Tekashi was walking along with Atlas, they had decided to go for a jaunt in the more populated areas of the South. She had heard there were interesting biological specimens down here, she brought sir Atlas along for companship. She adored his strong company and when he wasn't working with his father she liked to steal him for excursions and such.

Atlas stayed loyally by Tekashi's side, his honed senses searching for any danger that might attempt to harm the mare. Tekashi was, after all, his princess and he her dark knight. At least, that's how she'd described the relationship. When she explained what the terms meant, he couldn't help agreeing. He frowned when his ears picked up noise up ahead. "... There are Azrien up ahead. ... Loud Azrien."

"Well if you would run this herd the way it is supposed to be, you would have less problems with them defecting for love of all things you dufous!" "If I ran this herd like you want there would be no one left becuase they would all defect rather then be destroyed by each other under your tyranny!"Tekashi walked a little closer. "Yes they are being most loud and obnoxious..go pummle one and see if they make the same noise."

Atlas did not question the order; he didn't even nod his head to acknowledge it. He simply acted. The stallion shot forward, his eyes fixing first on a mass of red. His target located, he launched at the stallion, ready to smash his bones like he'd once crushed rocks. There was no speech, no warning, no battle cry. Atlas just did what he did best: attack.

Tiburnon's only warning was the slight widening of Avalanche's eyes, no one ever attacked them it was always them sending minions to attack others this was unprecidented and yet it happened. Tiburnon was slammed into and rolled into a pile of legs and tails by a stallion who had a coat a very dilute color of his own. Was this some offspring he didn't know about? He struggled and tried to think about his past females at the same time. He squealed loudly at the inruder who kept stomping on his perfect tail.
Avalanche for his part was overly amused at his rivals bad luck. At the very least he was going to pin him for misconduct in the line of du..well arguing. Had Tibs done something wrong to this dried blood stallion or..was there a better reason. Avalanche looked around and saw one of those reasons. A pale mare who's eyes danced merrily. He hoped she and Sharsha never ever met.
Tekashi, noticed the grey notice her and winked at him, she could see Atlas find his footing before the red and she waited for him to turn and pounce on the other, thoroughly enjoying the view and the havoc and the consternation her Prince was causing. So that was the sound of a troubled stallion, how interesting.

Atlas continued to pound the squealing stallion, despite how the sound irritated him. Pathetic. It was a pathetic sound. Maybe if he cracked a bone or two he'd change his tune. Since Tekashi hadn't ordered his withdrawal, he went ahead and tested that theory. His hoof slammed into the red stallion's shoulder, mentally smiling at the satisfying crack that resulted. And he would probably keep pounding away at the stallion until Tekashi ordered a stop or the stallion was near death--at which point he'd turn to Tekashi to confirm if a death was in the plan or not.

"Atlas." Was all she said, Avalanche had a smirky look on his face that needed to be wiped off, in her opinion neither of them had been right in that argument.
Tibs eyes watered and he snapped at Atlas's hoof, he took a chunk of skin off too. This hurt that brute!
Avalanche seemed somewhat less amused. Was she calling him off one and onto the other..which happened to be him? Uh oh. This was bad. He could fight better since he was older and better prepared then Tiburnon was, but he was sure he would get bruises before this day was over. "You are Flighty's daughter?"
Tekashi nodded and waited.

Atlas's hoof froze when Tekashi spoke, and although he snarled at the red stallion's bite, he didn't attack again. He glared at the pitiful male before walking back over to Tekashi. He shook his injured leg experimentally before deciding the damage wasn't enough to shift his weight from it. "... Pathetic." The squealing, the struggling, the pitiful attack. Completely pathetic.

"At the very least he drew blood." Tekashi looked at the grey and Avalanche slipped down one of the secret tunnels with Tiburnon limping behind him. That shoulder was going to take forever to heal. Tekashi made note of the tunnel and sighed in contentment. "Much more quiet now, good work my Dark Prince. I expected more, perhaps if the red knew we were coming he would have been ready, he would have done better not to let his conscience focus entirely on the grey."
Avalanche shook his head. That was some dangerous stuff, he should know, it would behoove him to talk to them again, he was certain the male wouldn't listen and the female made his hair stand on end. He listened to the uneven clop of Tiburnon's gait. Well that would teach him for being Mr. All Powerful. No one ever really was.
Tiburnon groaned, too sore to look back. Oh that had hurt it was like getting smacked by a tornado from nowhere.

"You'd think he'd know how to get out of such a situation..." That was part of the basics, at least in his training. It was easy to get knocked down; the trick was to know how to fight from the ground. He smiled at Tekashi's approval and nodded in her agreement about the red stallion's focus. Glancing towards the tunnel, he spoke again. "... I agree with the grey one. The red one's not fit to lead. The grey one might have at least given me a decent fight and would not have squealed like a baby boar."

She nuzzled his neck. "Age is probably the difference there. Skills yes but maturity counts more." She brushed along him like a happy cat. "Now be sure to remember where they went down just in case we ever need to use this pathway."

Atlas nodded, memorizing the location of the passage before relishing in Tekashi's affectionate behavior. His father's vengeance plans seemed very far away when he was with the mare. Even more than that, he actually, well, enjoyed himself when he was with her. As he lightly nuzzled her back he asked, "We aren't going to follow them?"

"No the red might not survive. I wouldn't want to anilalate them completely I just wanted some quiet so we might talk without interuption or distraction and they were very distracting." She snorted in their direction. She relaxed more with him then most others, he seemed to extripate all the threats around her. She wasn't helpless but disliked doing more, whereas he had no problem. "What were we talking about my love, I seem to have forgotten."

Atlas nodded to her logic, but her question pulled him off-guard. "... It seems I have forgotten as well." When he fought other Azrien, he used all of his focus; apparently it made him forget their previous conversation.

"Well perhaps we could continue on in another vein I saw...a hedgehog the other day, first one of the season. How bout that." She grinned. "What say you to that?" She waited expectantly for the look on his face. She knew it was going to be funny she just knew it.
