 Stop staring at me you piece of crap. Just. STOP IT. I HATE YOU.
Chloris screamed at the top of her lungs, flinging the pink bowed bear to the ground. It always seemed like the thing had a life of its own and its judging personality thoroughly pissed her off. And it never seemed to fall apart or get dirty no matter what she did. That was probably because after she flung it around she always took to putting it together again out of guilt. She never could get rid of the hideous thing. It was a part of her as much as....as much as they had been. She hated thinking about it. Hated being weak.
STOP IT, YOU SCRAP OF FILTH.
She couldn't stand it.

It was a warm night. The family didn't much enjoy the heat as their cold hearts were partial to frosty weather. The youngest of the family and the least cruel of the bunch played with the pink bowed bear with little hesitation toward the preying world around her.

After letting out another ear-splitting scream, she set to work at sticking pine needles in the ugly bear. She moved fast, her motions were violent and hateful towards the thing that reminded her of her past. If the pink bowed bear had been alive it would be in a lot of pain right now. But no matter how much she drove the needles in, its accusing smile would never change.
It wasn't my fault. Stop looking at me like that. It wasn't my fault.
Hot tears of frustration began to form in her eyes and she furiously began to rip off its limbs one by one, pulling at the stitches she had only just re-applied.
Each time she fixed it she tried to ensure that the stitches were strong enough to deter her. Sometimes they worked but other times her anger found a way to mutilate the bear.
Not my fault...she murmured as she successfully ripped one leg off.

There was no sense of danger. This group was accustomed to being the danger, and therefore was unsuspecting of the events to come.

YOU PIECE OF JUNK. HOW DARE YOU...
Those inky black eyes just stared up at her, roping her into the guilt with every stitch she yanked at. It gave no response to her struggles, there was no answer to her screaming but cold indifference. She gave up. Heaving her body from the ground and not bothering to dust herself off, she walked away from the pink bowed bear, walked away from her troubles.
"I'm leaving you here. This time, you'll see, I won't be back," she hissed under her breath at the bear, glancing over her shoulder with all the hate in the world.

"Please? Please play with me?" the younger sister asked. Her pleading received a smirk from her older sister.
"That bear is hideous, I don't know why you would want to play with it, or expect me to," she said. It was the nicest denial she could give her sister, and she turned away coldly as she always did when asked to play. Play to her must have been something that made others weak, she must have felt superior to it.
The family continued on its daily business, which usually consisted of hunting small game and occasionally stopping to rest. Only this time, stopping to rest was a huge mistake...
