There was..a loud crash it was so loud that it was hard to miss even inthe snow fallen village where dawn had barely risen and you could almost hear the unified groans of all its inhabitants at being awoken pre-dawn. There was a youth stumbling out of his home trying desperately to get a boot properly in place before it stepped into the ankle deep snow.

"Hey! Baroke? Where are you?" The ice boy called out his hand cupped to the side of his mouth as he attempted to call his little raoti though the creature was less enthused about getting up then Borra was and refused to come for the boy's daily walk. Shrugging at the complete lack of response he shifted his robes over his body to shut out the cold and then turned to trek down the trail as he did every morning.

His daily routine was to keep fit, and by keeping fit he had more energy to play with the kids around the area. Though most of the mothers appreciated someone who would look after the kids enthusiastically the men of the small village often found him rather useless in any sort of hard labor as he wasn't exactly the strongest and his attention span sometime was... hopeless. But Borra didn't seem to let this bother him, after all he enjoyed looking after kids..it was far more interesting than going hunting.

A bleat come out from behind him, it sounded tired and annoyed and half turning his head Borra spotted his raoti as it trudged along following his foot steps in the snow.

"Knew you would make it!" Borra greeted the creature cheerfully, though the creature only gave a small bleat in response as if telling him off.

Aldr blew softly into his hands as he walked, wrapping his bare arms around himself and trudging rather grudgingly through the fresh snow that had seemed to accumulate over night. Each step had his foot sinking deeper and deeper into the wet, ice-dirt mixture and he could feel it seeping into the rawhide boots he'd managed to find back at the village. He'd been walking for a few days now and could feel the cold knifing into every inch of his being, despite the fur vest he wore to protect his otherwise bare chest. Twice he had stopped and thought about going back. Twice, he had kept going.

He didn't know if he'd make it through a third time, but, he'd give it his best shot. The Northermost point of Tendaji was close, after all, maybe a day's walk away. He couldn't give up now. Not after all the effort he'd put into getting there.

Giving a sigh that puffed out and dispersed among the air, Aldr glanced around the harsh white tundra; squinting as he looked in the direction he was heading. Forgetting, however, to look at the path directly ahead of him, it wasn't long before he found a nice decline to slip down. Or, rather... tumble.

      "Ack!"

He hit the ground and kept rolling, limbs over limbs, until finally he smacked down into what seemed to be a path. The Shifter groaned, slowly sitting up and touching his hand to his now-throbbing head. He opens his eyes just as the sound of a loud, irritated bleat has him up on his feet; crouched low and hand on his dagger.

"Don't come closer!" He says to the Ice Tribe male only a few feet down the path. The warning, however, falls flat as Aldr sways and- once again- hits the icy ground beneath him. He must have hit his head harder than he thought.

The young man stopped short when a dark skinned figure tumbled into view, it caused Baroke to give a squealing sound as it had been frightened before darting behind Borra's legs to hide. Borra on the other hand was intensely curious about this newcomer, after how many people had he ever met with such dark skin? The man had stood up firmly instructing Borra to not approach him before.....falling to the ground again.

Well....that was bizarre.

Borra waited a moment watching to see if the stranger was going to get back up, and when nothing happened he was quick to move down the snowy slope, almost falling on his own behind on he way, before kneeling down at the man's side.

"Hey!" Borra started giving the man a shake on his shoulder to see if he was alert, though upon closer inspection he was surprised how he was dressed, hardly fit for wandering around in the snow. Using his own hands to lift the guy into a sitting position the idea the guy may lash out didn't occur to him.

"You must be brave if your wandering around dressed like that." It was beyond Borra to say negative things even if it was very foolish to not be dressed appropriately for the climate. "Let's get this cloak on you...not much but better than nothing. Come on Baroke looks like you lucked out no walk for you." It was a good idea to get him inside and so the best place to go was his own home. Hopefully his mother wouldn't be too annoyed.
