Troy was wandering the hallways again. Andrew really needed to get over his shyness and just ask the front desk lady out already. Troy wasn't sure how many more excuses he could think up just to drag Troy here and have a nice two hour chat with the lady behind the desk. Did he even know her name yet?
Sigh.
On the upside, he'd gotten to meet a few of his future classmates this way. He was getting ready to settle down in a random hallway with his psp when he spotted a brown haired angelic meta. He waved and said a polite, "Hey." Maybe he'd stay and talk a while.

Thanks to everything that had happened around the school Taylor had pretty much been on lock down at home like a caged bird. Finally after some long debating they'd finally gotten permission to at least go around the school since it would possibly be a lot safer. Sure Taylor would have probably liked to have been out on the town but even they knew that would be impossible at the moment.
Walking around with their hands in their dark orange puffy overall shorts Taylor looked from here and there as they tried to get to know the place a bit more. There weren't that many people but out of the corner of their eye Taylor spotted someone waving at them. Taylor instantly stopped and looked over, tilting their head. Wings seemed to fluff a little before Taylor put on a slight smile and went on over. All Taylor's mind thought was how interesting this person's wings and eyes looked.
"Hello," Taylor said as they got closer but instead of meeting the boy directly Taylor stood beside the boy to get a better look at his wings. "Interesting looking wings you have. My name is Taylor just in case you wanted to know and to not be rude." Taylor looked over to make eye contact before they went to look back at the boy's wings to touch them. It was probably the face that Taylor hadn't really seen demon wings that color before.

Troy was pleased when the other boy came over to talk. When the other guy, Taylor just starts ogling his wings and even touching them, Troy kind of swallowed his tongue in surprise.
"Hey man, boundries. I know I'm practically human albino but look with your eyes, not your hands please." He couldn't resist chuckling though. Who just came up to you and started touching? "I'm glad you like them though? My name's Troy. I think I got these colors because my item was light colored."

Taylor knew that touching the other was a no-no but who would actually resist. "Sorry. I couldn't help it." The tone in the angel's voice clearly sounded disappointed and even moved a bit away. Eyes now went they other eyes. "You're eyes are nice too. You should be thankful to your item." Suddenly Taylor stuck out their hand to shake hands. Though seeing that the other boy didn't put out his hand fast enough Taylor just went up and took it, shaking it firmly before letting go. "Are you new too or have you just been locked up in your house to with your over protective parents that won't even let you go out to even meet the rest of your family." The angel knew that it wouldn't be the same reason but Taylor just wanted to get another laugh out of the boy in front of him.

Another laugh he did receive. Troy grinned, this guy sure was enthusiastic about everything. It was nice to see someone like that. "Ha, thanks, they're a real pain in bright lights though."
He might not have put his hand out fast enough, but he did shake back so that Taylor wasn't shaking a limp fish hand. "I guess you could say I'm new. I live with my dad. He's not going to let me live here till I'm a teen. But I like living with him. He owns a car garage."

This person really was a good one. "Oh I see and it's the same for me. My fathers won't let me yet. Are you excited for it? I am for the chance to get to live with someone else and be independent. I wonder who I'll get. I don't care who it is as long as I get along with them." Taylor was a little chatter but could you blame them after being locked up and only having their parents to talk to or trying online. "Hey do you think we're allowed to find out before or is that not allowed?" They asked scratching the back of their head. "I guess it would be better as a surprise but I am curious."

"I don't know." Troy said as he thought about it. "It would make sense that the room mates are asigned as the child is signed up so we might not even have assignments yet."
"I think I'll like living with someone too. But I know I'll miss my Dad. He teaches me all sorts of fun things and he has this old junkyard out back with this tall fence that he lets me graffiti with anything I want."

"You're probably right so that means you have to be patient about it. Darn." A sigh came out from Taylor's mouth as they also looked disappointed but that went away as they listened to Troy talk about his place. "You graffiti? Isn't that suppose to be bad? But anyway you can always go back and forth. Sleep at the dorms and back at your dad's place. That's what I plan to do but I'd like to stay more at the dorms. Have a feel for being a grown up, y'know?" A grin now on Taylor's face before crossing their arms. "I'm also starting to think you got a much cooler father too."

Troy laughed, "Yeah he's pretty cool. But he's bad with women. He's been flirting with the front desk lady for I don't know how long and I don't even know her name. As for graffiti, it's art. But the only bad thing is that people put it up in places they shouldn't. Dad doesn't mind me painting his fence though."
He definitely didn't want to stay away from Andrew, he was an awesome Dad and he'd miss him come teen hood dorm living. "Yeah I'll have to visit all the time."

Taylor covered their mouth and laughed a little about Troy's stopped but it soon stopped as they heard the part about graffiti being art. Taylor had only ever heard about it being a bad thing and that only bad people did it. Troy didn't seem like the bad type plus art was always good. "You're going to have to show me your art one day and I think your father should try hard or she'll slip through his fingers. People like confidence but she could also like the shyness. He should still be more confident and go for it. He could at least say he tried." The angel nodded to agree with themself. "If he was here I would try to push him to do it or just go to her directly and leave hints but that's me. Any, yes you must show me your graffiti so I can see if you might be a bad boy or good after all. I'm not saying right now if you don't want to but you must one day."

"I think my Dad's just been burned a few too many times. He's a really nice person, I just don't think he's had good luck with women in the past so he's taking this crush of his really slowly." Troy shrugged. He was rooting for his dad, but at the same time he'd be more then happy if things just stayed the same. He was happy with the family being just him and his father. "I'd love to show you my art sometime. The shop is super cool too. There's always something new to learn and fun things to watch."

"Oh I see then maybe he is taking the right approach but he shouldn't keep a lady waiting." Taylor crossed their arms and nodded to himself. "But yes you must show me your so called 'art'. I don't mind when but you might have to look for me. Like I said my fathers are protective with me and rarely let me out but I will try my best to sneak out to see this amazing place you take about. The things is that I may not have something amazing to show you back and that bothers me. The only amazing things I have are in my room and they're just stuff." A frown came onto Taylor's face as this bothered the child. Troy had his hand on a talent let Taylor had none yet. Never has their mind thought of this until just now. Taylor would have to change that soon and maybe look up things to try.

"Do you have a phone number or an email address or something? Those're usually pretty good ways to keep in touch." Troy suggested. "And why do you need something to show me back? It sounds like you want to pay me to show you what interests me. Which is silly. I like showing my art and my Dad's shop is just really cool."

"Huh? Oh yeah. Here let me give it too you. Well only my email since I don't have a phone yet." Digging into their pocket, Taylor pulled out a small pack of stick notes with cute designs of birds printed on them. Writing down his email address Taylor handed it over to the other boy before staring at him before talking. "It sure doesn't seem fair but I'm still going to make up for it. Maybe not know but I will one day. It's only fair no matter what you say." There was no way the angel was taking no for an answer. If they wanted to do something they were going to do it no matter what unless of course they lost interest.

"Okay, if that's something you feel like you need to do. I'm not going to stop you." Troy said, slightly puzzled by the need to 'make things fair'. He took the post-it with the birds on it and put it in his pocket. "That post-it's awesome. Do you want me to write my email down for you too?" He didn't have business cards like his dad, or handy post-its in his pocket, but he was sure Taylor wouldn't mind lending him a post-it.
