"Oh, geez, where did it go..." Poking around the bushes in the park, Ida struggled to get a good look in some of the darker areas, mumbling to herself.
It had been a rather... eventful patrol. She'd found a youma early on and had taken it on, but... after her first attack, the thing had turn and run, forcing her to chaise it down. She couldn't just let it go... she'd already found two people drained of energy, though both times she'd scared it off before it could kill them.
She had to find it, had to dust it... before she lost it long enough for it to really hurt someone. No matter what certain people said, youma were monsters, and the people who used them, who allowed them to run rampant like this, were not much better.

Lassell, was on patrol by himself for the first time and he was a little nervous about it. The first time was when he was with Sailor Maia, but this time around it was just him. He was still adjusting to the idea of being a knight.
He strode past the park and stopped before tilting his head to the side and noticing a senshi poking around the bushes, he tapped his chin and approached her "are you looking for something?" he asked politely.

"Oh!"
Ida straightened up quickly as she heard a voice nearby, clasping her hands behind her like she'd be caught doing something naughty. The person she saw, though, was luckily not a civilian. Rather, he appeared to be a page and new like she was. Surprisingly, it wasn't often that she ran into others of her own rank, since most of her contacts thus far had been with supers and eternals, or knights.
And when she got over the surprise, she silently thanked her karma that he was here.
"Quick, help me find it!" She said as she ran over and grabbed his hand, tugging him back to where she had been looking. "I was fighting a youma, but it ran off and now its getting into trouble. We need to find it and dust it before it kills someone... I was lucky so far that no one has been seriously injured, but that could change."
Releasing him, she stood up straight and looked around desperately, feeling a wash of relief and adrenaline when she finally caught sight of some movement.
"There it goes!" She shouted as she took off after the scurrying shape, one that was really no bigger than a large dog. "Come on!"

Lassell blinked as the senshi rushed her sentence, he lightly sighed and started to help her look for it. " how did it get away?" He said tilting his head to the side, isn't it usually when you find one you destroy it right away, he thought about it some, then put the pieces together. "I take it you are new?" He asked before rifling through the bushes.
Then blinked as she scurried off after the figure " hey wait! Don't go by yourself!" He said as far as he knew a senshi and a knight were a team and helped each other defeat the youma. He blew out a frustrated breath and bolted after her.

Dashing down the street in the afternoon light, Ida chased the fleeting glimpses she got of the youma as it headed for somewhere only it knew. Always, they were just a little behind it, just close enough to not quite loose it... and the chaise led them farther from the bustle and light of the city and more into the less populated, more wooded areas.
Finally, Ida had to stop, having finally lost sight of the monster. Breathing hard, she braced her hands on her hips as she listened hard for it, her dark eyes darting to the growing shadows.
"Its hiding here..." She said quietly when the page joined her, trying to quiet her breathing. "And yes, I am new, but not THAT new. I was fighting it, and it ran away. Its very fast, and pretty smart. It keeps running and hiding from me whenever I get close to it. Like its doing now."

Lassell, thought about it for a bit "yeah...that would make sense" he said thinking about it some more. He glanced around the area they ended up in, "well, if you ask me its hard to spot something in the dark" he said before holding onto his harp. "We can't very well, just wait for it to make an appearance we need to draw it out somehow" he put in "and before you ask, no i do not know how to play this" he told her.

Ida gave the page a confused look when he mentioned not being able to play his harp. Why on earth would you have one if you couldn't play it? It wasn't important right now though and she pushed the thought from her mind.
"Yeah, I know its hard to see, but... I'm afraid to let it go. Its already drained at least two people and the next one could die from it. Please, help me find it." She said as she turned to look at him, clasping her hand together imploringly. Turning, she headed for the bushes on the opposite side of the path they were on, ducking down to search for the youma.
She had a feeling it hadn't gotten far... it seemed to be playing some sort of game with her.

Lassell, thought about it "Why don't we just find a way to lure it out and then we can kill it" he put in politely. He still had to learn how to use his harp, but he would need to do more research and see if he can get some of his questions reeling in his mind, but his main focus was on killing the youma before it did anymore damaged. He tapped his chin lightly trying to think of a way to lure the youma out of the dark so they can take it out.

The idea of a lure was a good one and Ida straightened up as she considered it.
"Well... its been going after civilians. Maybe we need a civilian to draw it out with the promise of energy..." She said as she braced her hands on her hips, surveying the area. Finally turning back to the page, she gave him a long look.
"One, or both, of us could do it... power down and pretend to be civilian. When it attacks, we could power back up and take it down... Do you mind powering down in front of me? I don't want to make you uncomfortable by knowing your identity if you don't want me to... I can be the only one powering down."

Lassell, was a little unsure about powering down in front of the senshi but since pages couldn't do much when they first awaken he would be the perfect choice. He lightly nibbled on his bottom lip before contemplating it thoughtfully. He gazed at her and nodded his head tentatively "I don't mind, since at this stage I can't do much" he said. He let go of his harp and he powered down into his civilian form. He was hoping she wouldn't tell anyone about who his alter ego was he was still a little unsure.

Lassell's face said volumes, so when he powered down, Ida did too in an effort to make him feel better. When she caught sight of who it was though, she grinned and laughed.
"Oh, I know you! I met you at 17 Waverly, on Pi day! You're a friend of Lily's, right?" She said as she offered him her hand. "I don't know if we were introduced before, it was so crazy, but my name is Orah. It's nice to see you again."
Glancing sidelong at the bushes, she straightened her skirt, feeling watched.
"Now we just have to wait..."

Trevor nods his head "yes, we did..briefly..before Lily and I left" he said, the memory of being called a 'd**k' still fresh in his mind. He blew out a breath and extended out his hand and shook hers "Nice to meet you, Orah. My name is Trevor" he said.
"I suppose that is all we can do." he put in as he surveyed the area quietly, seeing if the whole plan of luring the youma out had worked or not. He was hoping no one else was around, or that would be really bad.

At least they didn't have long to wait. The youma had been prowling around in the shadows and, sensing the power signatures go out, had come back to see what it could find. The two civilians were a tempting target, alone in the middle of no where.
When they had their backs to its hiding spot, the plant-looking youma lept from cover with a hissing roar, its bud-like mouth wide open to suck in their energy. Startled, Orah gave a shriek as she dodge out of the way, grabbing for her pen as she turned to face the monster.
Not waiting for Lassell or the youma, she called out "Ida Power, Make-up!" and let the light of the transformation wash over her. She had to finish this before the beast realized what she was...
As soon as her shoes hit the ground, she was rushing at it, calling out her attack as she swept her arm in front of her. "Beautiful Petal Darts!"
The glowing needles pelted the beast as it roared again, in pain this time.

Trevor blinked and leapt out of range before holding his hand up waiting for his harp to shimmer in front of him. Once it did he grabbed it with both hands and let the shimmering light cover him before appearing as Lassell. He blinked as he ended up behind the youma, thinking that keeping him occupied from behind would assist Ida in defeating the monster once and for all. He really needed to learn how to use his harp. Since all he could do was defensive.
He dodged once again when Ida used her attack, he shook his head and slid stopping in a crouching position with one leg extended out. "Warn me next time you try to do that" he called over. At least with Maia, she would warn him of her oncoming attack.

Oops. Well, at least her attack wasn't strong enough to really hurt the page. She'd have to be more careful in the future if she kept fighting with a partner.
"Sorry!" She called out, distracted by the youma as she punted it into a tree. Another heel to its bud-shaped head and it shrieked as it dusted, puffing into a cloud that slowly settled to the ground.
Panting, Ida smiled triumphantly, placing her hands on her hips as she caught her breath.
"Finally! Man, that was a bit of a chase to get that one... and really was weak, to go down so easily." Turning, she came back to shyly offer Lassell her hand, reaching up with her free hand to tuck her hair back. "And again, I'm really sorry about that. I'm not used to fighting with someone else, I didn't expect you to be right behind him like that. And... thank you, very much, for helping me trick it into getting close enough for me to get rid of it."
