[[ ** Note: Any mention of "Geostigma" is just a delusion in his head. There is no real Geostigma in the Soquili Universe.
Also, any mention of "Mother" or "Jenova" is not in terms of the Soquili that is already made. That is just another delusion of his. ]]

User ImageThat blasted storm. It had halted all his advances toward finding Mother. And needless to say, it had put Yazoo in a horrid mood the night before. He could remember snapping and breaking things randomly and shouting at the skies. When he laid down that night, he found himself merely resting within the shade of some trees; and was thankful it was dense enough not to let the water drip through and completely soak him. He'd be irritated beyond belief if his precious gun got soaked and damaged. But, since it didn't happen, and he woke up feeling somewhat rested, the silver haired stallion stood from his little nest, and shook off any moisture that did happen to collect on his coat. He looked back, staring at the area he was located within, before trotting out of the woods, his head held high.

Breakfast was the first thing on his agenda, and where he usually found something more nutritious than grass, it seemed like it was the only option right now. He leaned down, sniffing the semi wet blades, before letting out a slight snort. At the very least he wasn't going to eat anything another creature had already munched on. Lifting his head, his bright green eyes scanned the area, looking for a place that seemed like no other creature would happen to go look for to eat. But his eyes stopped, locking on something else. Something he was somewhat shocked to see.

For a moment, his mind formed the image of his Mother. His heart skipped a beat, and he reared up slightly in glee. Running forward, he got within a few yards of the form, before stopping short, blinking several times. It was, of course, his mind playing tricks on him. Yazoo shook out his mane, snorting again in frustration, before peering at what was really there. She was smaller than he was ( but that was a normality; Yazoo was a rather large stallion himself ). Her mane and tail were mostly blond, but had accents of other colors. Her form was the color of his own Geostigma, though she had accents of white and rainbow colors, as well as some skull like markings. She wasn't like a normal mare that he saw around. Generally Yazoo had seen several odd mares, but none with coloration like this. His head tilted some, and a slight snort shifted out of his nose as he stared toward the mare. Honestly, he hated never being able to find Mother, being able to find the cure to his disease. But what was he to do? He growled softly, eyes lowering for a second, before letting his eyes glance back up toward the mare once more, eyes flickering along her.

".... Hn." Was the only audible noise Yazoo could release, without wanting to scream his head off for the mare not being Mother. Even though, of course, it wasn't her fault.

Storms were such an annoyance. Sure, the forest and grass needed them to grow, but really, must there be so much rain. When the storm started, Awinita snorted and quickly moved from her spot in the clearing to some cover in the trees of the nearby forest. It wasn't the greatest, but it got her through the rainy night. In the morning, the small mare stirred from the ground and shook out her fur, beads of water flying everywhere. Yes, she would have liked to be a little dryer than this, but she wasn't absolutely soaked either, besides her fur would dry out when she went to the clearing and sunned herself. Blowing her bangs out of her eyes, at least, briefly, she set off back into the clearing to fill her stomach.

Out in the sun, she let out a happy nicker from the feeling of warmth and her dark fur absorbed the heat much more. Allowing herself to dry, she lowered her head and started to pluck blades of grass from the ground, munching happily. Her mood would improve a little more if she had some company, or at least, someone to play some playful tricks on. Her father always told her that she would never make any true friends if she continued to pull her little 'tricks' on them since they would never come to trust her. That caused her to snort and lift her head. If they were her true friends, they would know when she was serious and when she wasn't, it was their fault not hers. Shaking her head, she just returned to feeding herself.

Just as she finished with her grazing, the sound of something approaching her and fast, caught her attention, ears pricking up. Looking in the direction the sound was coming from, she blinked at the sight of a large form running toward her, it soon turning to the image of a large stallion. Unsure if the other was coming to attack her, just before the other stopped, she hop-stepped to the side to possibly avoid a tackle or whatever her mind had imagined. When the stallion did stop, she gave an annoyed glare at him, as if expecting that he would know he done wrong for nearly giving her a heart attack. As she stood, she eyed the stallion, trying to guess his reasoning for approaching her so fast. What mainly caught her eye was the wrap that was on his body. It was much like her great grandfather's, she believed he called it a coat or a jacket... one of the two. But there was another item she had no idea what it was, that hung off the side of the stallion. She looked at it for some time until he let out what she believed was a grunt. Tearing her gaze from the odd object, she shifted her weight on her hooves impatiently. "So... what do you want?"

By the time that Yazoo heard the words, he was already about to leave. He hated the fact that he had to find her; that he needed it more than he needed air. And every time he saw a mare, he thought it was her. Thought that it was the mare that he was able to save and keep close to him once more. His Mother. She evaded him like the plague, even if she didn't mean to. Shaking out his mane, the stallion turned his bright green eyes back toward the mare speaking, eyes flickering down along her form for a few moments. She was different, but not enough to prove to be Mother. His eyes lingered on the skulls at her flank, before moving back to lock with her gaze. His ears swiveled, and then pinned back, eyes narrowing dangerously before he snorted, nostrils flaring for a moment, before going still.

"What do I want?" He murmured, mimicking the words she spoke, before shaking his head and peering back toward the woods. This was a waste of time. Mother would be farther gone now than before. The storm plus his wasting of time here with another creature would cause problems. He glanced toward the sky for a moment, gathering the time, before letting his eyes flicker back toward the mare. He saw a movement in the grass not far off, and let his eyes linger on that, before moving back toward the mare. After a moment, he let out an almost clicking noise.

The lion moved forward slowly, snarling at the other creature, before looking at Yazoo with dark eyes. He nodded his head toward the forest, nose pointing easily, before she grunted out a growl and turned. She moved slowly forward and toward the forest, moving to scout ahead, her paws barely touching the ground as she moved. The stallion watched for a moment, before looking back down toward the mare, staring at her with a hint of madness in his gaze, uncertain of how to answer the question that was presented to him. He could answer honestly, but there would be no real fun in that... right? Shaking his head some with a half snort, he sighed and held his head high. "I want nothing." He stated matter-of-factly. Not from this mare, at least. He wasn't certain how she could even help him.
