Basic Information

The weapon is essentially the 3GL with a couple of modifications. The weapon is designed to fit more closely to the M8, being designed to fit directly next to the pistol grip, and possess a trigger that is positioned close the pistol grip, but underneath the firing mechanism.

The weapon is essentially a semi-automatic breech loaded weapon with a tubular stacked magazine. The rounds are stocked on top of each other, one after the other, in a linear fashion, with the barrel or tube itself being the only magazine. The rounds are fired in succession, with the back of the first round touching the tip of the first one; while this tubular magazine changes the over-all barrel length, and therefore consistency between rounds, there is less than a 5 m/s difference, and with the low pressure rounds little issue igniting the previous rounds. The rounds are electrically detonated, with the capacity to fire 10,000 rounds with a single battery; as a result of the electronic action, the weapon is water proofed. It has a theoretical maximum or 720 RPM, although the weapon generally fires considerably slower.

The weapon was to designed to fit as closely and neatly as possible to the M8, to both increase ergonomics and to decrease the amount of space required for the weapon attachment to increase it's size in relation to it's position on the rifle. In addition, it's barrel is shorter and is polygonal, and it's own pistol grip has been removed, although it is possible to add one.

Three 40mm grenades add roughly .75 pounds, while three 25mm grenades add approximately .3 pounds. In both models, the launcher is roughly the same size and shape, although the 25mm grenade barrel is smaller but thicker, to compensate for decreased sized and increased pressure.
