Personality: The cunning and pure tenacity of this man is a forced to be reckoned with. Cariad , although very habitual, is also unpredictable in battle--he is deadly and never one to be picky about being "clean" in battle.
He does seem to hold little in regard for morals, but he does respect a good ideology, regardless if he can agree with it or not.
Biography: Son to a Successful Alchemist, an Alchemist who studied the beings called Paradox very closely. His Mother often was away on official business to introduce her work and accomplishments. His father was a failed Alchemist himself, unable to live to the stature of his wife's he became increasing jealous and destructive.
While Cariad met little of his mother he did study alchemy and her study of Paradoxes to heart. He never hated her, he did desire her to stay with him. After his mother's fame had reached her peak she ultimately killed herself in the highlight of her downfall--unable to withstand the limelight not reach her.
Her Paradox research was left to nothing but a single wooden blade.
After her death Cariad's father began to fall into even a deeper depression, alcohol became his water. Where once Cariad lived in the height of luxury, he soon feel to a destitute home with his father. His father, who spent the remaining fortune on his needs and never his son's.
Cariad openly displayed his hatred for his father, it would not fall on deaf ears. His father began to abuse him physically and sexually. Eventually just throwing the boy away all together.
But even after he was broken, Cariad stood drawn to the wooden blade his mother left...with it he discovered something miraculous...Magic...He began to feel a overwhelming pulse of magic become one with him...
He used the wooden blade to beat his father to death....He was free, no, better than free.....Powerful...
The blade began to reveal itself as a Paradox...who desired a master--Cariad. If Cariad were to follow his true nature the sword would stay by his side forever.
Cariad soon began to live as a Nobleman, living as an alchemist himself, enjoying the heights of luxury once again. But soon dark temptations grew...women became more like prizes to him their outstanding qualities would become his. Once again he would turn to murder to calm down his avarice.
His Noble status is still in check, but his work seems to be fading and his interests in alchemy lost....it seems that his avarice is becoming him

Carbon Manipulation: He can manipulate the Carbon Atoms. This includes the density and arrangement of them. A common use is that he uses it to strength the durability of his skin--as he is a Carbon life form(Like all Humans)
He can only manipulate carbon he touches, such as the surface of his skin, the wooden blade, or even the air (when he hardens the air, it becomes a floating orb of carbon). This power is extremely powerful consider it's proprieties
Strengths: Inhumanly fast, cunning, "good-looking", can act the part of a gentleman very well, has a higher intellect than most.
Weakness: Physically human all around, is more a hit and run type of character.
