 "I don't know what any of them will be, though..." She stood up carefully, looking at the egg between her paws. "If... You're certain she'll take care of it, you can have this egg, Kirlia." She shook her head, using one foot to nudge it towards the green Pokemon. "To be honest, I doubt my mistress cares who gets them."
She paused and looked pointedly towards the Umbreon, "But I do."

 To both girl's stares, the umbreon turned his head, muzzle up in the air with a tempered yawn as if they weren't even worth acknowledging. Fangs gleaming in the sunlight, he returned to preening, smoothing out the fur along his forepaws. When the egg was nudged forward however, he stopped, bright green eyes focused on it with his body tensed to spring. Either way, he was intent on stealing it from someone. "Yune's in a bad mood today." Came the soft reply, a quiet murmur that he knew the umbreon would hear anyway. With a grin, the trainer shrugged, realizing the girl was trying to be considerate. "Don't worry, I'm not easily pushed around if not for him." Straightening up, he slid his hands into his pockets, looking at the three and wondering if he should risk picking up the shiny umbreon. It didn't seem like he was very welcomed-- but that was no surprise. "So what is this pretty lady doing here? Is she just giving the eggs away?"Curiously, he backtracked to what he heard Evangeline saying earlier, glancing to the trainer beside him.

 Athena generally was kind, though she certainly didn't appreciate the way the Umbreon was acting as if he owned the place. "Thank you," the Kirlia said before quickly scampering forward to pick up the egg offered. She felt distrusting of the way the green-furred pokemon looked at it. She protectively cradled it in her arms. Her red eyes narrowed into a glare.
"You should ask, yes? Ask before taking," she scolded. She didn't want this to turn into a fight, but if he wouldn't leave the eggs alone..
For a moment, Ev didn't reply. Instead, she picked up her guitar and slung it in its rightful place on her back. "Yeah," she finally answered with a nod. "My Kirlia tells me her 'mistress' won't let her keep 'em."

"You're both noisy." The reply curt and haughty, the umbreon stood up on all fours, weighing his options briefly. If he were normal, he would have baulked at the idea of possibly fighting two-- or more-- Pokemon in an open park without his trainer's consent. As it were however, he wasn't thinking of it, eyes fixated on the blue striped egg as dark fog flared around his paws. "Whoops-- Don't do that."Grabbing Yune by the scruff of the neck as soon as he sprang towards Sapphire, the redhead hauled his Pokemon back, hugging the fighting feline to his chest and trapping him against his own body. Ignoring the tearing and shredding of his cotton sleeves, he didn't so much as flinch when Yune sank his fangs into his forearm, letting the dark-type draw blood. Moving so that the angry lashes of tail didn't affect anyone else, he smiled pleasantly at the girls, knowing the umbreon wasn't serious if all he was doing was getting physical. "If you'd let me, I can take one in for you. I'm sorry Yune's a little bit rowdy, but he's nice otherwise."

The sight of the dark aura honestly made Athena a little nervous and she had begun bouncing back and forth on her toes. Fighting wasn't her forté--and she especially didn't want to get physical when she was holding onto the egg. It could crack, or worse, break. Letting both the beautiful pokemon and her trainer down like that would be very, very upsetting. When the Umbreon was scooped up, the Kirlia visibly relaxed. However, she bounced towards her trainer's legs and held up the egg she was given. Mainly white, with a few red stripes. "And that is no way to treat your trainer!" the pokemon squeaked as she observed him biting and scratching. As the egg was handed to her, Evangeline tucked it close to her body. She, too, stared as the Umbreon continued his attempts to escape. "Doesn't appear to be a friendly little thing," she commented with a raise of her brow. Of course, she only just met the two, so who was she to judge. "Seems like some'ne needs a time out," Ev added though in a more teasing manner. "Thanks, by the way," the pink-haired girl added in regards to the poor pokemon having to sit through all of this. She crouched down, giving Sapphire a friendly pet on the head.

That little Umbreon sure did seem to be a hassle. Again, Sapphire bristled at the threat, but the Pokemon's trainer stepped in quickly enough that it wasn't the biggest of deals. But... It was kind of odd the way the Pokemon was treating its trainer. She would have spoken up, but the Kirlia beat her to it, and she simply nodded in agreement.
The blue Pokemon stood perfectly still for a moment, simply staring at the red-haired boy. She examined him, confused by his smile despite the ridiculous Umbreon in his arms. She wasn't sure if it was a good thing that the Pokemon wanted an egg so badly; who knew what it wanted to do with it! But the trainer really did seem kind enough... She let out a short noise, that sounded little more than a "Jolt." to human ears, to the Pokemon it was a rather stern "Fine."
She moved closer to the male trainer and lifted her cloud-like mane towards him and his Pokemon, offering the choice to the trainer.
It was then that the female trainer crouched down to pat her on the head. Verveine wasn't a physically affectionate trainer--or very openly affectionate at all, really--so when the girl patted her, she visibly tensed and let out an awkward little squeak.

Outright ignoring Athena, the umbreon remained still after a couple minutes of thrashing, lip curled back with his fangs still embedded in Shou's arm. Tail still lashing every couple of seconds, Yune let go when he realized the blood was seeping into his fur, turning his head and trying to get the iron taste out of his mouth.
"He's friendly on good days." Cheerfully, the redhead kept his pokemon close, pressing a small candy into the umbreon's mouth to help him rid the taste. To the next remark, he merely laughed. Giving Yune a timeout would instigate nothing less than losing his arm the next time the angry dark-type was let out. When Sapphire approached him, Shou held still in quiet admiration. It was only from a second bite to his hand that the redhead flinched, taking Yune's jealousy in stride. Carefully picking up one of the small eggs-- the blue and white striped one with mind that that was the one his pokemon probably wanted-- the trainer smiled with a small, grateful word of thanks.

"Guess it's not a good day then, huh," she remarked, drawing back from the pokemon that made a strange squeak after receiving the gesture of affection. She suppose she just wasn't used to it. It wouldn't be surprising if the trainer didn't show much affection however, considering she made her pokemon come out here alone to give away eggs. As far as Evangeline was aware, the beautiful creature wasn't one hundred percent on board with that idea but there wasn't much that could be done about that now. She'd already given two away.
"You are rude. Rude rude rude!" the Kirlia chimed, dancing around the red-headed trainer in a more childish mockery. She didn't quite fear being snapped at--after all, he hadn't exactly attacked her or Sapphire yet. He didn't say much either. And it was more reassuring with the trainer having a grip on the Umbreon. "If you hurt that egg, I give you your own medicine."

Sapphire shook her head. She somehow doubted very much that that Umbreon was ever friendly, but she couldn't really say for sure; it's not as if she could read its mind or anything... Perhaps it was occasionally friendly.
"Kirlia." She finally said softly, hoping to draw the smaller Pokemon's attention. "There are no others and there are still two eggs remaining..." She hesitated for a moment, glancing up at the sun's position in the sky. "My mistress will want me returning soon... But I do not wish to simply abandon these." She motioned towards the two trainers, hesitating again when her eyes fell on the Umbreon.
"Perhaps the trainers would like to take another egg, each?

"It'll be a good day later." With a happy-go-lucky grin, the trainer stood up, making sure to keep a careful hold of Yune. It wasn't until the umbreon managed to click open his own pokeball and retired in an indignant huff that the redhead relaxed, tucking the small device away against his belt. As he usually was, Yune still managed to leave with the same air of condescendingly superiority-- as though it was beneath him to actually address the Kirlia. Taking note, Shou crouched down again. Knowing better than to reach out for her, he merely smiled. "Aren't you a beautiful little lady?" Cheerful, he offered her a small berry-- different from the one he had given Yune, but milder and sweeter in taste for what he assumed the psychic Pokemon would like. "Sorry about him. He doesn't know how to handle himself around pretty Pokemon."When Sapphire spoke up again, he stayed respectfully quiet-- understanding, at least, that it was not him who was being addressed.

Understanding the trainer's English perfectly well, the Kirlia bounced happily on her toes at the compliments. It wasn't too often that she got them from other humans, but when she did, they made her more than excited. 'Thank you, trainer!' Athena telepathically sent the red-haired boy, chirping, doing a twirl, and with a curtsy, accepted the berry. After only one tiny nibble, she turned back to face the strangely mixed pokemon to hear out her question.
"I am sure they would both love another egg," the Kirlia said with a smile. She extended her arms out in a silent offer to have some of her gifted berry to the blue, purple and white creature.
To her own trainer, Athena relayed the message. "Another egg, huh?" Evangeline repeated. She looked over at Shou. "She has to get going, so she was wondering if we wanted another egg each." Turning her attention to Sapphire once more, Ev smiled. "If you wouldn't mind, I'd like another."

Sapphire was hesitant of the Kirlia's offer, staring at the berry curiously. It wasn't that she didn't enjoy berries--Verveine grew tonnes and they were always on hand--but it was a gift to the Kirlia; she didn't want to take even a tiny bit of that from her. After all, gifts were rather precious, Sapphire believed.
"It was for you, little one."
Little one. Sapphire and the Kirlia stood at about the same height, really...
The hybrid Pokemon stood carefully, leaning down to let the eggs gently roll from her cloud-like mane to the grassy ground.
"Thank you. And the trainers for being kind enough to take these."
