After setting up a date of sorts when none of them would have classes, Molan had taken the time to run to the store after finding a recipe. Apparently, at least according to the communities on the interwebs, the recipe for 'Creepy Crunchies' that he'd found was loved by almost every minipet you could find. And it seemed simple enough. Kind of a bit like making a crispy brownie or something. He wasn't entire sure from the description, and the images had been... well questionable. But the reviews were good? If that many people said it was simple and their minipets loved it, it couldn't be too terrible.
So after buying enough supplies for a few batches so there'd be treats enough to go around he'd told his brother a time. Hopefully, if he wasn't late, it would be before Terra showed up. And cooking was to be had that afternoon.
If the mini army didn't get to the ingredients first. The shions had taking to posts of staring intently as if they hadn't been fed in a week(this was a lie, some of them even had a small pudge the little piglets.) Still, they were curious if nothing else. As for some of the larger pets, such as the otokoyo's and poms. Well they weren't nearly as problematic. Just lounging lazily on his bed. Jack was trying to take over the ledge that Storm had claimed for his basket, and well... in general anyone who walked in would wonder how the room wasn't covered in fur.
It did take a neat streak as deep as Molan's to keep the room rather spotless, but it was respectable. Or maybe he'd just cleaned it for their visit. There was even a bit of a hint that he intended to make tea with some cups set out and a pot near the table. Oh yes, he might possibly be pretending to be a good host. Tsk, what a lie that was. Appearances appearances, how fickle he could be. Then again, Etzer would probably ruin any semblance of refinement the family might seem to have within a few minutes. Seeing as he'd been quite wild since coming to school. Well, wild in Molan's opinion. Tsk. How terrible.
He paused as he plucked up one shion before wandering toward the door expecting his brother, and maybe Terra if she was early, any time then. Hopefully the reaper had taken his comment about having a good number of pets seriously, seeing as how a quick glance would prove he hadn't been lying.Ice Queen HI WE TALKED ABOUT THIS SO HERE IT IS! Pets. Everywhere. I hope you're not allergic Terra. We have large spacious fluff filled rooms here. Kanth You have been invited to come cook. neutral Get your butt over or Molan will end up letting Pitch headbutt your door for a while. He'll probably chew on you too. Quote: SO YOU KNOW... ANYTHING IN THIS POST... ASSUME IT CAN BE THERE. You can interact with any you specifically want. Some may be out wandering and have been let out of the room, but it's probably a good thing he's in the demon dorms. They all have personalities and such. Just post the image if you don't mention the exact name. Since I didn't list off EVERY shion name. Yes. Yes they do all have name. Also if you need to know he keeps a white/black themed room. There's chairs and such but a quick basic explanation is in his dorm. But feel free to add a chair or two since I such at designing rooms. /shot PS: Etzer the firelands is going to love you. It's one of those pets that clings to the people who will hate it. That's why it won't leave Molan's room alone. neutral TROLLOLOLOLOL.

Unfortunately Molan was to be disappointed. Terra showed up early, a bag of her own supplies in her hands and a few different recipes in her hand. She had been looking forward to this cooking experiment! And to seeing all of Molan's various minipets! She reached up, knocking on the door and waiting. She was practically bouncing where she stood. "Hola!" she called. "I am here!"

Etzer was a bit out of it when he arrived, but he gave a wave to his brother as he attempted to walk through the fuzzy pets, shaking his head at them.
Really, why did his brother have to collect these? Wasn't collecting bells enough?
Sitting on the bed with a sigh, he grimaced as a Firelands Inari cuddled up to him, trying to recoil from the heat. Which only made the Inari cuddle more, curling up in his lap.
Greeeat. Molan had better have good food. And tea. He loved tea.
He gave an imploring gaze to Molan, an almost pleading look.Raja FASHIONABLY LATE TO THE PARTY

Of course. Fashionably late had his brother's photo next to it. So as Molan heard the knocked at the door and moved to unlock and open it he was greeted by Terra rather than his sibling. Who should have been there earlier. Really, his room was beside his. How could he be later than someone coming from another dorm shouldn't have been able to beat him.
But there she was.
"You're quite prompt." Really, wasn't she like... down to the minute? It was a good trait, so the statement was meant as a compliment as he moved to one side to let her in. She had a myriad of creatures at her feet nearly instantly. Mostly shions, but the large silver otokoyo crown had come too, obviously curious about the guest. As for the two cranky looking things near the door, well they didn't look too pet friendly. Rather they just seemed to tolerate her before minding their own.
As for Molan, well he turned to head back just as his brother decided to show up. And gave him a bit of a look. Yep, completely at home. His brother had wandered right over, sat down, and attracted the attention of the beast.
The beast known as that firelands inari. At this point, the ice fox was convinced that the creature just liked to troll. Which explained why it hadn't paid any attention to Terra. "Don't. Blame. Me." He stated simply before offering a brief smile to Terra. "This is my brother Etzer, Terra. I mentioned him before." He stated, obviously not forgetting the ghoul as he realized his brother wanted a bribe for putting up with the pet. "If he misbehaves just tell him to sit..." Not that it worked, he really was an affectionate creature. At least, though, Molan knew was the look meant. "Let me make us some tea." He quickly started some water boiling, looking to Terra curiously. "Do you have a specific kind you prefer?"
He paused before glancing back, realizing she still had some bags and tilting his head. "I bought everything, but you can set those down on the counter?" He gestured to a counter to one side of the kitchen lightly with one hand as he gathered a few cups for each of them from a cabinet. Pretty little white porcelain cups with blue designs. Pretty things. That matched the black and white scheme of his room well enough.Kanth Brother says you're late. neutral Ice Queen WELCOME TO FUZZIES. They say hi.

There were so many pets! Terra was huge eyed as she tried to sort out where one began and the other ended just by sight. Then she flushed, realizing that the brother Molan had told her about was right there and she hadn't said hello--to either of them! "Hola, Molan! Hola, senor Etzer!" she said with a brilliant smile. "I will put the things down--as soon as I can get there," she admitted, trying to step through the furries to get to the counter without tripping. "Lo siento, I was so enthusiastic about learning this that I did not even think of you getting the ingredients!" She was distinctly red at the neck, and probably the face behind her makeup. "Senor Etzer, do you have many minipets as well?" she asked the wayward brother.

Don't blame him? That only made Etzer narrow his eyes more, but he'd play nice because Molan had company.
That never stopped him before, though.
Turning to the ghoul, Etzer flashed a smile and waved his hand, mock bowing while he was sitting down. "Greetings, fair lady." Oh boy. Molan, keep your eyes on this one. "You are a sight for sore eyes." At her question, the frost demon glanced around at the pets, and blinked as he thought.
"I have... a few. They like to hide in the clothing." He hadn't really taken... a toll of them like his brother had. Though, that was to be expected, once he thought about it. He organized his bells, after all. Had a name for each one.
That gave him an idea. With a straight face, Etzer turned to his brother, the corner of his lips twitching, his only tell that he was up to mischief.
"Molan, what are all the names of your minipets?" Idly he scratched the inari behind one of its ears, deciding that the heat was enough to deal with at the moment.

The behavior of that Inari had nothing to do with Molan's wishes. Which was why he didn't feel like being judged for it. Though he was used to his brother trying to cause trouble in any way he could, so really... this was all to be expected.
Thankfully for Terra, most of the pets knew to get out of the way, and the Shions tended to group up. So when one moved the little wave surged to follow her instead. Obviously they were curious, this was a new person. Also she had THINGS. Who knew what things, but there was a bag. The ice fox raised a brow at her statement as it dawned on him that this... was going to be a very long day of cooking if they wanted to try all of the recipes. "Ah, that... well it couldn't hurt." He figured as much anyway. Worst case scenario one of the pets got a tummy ache from too many snacks. Worst case of course.
His brother, while friendly, was up to his usual antics. A flick of his tail and Molan merely shook his head and went back to preparing the tea. He hadn't gotten a suggestion for type, so he assumed a nice minty fresh one would help keep them awake and be tasty before they began. So after finishing the basic prep and being at the point of waiting on the water he glanced over to hopefully deal with his brother's antics a bit. "You really should keep a better eye on your pets, Etzer." One could hear some slight disapproval, which is likely where the frost demon's next question came from.
Not that it seemed to faze the Isukun in the slightest. Rather, it was an easy, if not long, answer. "All of them? Well you have B.F., Id is over there, Regalia is ignoring you both, and then there's Storm, Freyn, Frost, Pitch, Umber, Black, Rook-" He paused tilting his head to one side while looking directly at his brother. "Shall I continue?"
As for B.F. He was happily flopped over and enjoying his scratch. Giving him the affection he wanted worked better than fighting with him. Actually he was a fairly well behaved creature as long as someone gave him attention. The worst Etzer had to fear at that point was a flaming tail wagging a bit too close while the thing dozed on his lap.Kanth Etzer knew that wouldn't work. He knew.

"In the clothing?" Terra repeated, looking at Etzer blankly. "You mean the clothing which you are wearing?" she asked, trying to clarify. In her mind she pictured various heads of minipets peeking out of the boil's clothing in odd places, and she turned to look at him closely to see if there were little movements to be seen after she put her things down. Then she was distracted as Molan started listing, trying to memorize what name went with what minipet and getting rather confused along the way. "Wait, wait, which is Rook and which is Black?" she asked. "I--ah, think it might take me a bit to know who is who," she admitted.

Point taken. With a sigh, Etzer raised his hand as he conceded, shaking his head. "I didn't think you'd have a name for them all." As Terra spoke, Etzer frowned slightly.
"I'm sorry, I was jibing at my brother. I don't think he expects you to memorize all of their names. There's... a lot of them." Raising an eyebrow, Etzer stared at Molan without any humor, his dream nagging at the back of his mind. He wasn't that weak... was he?
The frost demon would have to mull over that for a while.
"Molan. Do you need help?" It was rare of Etzer to ever offer, but the frost demon wanted nothing more than to do something to get that thought out of his head for the moment. Molan would definitely know something was up.

Molan knew what clothing Etzer meant. The piles of clothes that could be found in many of the corners of his room. So Terra's comment earned a curious look from the boil as he cocked his head to one side. "Huh..." He'd let his brother field that question. Though the slightly smug look on his face as the boil conceded defeat did show he was pleased. "They're darling little things, of course they have names." After all, each had a unique personality. Why wouldn't he want the give them an equally special name? Even if most were just on the spur of the moment.
In regards to Terra's question he gestured to a few. "The small pom in a basket of there is Rook. And Black is growling at you under his breath in the corner with Pitch. They're not the most friendly. Those three were actually acquisitions on the day I met you." He added, figuring that was enough explanation of the trio for now. "Are there any other's you'd like for me to point out?" He added, tilting his head as he noted she was about to be attacked by a shion. And by attacked it meant it was trying to garner attention with a few headbutts at her leg. "And that is Core."
And then his brother's comment caused both brows to raise as he worked on pouring them each a cup of tea. "Well... keeping him distracted helps. But there's some vegetables that need cutting if you want to try. They're in the fridge" His brother didn't look for work to do, that was... well he didn't either. But it was still more likely for he himself to look for a task than his sibling. Though, he wasn't going to bring it up with Terra around, so a small smile was offered to cover it up as he placed the cups on a tray to head over and offer them up. "You like mint, right?" He offered the reaper a cup, obviously understanding the principle of guests first.
His brother obviously didn't count as a guest in most contexts.

"Si! I very much like mint," Terra said with a smile as she took the cup. "But I would like to know their names," she told Etzer. "It would be something to brag about, no? I know a million minipets and their names!" She was exaggerating. Slightly. There was a wicked gleam of teasing in her eyes as she looked at Molan. "But I have only just become accustomed to the idea of keeping them as pets," she admitted. "So I am embracing the idea! Including the desire to make their food--although Molan says he is not much of a cook. Do you cook, senor Etzer?"

"I just thought you'd take a bit longer than that, is all." Etzer replied with ease, picking up the inari and placing it near Terra. "You heard the boil, so cuddle with the pretty girl, yeah?" Rising from the bed, the frost demon slid over to the kitchen and opened the fridge. He spotted the vegetables right away and placed them on the counter before taking off his gloves.
"I haven't really cooked much, to be honest. Mostly I have food made for me." A slight blush came to his cheeks as he thought of Xiu's cooking, and he fell silent as he took a knife and began to slice the vegetables up.
Yep, not furthering that particular line of comments.

It was evident he was relieved she enjoyed the flavor as the glass was taken. Being a bad host was just... well he'd have been reprimanded at home. So it seemed poor taste to potentially do it anywhere else. Even without the watchful eye of a parental figure to judge. "Excellent." He stated before though he wasn't sure how to feel about her statement. Did that mean... he was odd for knowing them all? Even if they were his pets. "Well, if you ask I'll name them off." He stated before nodding at the mention. She did only have a few if her comments that night were to be correct.
Though she didn't need to state the bit about cooking. Even if Etzer knew. His ears flicked down a bit as he wandered back to the kitchen as his brother was heading there as well. And a quick movement to open a vent that would let fresh air in, and well... not so pleasant air out. Seeing as they were underground, a window wasn't the best option. "Well... no, I ensure they all have names.." Thankfully, his brother was equally inept with cooking. They could look terrible together.
Then a quick look back at his brother as he set the glass of tea intended for him to one side and spoke quietly, intending for only Etzer to hear. "So... what's bothering you?" Then a quick smile to Terra before he went to grab some snacks from the fridge. He did have a plate already prepared for that. Just some cut fruit, cheese, and crackers. Simple, but it didn't require too much skill to manage and was quick to prepare. He'd just need to toss the crackers on the plate after fetching it. "There's only so much space in the kitchen, but someone does need to watch him." He commented, offering her an apologetic smile as the overly affectionate B.F. was now obviously sure that Terra owed him all the love in the world.
Obviously.

Terra had only been teasing him about his huge number of pets, but she didn't realize the comment had been misunderstood, so she didn't explain. Instead she was happily making friends with the inari, cooing over how adorable it was-- Until she realized she'd been cut out of the cooking part entirely--by two boils that didn't seem to know that much about cooking. That... was a bit worrisome to the cooking loving ghoul. "I am more than willing to help when you need me?" she called to them. "Especially when it gets to the part where fire is involved!" They were ice demons, right? Fire probably wasn't their most favorite thing--although the pet was fire based... Huh.

"I'm used to flirting with others," Etzer muttered, his face flushing pink. "Not the other way around..." He sighed as he stared at the mess that used to be vegetables, glaring at the knife that did him wrong. He wasn't used to cooking, he was used to having the cooking done for him.
"Cooking is hard," The frost demon whined softly, shaking his head. "Work and nothing but." Now he understood why the servants looked so ragged and tired all the time.
It was ten times better than that fire creature, though.
