Name:
Caesar Elpidio Valdez
Race:
Siren
Age:
14
History
The Valdez family was once among the poorest families in Spain, serving in the lowest ranks of society until the Solindo's took their claim of the throne. At that point, after a long and difficult war, trustful men were rare, but one man of the Valdez family, along with men from four other families, pledged his loyalty through a song of magic, promising that they would serve the Solindo king until death. They were rewarded with wealth and titles, along with the promise that their families would never be left to hunger or despair. Several hundred years have passed since then, and while all involved in the ceremony have long been dead, not a single man of the five families can deny that they feel automatic loyalty to the Solindo bloodline. Currently, Caesar's third cousin is the direct descendant of the man who pledged his loyalty, therefore earning the right to keep the title his ancestor held.
With three younger siblings, Caesar has always held a strong sense of commitment to his family. He strives to be like his parents who work hard to create the best home for their family; his mother as a seamstress in the Siren Capital, and father as a baker. The couple always manages to keep the household together even with their jobs, showing Caesar that hard work pays off in time. For the past several years, his parents have reversed their traditional gender roles, meaning that his father now cares for the kids and household as his mother works more and more. While this used to be a rare occurrence, more and more Siren homes have done the same. Unlike most children, Caesar understands that his society is changing, and he is willing to adapt with it.
Personality:
Caesar is perceptive of most things, yet his temper is his biggest interference. There are certain topics that cause him to rile easily, but in most situations, he manages to act as most of the Spanish Sirens do; smooth talk and overdramatized flirting that covers up several true meanings.
Hobbies:
Singing is a natural love of Sirens, as is swimming. However, Caesar has one other love, and that is his sketchbook, where he draws everything he holds dear to him.
