzy, Xiu, False and Hel. Thana, Tybalt and Mei.

Roch.

She knew, in heart she would be gone a long time. She couldn't take Roch with her. Selfishly she might've expected him to come but...He wasn't a water creature, he wouldn't survive. And his sisters would never approve of him, given their unnatural dislike for species that weren't water creatures. Only Amphi and Undine had loves that had been non aquatic.

And if Roch couldn't come with her, she couldn't expect him to stay with her while she was away. No that wasn't right at all. Her heart tugged in two different places but...Undine always came first. Her clan must come first.

She struggled with the paper and pen in her hands, sitting at her desk as she sniffed. This was for the better. This was for Roch. He'd thank her later. Maybe he'd find someone better then her too while she was away. She hoped he continued to do what he did best, because she would do her best back at home. Carefully, she took Roch's ring from around her necklace and placed it gently in the envelope with the letter and licked it to seal it.

She slipped out quickly from her dorm room, to Roch's and slipped the envelope under his door and headed back to her room. Then wrote one for Danny. Because her OTP.

I'm so sorry for this but...I have to go home for a long time. I won't be able to see you, nor contact you under the sea and will probably be really busy taking care of my clan until...things get better. I feel that it is best that we....part our ways. (there was a lot of scritches and mark outs of different ways to say it, none seemed nice to Amphi at all.) I don't want you to...pine or miss me while I'm away, or have me hold you back. So...it's best to um...break up. Thank you for being my first love and I will think of you and fond thoughts and everything....(writing here is very shaky, almost as if it was a little bit hard to write). If I ever come back, I hope we can at least be friends again. Please. Thank you so much Roch for everything. I'll miss you.

And with that, she left that under the demon's door and headed to the ocean. Amity said her room and minipets would be cared for and she believed it. Until she could return though....if she did.
