Hiemal was prompt.
He was always prompt.
The newfound freedom that came with his dragon was still peculiar and unsettling in as much as having his routine disrupted always unsettled him but it was welcome as well. In a good mood as he was therefore he was happy to answer the summons of the Watch, and Haliath was more so.
Justice must be served.
The honour guard come investigative team had been given rather nice quarters by the standards of Warden's, and by the standards of a man who had been a prisoner until a couple of days ago the hall he walked down looked like positive luxury to Hiemal. Coming to a halt outside the appointed door he knocked and then stepped back to stand with his hands folded neatly and confidently behind his back.
Haliath had walked along silently beside her rider, her mind a whirl. This meeting was important, this person they were going to see was in theory a crusader for justice. In theory M'onk was too. She feared what she might find here, feared proof that all of the Watch was rotten not just the man who had started it. Could good come from evil? Or perhaps he had not always been as he was now, she had noi way of knowing that. All they could do was go in and see what was to be seen.
As Hiemal knocked and stepped back Halith sat down, drawing her stance as much to attention as a little dragon could. They would not be found wanting.

The young one and her rider are here. the blue informed his rider, who was currently adding the last touches to his table. He had acquired some treats to share with the weyrling, a plate of freshly baked sweetrolls, a pitcher of fruit juice, and a few other things. He wasn't quite sure how this interview was going to go, and he was hoping that this might make Hiemal feel a little more comfortable with talking to him.
At the knock, E'koyo went over to the door, opening it with a smile towards the green rider and hatchling. The little green was adorable, standing at what could only be her attempt at standing at attention. "Please, come in, and make yourself comfortable. I appreciate you coming."
He hadn't actually looked up the weyrling's age, and was slightly surprised to see a man around his own age. It was a slightly odd feeling, though nothing that would effect the conversation between the two. He made a point of talking to everyone as equals, unless they were very small.
