This is the throne room of the Sky Kingdom. It is a large room that is eccentrically decorated with all sorts of fine art and packed with expensive ornaments to show off just how rich the Royal Family is.

The Throne Room, mid-day. A large blade was suddenly stabbed into the ground in front of the throne, and behind it, sitting on the throne was the Emperor. Or rather, the Emperor, circa 500 years ago. Emperor Noveria III sat upon his throne, slouching back with his sword stabbed in front of him, an annoyed look on his face. His annoyance slowly turned to rage "What's this about Magic? Heroes? There is only one hero in this world and that's me... I would call them a crime against nature but... I suppose that would be hypocritical for me."

 "What is it now? I was in the middle of a meditation session when I overheard your yelling all the way across the hall." A female voice asked from the doorway as she leaned against the frame. Arms hanging loosely over the hilt of her oversized blade as she perched her wrists on it. Looking at the Emperor with her curious eyes. How those eyes seemed to always hold some type of mischief and mystery in them.

The Emperor immediately placed his eyes on Azure, she was currently employed, working for him. It would be a stretch to call her a friend, more like a distant ally, though he'd only been in this world for a small amount of time anyways, so no one was truly a friend. But he had no time to consider such things, the man stood from his throne, an expression of rage on his face "It's been a week since I took the throne and already someone challenges me! These... Heroes... and their Magic, they are a complete mystery to me! I don't like mystery...." he said to her before he started pacing around the room angrily "I cannot even predict their actions... but they are a threat... a great threat, they need to be dealt with." he said before he came to a sudden stop "Where are the others?" he asked shooting her a glare.

"Someone woke up on the wrong side of the bed this morning." she thought to herself before giving him her full attention, or most of it anyway since she wasn't in the mood to answer to an angry emperor. "It is my duty to serve and protect you my lord. Not keep track of the other's whereabouts. But if I had a clue, I'd say some where still on the premises doing who knows what. As for others, I absolutely have no idea."

The Emperor lowered his eyes hearing Azure. She was right, she wasn't his secretary, but he needed his team together right now. The man let out an annoyed sigh, he still didn't like her tone to him. He was the Emperor, his words were absolute, his authority was divine. However, it would be a mistake to make an enemy out of the one who watches your back, especially someone who could stab you there. Noveria walked back to his throne and sat down "We have full control over this city, the first of many conquests. We have made an enemy out of every other nation on the planet.. yet everyone is just playing around... save you, so far."

Pelleas walked in the throne room, going toward the Emperor. He bowed slightly.
"My apologies sir...I heard you yell, and became worried." he said. Pelleas remained silent, and just decided it was a good idea to listen to what he had to say.

She smirked upon hearing the Emperor's words and glanced at Pelleas as he walked in and bowed to the emperor. "I don't play around when it comes to work my lord. Work and social life are two separate things that I tend to keep apart. But because I'm always watching you, I don't have much of a social life. Though I do have my moments, where I can be as playful as a kitty." she looked away, smiling to herself.

Noveria immediately turned his glare to Pelleas as he entered the room "You're late. Most likely because you were wooing women, no doubt." it wasn't clear if Noveria was being sarcastic or honest in his guess, it was always hard to tell with him. The man arched an eyebrow at Azure as she spoke, now those were truly strange words from her, well the last part "A small feline is hardly what I would use to describe you..." he commented. The man lowered his eyes down to his sword, it was time to explain the situation to Pelleas "Heroes. Magic. Rumor has it that they pose a great threat to me. Some of them are even on this city. I do not like that."

"I would approach this differently really. It is...a challenge that you must overcome. To be the bigger hero." he said, calmly.

 Frank was leaning against a wall of the throne room. As things started getting tense he smiled and a calm aura would be felt in the room.
"So these Heroes...how will we deal with them?"
He asked, approaching the group
"I am sure we could eliminate this threat effortlessly, right? They're just concoctions of the Magic... Surely they can be talked out of this madness, if not, we can deal with them."

 Thresher Maw Oh come now little one... Thresher walked into the throne room, licking the blood from his blade as he heard about all the others,"Oh? Does this mean I get ti kill them all? Noveria didn't really look at the other two allies as they entered the room. The full team was here, there was Azure, his bodyguard. Pelleas, their resident intellectual, Frank, whom Noveria frankly couldn't stand but dealt with anyways because of his unique powers. Then there was Thresher, a questionably dangerous man, but a leader always needed a man like him by his side, you can't always be the good guy. The man stayed on his throne as he explained "We are not to underestimate Magic... Pelleas will know the most about this. It is not like us... we are unnatural... everything we do generates Chaos. But these Heroes... they can wield powers like us... without becoming abominations like us Paradoxes. They are an enigma. A mystery that must be solved. When the time comes we will kill them, they pose too big of a threat. But first Pelleas will need to research them."

Azure nodded at Noveria's words and before taking a sip from her bottle of water. Taking in the refreshing taste of the cold sensation pouring down her throat. The bottle was close to empty when a careless motion caused her to drop the bottle and spill the water on herself. Making her pout like a teenager. Something she rarely did. "Aw, I just had this dry cleaned." she muttered under her breath. Drying to brush off the water discretely as to not interrupt the emperor's speech.
