Amarus loved birds, and she always had. It was just instinctive, and she didn't particularly understand why she liked them as much as she did. Her Ghost Treat, Crow, often mimicked birdlike movements. And Amarus had, one day while watching Crow preen by a window in the dorms while she attempted not for the first time that night to read the first paragraph of a text book, realized that she would very much like to see a certain feathered individual again-- after all, it had been quite a while.

So she had went about getting ahold of Muka, inviting him to meet her an afternoon some few days later to try her newest baking endeavour: teatime biscuits, scones and crumpets. She didn't have the tea thing going on for her, but she did have these snacks to try out, and who better to tempt than Muka?

Besides, the more she could experiment with her dosage levels, the better.

Muka was always happy to meet a friend and even more happy to meet a friend who was providing food! When she mentioned tea he made a point to acquire some from his ghoulfriend and so even though Amarus wasn't providing the beverage, he was happy to make up the slack.

He arrived with a small parcel of tea (and tea brewing paraphenalia that had been pushed upon him by Needle and Lattice both) and his usual large grin.

"Helloooo.." He hooted in greeting.

"Hey, Muka," Amarus greeted him, around a mouthful of booberry scone. It was an errant bit, snapped off of an unusable small piece back when she'd prepared the actual teatime snacks. On a platter set on the table were several different types of both scones and biscuits: one biscuit had a macha swirl, and another was dusted lightly with sugar and cinnamon. There were only a few of each type, since she had merely changed the additions after making a basic batch; basically, it was a narcotic sampler pack.

"What is that you've got with you?" she asked, tilting her head, her bells ringing. She was referring to the bundle of tea supplies.

After a moment's pause, she added: "It's very nice to see you again."
