This was the most important text message Belladonna had ever received in her entire life.
OK, that wasn't quite true. There was that one text message a few months back that let her know her dead for a few weeks boilfriend had resurrected, so technically that one was the most important. BUT. This text message from Desu-Chan was just as important! She wanted to talk! To Belladonna!
The witch fumbled around her room in a swirl of pink and black, all frantic and hasty as she changed into a more appropriate dress and pulled her hair into two high pigtails. Before she was out the door she paused to send a text to Desu, just to let know she might be late.



Maybe the witch hadn't quite gotten the hang of emotes, but she was sort of trying? Still, she kissed goodbye to the multitude of minis in her room before she happily fluttered out the door and toward the park. It was further than she'd expected, but it seemed easier to navigate the world when one did not bring a train of skirts along with them. Granted, this was something the witch would never quite catch onto simply because she did really love her fluffy dresses, but nevertheless noticed as she finally made it to the park and spotted the pink Trick or Treater.
"Good afternoooon Desu-Chaaaan!" She called out with a wave of hand over her head as she happily ran to the ghoul. There may or may not have been some sparkles, since sempai had called her there that day. The witch was ready to be noticed!

The witch was all smiles and coos and compliments (she looked lovely in her kimono! And her hair was so cute, like always! And her emoticons had been particularly flourishing that day!), the witch scurried over to the flipped table and did her best not to look confused over where to sit. If the table had been upright she could have simply sat down on the surface but um um um! Where did she sit on the flipped table?!
Nevermind, the witch would just copy Desu-Chan as best she could and hastened to do so. When she was properly seated she first had to fluff out her petticoat in a pretty fashion so that passerby's might see the lovely pattern on her skirt. Once that was finished she turned a smile to her sempai.
Wherupon then her smile quickly faded.

Why did Desu-Chan look so mad?!?! ;AAAAAAAA;
"Y-you said y-y-you wanted to talk?" Belladonna began most helpfully, trying to keep a smile up despite Desu's fierce stare.

Oh, the witch had gotten a little ahead of herself. 'Talking' wasn't really something Desu-Chan did quite often, given that she was, yanno, a Thunder oni and all that. Whoops! Belladonna had taken the idea of 'talking' quite literally and had been just a teensy bit too excited to get all sorts of giggly and chatty with the Trick or Treater.
The envelope handed over helped immensely though, especially because it was pink but more especially because it made Desu smile when she offered it to the witch. That was always a good sign! The witch wasted no time at all opening, though actually no she did waste some time being very careful not to rip it anymore than she needed to because it was a special gift from Desu-Chan! Finally she got it opened and extracted the letter, her eyes going a bit glazed at the bright pink letters written on it.
The words made sense, they really did, but she still couldn't help giving Desu a rather awe-struck look.
"Rage proposed to you?" She didn't sound incredulous in the manner that she doubted the fact that he would propose to the beautiful Desu. More, she sounded like someone who just watched their OTP become canon and felt it might possibly be too good to be true.

Thankfully that didn't last as the witch jumped up to hug the oni as well as jump up and down, flapping her hands in glee.
"Oh my Hecate and stars and moon that's wonderful! I am so vastly excited for you and I would be absolutely beyond honored to be your flower ghoul! Oh this is wonderful! How did he propose!? Tell me it was horrifically romantic! I want all the details!"
That whole not really able to talk thing from before was totally forgot. Naturally.

The intense gave Desu gave reminded the witch that she had been far too invested in hearing the details to have given a proper answer. But that look... Oh well then.
With a deep breath and a fold of her hands under her chin to give the appropriate kira-kira eyes, Belladonna smiled at the ToT'er.
"Oh Desu-Chan! I would be absolutely honored to be your flower ghoul! So yes!" Yayayayayayayayay!

All the blushing had the witch cooing, so glad her ship was becoming canon. Everything was so sweet and adorable that the nearly bone breaking hug wasn't even a bother. Rather it only served to endear the witch to the situation all the more so that by the time Desu began to show off pictures she was nearly keening with her joy.
"Your ring is so pretty! You're so precious when you blush! Look at all that destruction, goodness what an interesting way to propose. Its very ingenious since he knows you well. I am quite proud of him." Speaking at a normal, or evenly paced, manner was absolutely silly because this was too cute.

With wide pink eyes the witch leaned in to read the article in full, calming momentarily to view the explanation from a third party observer. Of course such a thing wouldn't have the details of Desu's outfit (thankfully those had been provided in photos), or what Rage had said, if he had proposed with any fancy words just for Desu. It all sounded so romantic!
"You must be very excited!"

To see the Trick or Treater so blissfully happy was a wonderful sight, especially considering the numerous less than pleasant events that had transpired in the past few months. It was things like these, a wedding to look forward to, that made the witch able to carry on. As sentimental as she suddenly felt she would not let it overtake her and instead continued to sparkle at Desu, more than grateful to be sharing such a sweet occasion with the ghoul.
The map produced from her sleeve was a surprise that made Belladonna blink before she gently took the paper. Not wholly sure of what she was looking at (maps were such confusing little things with all their lines and squares and roads and colors that didn't make sense), she cast wide eyes up at Desu only to see a smile. The card, however, answered all her questions.
Happy Haunts, Happy Haunts, Happy Haunts... Had the witch heard of that before? After another viewing of the card she realized it really didn't matter because the word that caught her eye did actually matter.

"We're going dress shopping?! Oh my great giddy aunt yes let's!!!" With a squeal and a giggle the witch hopped off the flipped over table to do a little excited dance as she flapped her hands at Desu. Oh this was turning into an absolutely wonderful day!
