((The following is an AIM RP between ImAHarumiBunny & techabyte))  Naerdiel woke up with the sun casting shadows behind the trees, she wasn't sure as to how it was that she had slept through the sun shining onto her face but somehow she had done it. A yawn worked its way out and she did it slowly as she looked around wondering if she was indeed alone. She didn't really see anything but trees and brush around her and found herself relaxing even more. There didn't seem to be a threat or any reason to be worried about anything. She considered wandering about and seeing just what there was out there to eat. Without thinking twice, her hooves seemed to carry her away from her sleeping spot and off to a lot of grass with lots of bushes holding berries. She sniffed them softly and they smelled sweet enough so she began to nibble them.

 Growling slightly, Phosgene paced in front of the stream that he had located. He didn't generally have any issues with anything around lately. Though he was getting himself into a tizzy. The pain on his back was causing him to shift to a point that he wanted nothing more than to locate a cave and hide away. He dipped his head down, staring at his own reflection with a snarl. There was a reason he never came out during the daylight. He lapped at the water, before quickly distancing himself from it. Why stear at what caused him so much pain? Shaking his head, he flopped his rabbit like ear back as best as he could, folded his faded wings tight against his back. Why bother at all?

Nae heard something close by and wondered just what it was that could be making such painful and somewhat grunted but grownling noises. She walked slowly and softly through the brush and bushes until she was able to look out at the stream. It was an interesting figure much like herself but their appearance was far different. There seemed to be rabbit ears attached to their head, a strange looking tail and some rather odd looking wings attached to the back she had never seen before. She walked out into the open and cleared her throat to make her appearance known. It wasn't very much like her to come out of hiding nor let others know of her prescence but she was growing tired of being the meek and weak that hide in the shadows type. "Hello." She didn't really speak the word in a cheery tone or one that was annoyed, it was just plain. "Are you in need of some aid, I mean are you in pain and hurting at all?" She spoke those words with some bit of concern even though she had no idea of the story of this particular being before her. It never came to her that she might be in danger but her gut feeling was telling her she was okay to be here. "Can I come closer?" As the words left her mouth, she slowly stepped closer to what she assumed was an injured stallion and the stream.

The sounds hit his ears before she was anywhere near him. His ears perked up some, flopping forward a bit from the length of them. What was this? Someone was coming... He stopped, turning his head to the sound of footfall. It wasn't until he saw her that a soft growl shifted from his throat, eyes narrowing darkly as she spoke. What was she doing so close? He backed up several steps, lowering his head some, wings flexing slightly as she got closer. He hissed at her as she took the step, taking another one back in turn, his muscles tightening. What was she doing? She really was approaching someone like him?

Nae realized that she probably made a mistake but if he was injured he should be looked at. "Easy I mean no harm, I'm just concerned if your hurt thats all." She spoke the words honestly and stopped moving towards him. "Tell you what, I'll stop right here and let you come to me, all I want to do is make sure your okay. I won't push it and won't come towards you anymore, you can come towards me when you like." With the words out, she laid down in the grass on the other side of the stream. "I imagine if your hurt your probably scared but I could be wrong, I don't mean any harm. I just want to make sure your okay that's all." She smiled at him even though his appearance was a little intimidating and when he began to growl at her she wanted to run away. She pushed the feelings down and pushed the feeling of wanting to aid him above it all. She continued to smile at him as she wondered if she made the right move. Her thoughts turned to herself and if she was injured, she might act just like he was right? Maybe his wound was really bad and he did need someone to help him after all.

Phosgene growled softly, his ears flicking, before flopping in front of him. He felt his muscles tightening somewhat, as if he was about to spring. He bared his mouth full of sharp teeth. The Kalona tail flicked behind him, before he flared the fading wings out as if to seem bigger. He was small in stature, taking after his mother in height. If that meant he could seem bigger with his wings, he would. His pink slit eyes narrowed dangerously toward the mare, and his body quivered lightly as she talked to him. For several moments he thought of ripping her throat out with his fangs, but he suppressed it in favor of analyzing her with sharp eyes.
He could feel the pain surging through his legs. But Phosgene didn't care; he didn't want to surge forward and end up buckling from the pain. Instead, he stood very still, aside from the quiver of his muscles. His tail lashed behind him once more, and his eyes stayed locked on the mare. If she tried to come for him again, Phosgene would attack would lash. He would snap his fangs and beat his wings.
