It is like a natural 'hey, stay away!' defense, and touching her without her permission can cause a 'shock', which is a split-second jolt that feels like a concentrated version of the field's standard effect.

Personal History: Maysy grew up in a Tulgey Wood, which is just the equivalent to a fairly nice town in her Jabberwock culture. She was close to her older brother, Svensyl, until he left to go to Amityville - he stopped contacting her after a while, though she still writes to him.
Their Wood was a particularly inventive one. Svensyl was too scatterbrained and focused on all of the wrong things for their Wood, so she picked up his slack by doubling down on her experimentation, and allowed him to claim a portion of her work. She was always happy to help!
FEAR Ability: Vorpal energy concentrates within her, similar to the fire of a fire-breathing dragon. She can then breathe out or spit the energy at her target. This follows the Swift Strikes mechanic.
