I already saw the interviews of the voice actors for the game, and McCartney actually did a pretty good job of voicing Roxas. Of course, it's only a single line or so, but from what is available, it sounded decent enough.
I still like Uchiyama Koki's voice more though. sweatdrop

all the same voice actors for the 3 main characters are still the same from the first one. ^__^ i dont know if he will do a good job or not...i wanted to watch the interview but my computer sucks for it to play..... cry

Roxas' voice in Japanese is good, I never heard the english version though. Note: Yay, my first post here!

Wow, looks like we have a flamer... o_o;
In any event, I tend to look past the voice actor names and just see if they do a good job or not. (perfect example: I can't stand Lance Bass, but Sephiroth sounded pretty bloody awesome anyway... and I adore Billy Zane, but Ansem ticked me off for some reason... sounded like he had a lot of mucus in his throat, which is not normal of Mr. Zane. XP )

I didn't mind Lance Bass at all either, mainly because Sephiroth's speech consisted of battle grunts and cries. However, Bass is getting replaced by George Newbern in KHII, the guy whom will be voicing Sephiroth for the english version of Advent Children. I'm already heard a voice sample of Newbern's and he sounds like he would make a good Sephiroth if he made his voice deeper.

My ex was obsessed with him. All she ever said was, "OH JESSE MCCARTNEY IS SO HOT!" She was annoying stressed

To be honest, I hate Jesse McCartney, but his voice just does sound so...Roxas-y. Roxas kind of looks like a prep in his outfit, so I guess it fits. xD The japanese voice for Roxas is damn sexy though.
Lance Bass did not do a horrible job at voice acting for Sephy. I don't hate Lance though. (I honestly still love some old N*Sync stuff...and no I'm not twelve. >> )
I try not to let my feelings get in the way of how the voice actor actually SOUNDS. Considering you never actually SEE the person doing the voice acting. (:
I think Christy Carlson Romano did and amazing job as Yuffie in KH, she sounded like Yuffie did in my mind. Hayden Panettiere was a great choice for Kairi, her voice just...fits. I don't happen to be partial to Sora's english voice though. I find it rather annoying.
Mmmkay. Imma stop ranting about voice actors now...

I don't really know much about him, and just now found out he's a singer. xD; But I did hear a voice clip of him, and he sounds a lot like a Roxas, so I'm pretty happy with the matchup.

Mmmkay. Imma stop ranting about voice actors now... i 100% agree w/ this person ^^ jesse as a person, is annoying... but his voicing is ok...just as long as i don't see his face ^^ and i'm still an N*SYNCer at heart ^^
